We all arrived and they only let us go into the play area 10 minutes past the start time of the party. No explanation, no apology, no extra time given. The staff just sat around the play area and chatted among themselves and did nothing. During the party time where food and cake were served, the staff did not help with the flow of the party, did not serve food, and only brought out the sliced pieces of the cake the last 15 minutes of the party. Also, they rushed us to leave although they started at least 10 minutes late. How's that fair? Also, beware - in the play spaces there are numerous machines or games where you have to pay extra to play. They're in the middle of the jumping areas, so kids (and everyone else!) would think they're included but they're not, so be prepared for that.

I started going to BBB because if I ever got into a fight at a bar, I wanted to feel confident kicking someone's ass. Plain and simple. I'm 5'1 so... Napoleonic Complex I guess? I LOVE BBB at Bayside because well first of all there is actual parking next door for it. Parking for a classes-only gym... In QUEENS?? Unheard of. But more importantly, everyone is serious about fitness and works really hard exercising, but no one takes themSELVES too seriously. It's not a popularity contest. It's mostly young professionals who are there to do their thing, hype you up if necessary, and peace out. The music pumps you up, and like my favorite instructor Carlos says, this place encourages you to "Eat something healthy and don't be a jerk".
