We come to Boulevard Clams every year for clams to cook on the grill and every couple years for a meal. We stopped in here last night, luckily kind of early because by the time we left they were packed. I've always loved this place for their clams...always amazing and fresh. I will say that their wait in menu is a bit pricey, but you're paying LBI prices so just expect it. We had a party of five last night and the food was delicious. Wifey had a fried flounder sandwich that was too much for her (so I got about 1/3 of her filet!), but she loved it. I had the premium crab cakes and started with a dozen little necks. The little necks were really small so I was a little disappointed in the serving size, but the crab cakes with fries and 1/2 a corn on the cob filled me up. My son and daughter's boyfriend both had salmon and my daughter had garlic Parmesan shrimp and pasta. Always a delicious meal!

I had the most amazing out of body moment eating the steamers here today. As a kid my grandparents lived in New Suffolk way east on the North fork of Long Island and we used to go in the morning and get the steamer clams off bay for dinner. We could eat literally more than a couple of dozen each for dinner. Nothing was fresher. Today I had steamer clams here that brought me right back to grandma's table! They were so incredibly tender (stems and all), sweet and fresh. For anyone who is not a fan, I can't describe them. For anyone who is, I implore you --- take a ride and eat those steamer clams. They come in a bucket to go. But they will make you a third for an order to eat in. I had two orders. I could have eaten 3! With the melted butter and the broth for dipping it was sheer heaven. I am a happy person today.

This was the next stop on the Nj.com 35 Old School Restaurants list. It's only open during the summer months, and we finally made the drive down today. It was very worth it. I had delicious New England clam chowder to start. It was incredibly fresh so the taste of the clams shined through. I had the clams casino after that, and it too was tasty and made so well. My girlfriend had steamed clams and couldn't stop raving about them. We will definitely be back here.

Got charged $30 for a single clam roll. They justified the cost by saying they were whole- belly clams and had to be shipped in, but that's still excessive. If it had been an exceptional clam roll I might have been ok with it, but they were fried all to hell so you could barely taste them; it was like eating bread on bread. Their fresh-squeezed lemonade, on the other hand, was excellent.

Stopped in for a quick lobster roll to go. Looked like there were some tables inside for dining in but the weather was so nice that I wanted to enjoy the roll outside. Super helpful and kind staff who gave me a brief rundown of what they offer inside. One told me about how they've been offering the hot roll exclusively for years so I was sold! It was jam packed with lobster and the bun was great. Gone in seconds!

The best fresh seafood on the island. Family owned, this place has excellent service and great fast casual dining. You can never go wrong with their buttery lobster roll or crab cakes!

Originally had this as 3.5 stars in the write up but greatly appreciate when ownership responds in a constructive/kind way, updated to 5 stars to reflect service! Good portions as far as seafood on the island is concerned. The mussels and tuna sandwich were very good. Fried flounder came with two big pieces of fish. Ordered the New England style whole belly clams which was nice and crispy however was expensive for what it was, IMO. Learned that the market price did in fact go up.

My boyfriend who's 14 works there and they gave him an open bottle of alcohol. They're serving alcohol to minors and it's disgusting.

First visit and will not be our last. The resturant is nice with bar seating outside and inside…read moredining. Our server Lauren S. Happily greeted us and was attentive all through our dinner. She even surprised my husband with a selection of ice teas after asking him which kind he wanted. Smart girl! We enjoyed 2 appetizers - baked clams and artichoke stuffed with crab. Both EXCELLENTLY prepared with just the right amount of butter and garlic. I had the shrimp and crab dinner...sooooo much crab....no filler! Hubby had the seafood combo. Sides were delicious. They offer a small wine menu, but we passed. Price was moderate. We enjoyed our meal, the atmosphere and the staff. There is also a fishery market and the selections looked amazing. 45 years in business and it shows!!!!!!

She was so friendly and helpful and even tho they only have wine we were told we could go across the street to the liquor store and get beer . I must say I was a little disappointed, how does a nice seafood place like this doesn't have beer , cocktails or frozen drinks ? But we made it work with beer since it was simply way too hot for wine . The mussels bucket was really good and so was the garlic baked clams , they also have white corn that I could have eaten a dozen hahahaha !! We also ordered steak shrimp , cod fish and crabcake , it was well seasoned but there wasn't enough to be honest . The staff is awesome and the fish is very fresh, would definitely go back , but would be great if there were better outside seating and some frozen drinks . You should check it out . Thank you again Ceyida for the amazing service :)

This has become one of our very most favorite, special places to go. We first tried them shortly…read moreafter they first opened, and dove in headfirst with a holiday (Easter) meal with the family. They made a wonderful first impression, and no then-brand new restaurant on a major holiday (the restaurant equivalent of baptism by fire for staff and customers) can usually pull that off. They did, and did so beautifully. Our subsequent returns have been generally just us as a couple, party of 2, but occasionally we'll bring another couple in our friend group. No one leaves disappointed (except me, who still hasn't figured out how to leave belly room to try one of their desserts). Highlights include the skirt steak and the broiled scallops. I would sell a soul (not my soul, for it's cold and dead and I don't think they fetch much on the market, so it would have to be a better soul) for their risotto cakes. BYOB, which more than allows the few extra dollars you might think are attached to meals. You're paying for top quality and their prices are more than fair for what you get. Sometimes their phones can have trouble when making a reservation. Not sure if that's a VOiP thing or what, but check their social media often (be advised: the photos of the food may cause your mouth to salivate.) Can't wait to return.

Eggplant tower I would order every time I come here. Light and crispy and didn't fall apart when cutting in half to share. The flame grilled sample board for 2 was the right call and price was totally fair for the portion size. Fresh chimichurri sauce and their house steak sauce went well with all 3 cuts of steak. They executed the medium rare temp like champions too. Only 4 stars because the large greenhouse window could work if it had a decent view not a side parking lot. Felt like those 1980s Wendy's with that same window thing going on. Service was solid and food came out relatively quick even with 2 large parties sitting down at a similar time as us. Def going back.
