Progress Deli has been an incredible little hole-in-the-wall of a discovery. With it being so close to work I can see why myself and many of my fellow coworkers enjoy this establishment. Fairly priced for a good portion of food, definitely worth a visit for a quick lunch. The ambience is small and can be a bit packed during a quick rush. This is a tiny, family owned deli specializing in sandwiches, salads and wraps. They also do breakfast for the early risers. It's located very close to my job and I've been going for years. The owners are some of the friendliest people you will come across! I've tried their club salad, chicken and tuna salads, chicken delite wrap, and if you happen to go on Friday, their chicken quesadilla special is amazing! The quesadilla's accompanying homemade salsas are very delicious and fresh. I'm currently eating the club salad with a scoop of chicken salad in place of the grilled chicken. This place is small but the sandwiches are HUGE! Found this place while browsing Yelp for lunch. Was uncertain because of the prices. So I called and asked how could they justify 8.99 for a BLT. The guy on the phone told me they were MAN sized! So I bit. I tell you I was impressed! This was the biggest BLT I ever had. I have tried almost everything on their menu and I haven't had anything I didn't like. They also make fresh hibiscus tea everyday and it is awesome. Give them a try! The staff is absolutely wonderful and the food is so good! I've been here several times for sandwiches at lunchtime and it's always busy. The servings are huge so plan to eat it as either 2 meals or split it with someone. Today I realized they also have breakfast and it is a game changer! I had a sausage and bacon egg and cheese burrito which was huge!! There had to have been 6 eggs in it and they didn't skimp on the meat either. The salsa and sour cream made it perfect. Huge delicious sandwiches! It's kind of hard to find this deli at first as it's sandwiched in between two businesses in a strip building but don't let that deter you from visiting. For breakfast they have bagels, croissants, and burritos. For lunch they serve salads and hot and cold sandwiches. The sandwiches are very big and will fill you up, you can probably split a sandwich with a friend if you want a lighter lunch. The bread is tasty, the veggies are fresh, and the meat is good. This place just makes my heart happy. Everything about this place is simple. They are a small operation but they have quite a few options on the menu, from sandwiches to burritos . I chose the first thing that stuck out to me, the super torta. Wow was it super, ham,bacon and chicken all on perfect crunchy bread. I was surprised by just how huge it was. I only ate half before I was full. It came with my choice of chips(typical frito-lay options). What makes this place even better is that because it is a small local business the gentleman at the cashier seemed to know everyone who came in by their first name. He knew a lot of their orders too. He recognized that I was a first time customer and gave me my drink for free. They use those massive styrofoam to-go cups for their tea, my kinda place! As far as the location it is tucked away in a little business center off of 316. If you think that you are in the wrong place then you're probably in the right one! This place was amazing. I've come here a few times and every single time I've eaten the chicken salad sandwich. It's the best sandwich I have eaten from local deli's by far. This deli also has a unique array of drinks. I believe the first time I went they gave me a cranberry/pomegranate beverage, and the second a delicious fruity drink of a fruit I can't recall the name to.
