Came here with my 8yr old daughter, her friend; my wife, my 12 yr old son and 5 of his friends. Good time had by all. Make sure you join your kids doing the courses. Great confidence builder. Great way to keep the kids off of Fortnite. Well priced, well staffed, all-around A+. We've been to a similar park in Bridgeport and this one is just as good if not better. We went on a weeknight; it was empty which was great. Anyone 8 yrs old and up (including all parents) should give this place a try! Enjoy! P.S. My wife was the only one out of any of us to get thru the Black Diamond (I wouldn't even try) and all the boys had to quit and get lowered down 1/2 way through. What an experience I had at Boundless Adventures!!! A group of us went there on 7/6/2021 and we can't stop talking about how much fun we had. We can't wait to go back and try more courses! First off booking was so easy. The staff are so helpful! The owner, Lorrie, personally helped get our group booked. You really get the sense that she and her staff want everyone to have a great time. Confirmations and receipts seamless go right to email. Online waivers are cinch and super easy. Just make sure to hit the check box for climb time. When you arrive, you park right on the SUNY Purchase campus. Signs are everywhere to direct you. Head over to registration to check in. Very quick because they already had all our info. Then we got in line to have the staff put on our harnesses. Now I'm in the fire service and was very impressed with the quality of their equipment. Firefighters use bailout systems to jump out of buildings. Boundless uses higher quality equipment than us! You know right away this was going to be safe. After harnessing, you go to the safety demo. The staff member, Harrison, who looks like a red-headed Tarzan, was so thorough and helpful. He continued to look out after our group while on the courses to make sure we were okay. The courses are color coded by difficulty. Yellow- easiest. Green- easy- med. Blue- med. Black- most challenging. Our group mostly started on the green course. Now I don't have a fear of heights but they're not my favorite. I was able to get over the initial anxiety pretty quickly because there's no way you can ever fall. You are always clipped in! Very safe! It was so fun going through the various elements. Whoever designed the course was very creative. The staff was around to offer tips to make things a little easier. Wow wow wow. I really cannot express more how much we enjoyed our stay here. We came as a school in two grade cohorts, and were taken care of so wonderfully by the Boundless Adventure crew. Tucked away not too far from the city, it was a great chance to get away into the "outdoors" while we're still in the the thicket of the pandemic. The crew was very knowledgeable, well-trained, and were very student/kid friendly. I felt very safe and secure knowing that they were there to help in case anything went wrong. In fact, when we had two medical incidents, they were very quick to act and assist. This was made even more impressive that most of the staff is made of students from SUNY Purchase. There are 4 different types of courses across the Purchase, NY park, with varying degrees of difficulty. There are 9 courses in total to choose from, including 3 yellow, 3 green, 2 blue, and 1 black course (in order of difficulty). To do the ultimate black, you need to have done a blue, and before a blue, the green. The courses were challenging, but so so fun. They included "elements" (ie. obstacles) that include "Faith Leaping" and ziplining. You choose at your own pace and are never forced to do anything you're uncomfortable with. Honestly, I cannot rave enough about what a positive experience this was. I highly recommend and will be visiting again soon with my friends. This would be great for a work retreat, a family outing, reunion, etc. read more

My husband and I booked two spots to go to their facility for Saturday June 18th 2021, Father's Day Weekend. On June 17th 2021 my husband suffered a serious medical condition that required his stay in the hospital. He is still in the hospital as we speak. I have been so wrapped up in my husband's condition that I forgot that we booked the spot at this facility. I called them on Saturday June 26, 2021 to request a credit for a future visit. Please bear in mind that I am not even requesting a refund I am only requesting a credit for a future visit. This company refuses to look at documentation proving that my husband is in the hospital and they refuse to offer any credit. Since we booked online, they claim they lost money because we didn't show up. However this is not the case because the option to book online is completely optional (according to their site). They except walk-ins all day, every day . We could have walked in on June 18th 2021 to utilize the services they offer. Thus, they did not lose out because they easily gave our two spots to two walk-ins who came that day and paid that day. COVID or no COVID, even with limited capacity two walk-ins took our place. I was unable to contact anyone the day of my husband was admitted into the hospital because the hospital does not have cellular reception. I even got in trouble with my job because I couldn't contact them. I am requesting that your agency please review this case where I can either receive a credit for a future visit or a refund altogether. This company is being very difficult and not accommodating considering everything that has happened in the United States in the past year. IF YOU KNOW LIFE HAPPENS DON'T BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. EVEN IF YOU ARE SICK OR IN THE HOSPITAL THEY'LL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND OFFER YOU NO REMEDY! FIND ANOTHER VENDOR WITH A CONSCIENCE! I took my 11 year old son for the glow in the dark experience. The staff was professional, friendly, and through in use of the equipment. There are various levels for the challenge course. We started with an easy yellow to get a feel for the equipment and using it. Then we moved up to green. I'm hoping next time we will try blue. We had a blast and enjoyed our time. I have never written a review before - but the treatment that we received from the manager at Boundless Adventures (Lorrie) was so disrespectful and rude that I feel compelled to alert others to what you might face if you book a group outing to Boundless Adventures. We booked an outing as part of a birthday party for my son - the weather the day of the outing was iffy but my son wanted to go and we were willing to deal with a little rain and wind if necessary. They called in the morning and said that they were closed for the day because of weather and therefore we had to cancel. While disappointed we accepted the decision and asked for a refund (given they cancelled). At that point the situation escalated as Lorrie got involved and gave multiple conflicting statements in increasingly loud terms about whether or not the facility would be open. We didn't really care that much about the refund but rather wanted the option to go on the trip if possible. Over multiple phone calls the staff gave conflicting accounts on whether or not the facility would be open and ultimately we decided not to go. Since that time Lorrie has followed up with multiple emails to berate us about not coming and not providing information in advance (despite that fact that we were in near constant communication with the staff throughout the day). If you are thinking of booking a group event there I would not expect the management team to provide any support and if any issue comes up you should expect to be treated in a highly disrespectful manner (as you can see from other reviews). read more

After doing a ropes course in Connecticut, I was anxious to find one closer to NYC, and Boundless Adventures is perfect! It was a great total body workout, and equal parts challenging, thrilling, and fun. There are 4 different levels of courses so you can start easy and work your way up to a more difficult course. You get an introduction and to test out your harness clips before you begin, but the rest is self-guided, which I thought was cool. However, the staff are always around throughout the course to help when needed or to provide guidance. They were great. You don't have to be a kid or be with a family to do this. Definitely recommend if you're not afraid of heights, and if you're looking for something fun and different to do! read more

Our experience there was fantastic. I will write some tips here for those who like to plan ahead. I was there with two 13 years old girls who are in very good shape. 1. The area is contained/limited and there are several picnic tables in the middle below the courses, so those who don't participate can watch others on the courses. 2. There are a few drinking water tanks available, but you should bring your own since there is no guarantee for its availability. You may leave your belongings on a picnic table. At the registration booth (across the street from the courses, near the parking lot), you can buy drinks, but once you put a harness on, I am not sure if you can go back there. 3. The website says it takes 3-4 hours. One course takes about 30 minutes. You may do multiple courses. We were there for 3 hours for 5 courses of Intermediate (green) and Advanced (blue) with a quick water break in between. 4. The area is mostly shaded with trees. We went in early August and it was 90F+, and we sweat a lot, but the zip line gave us a good breeze. It feels great for the whole time. We will definitely go back. read more

I went there the last week they were open for the season and was excited to try this out. There were 4 of us in total and we paid extra to do the zip lining. It was very chilly that day so I had to drive my back to my house and get a thicker jacket for my daughter. By the time I came back, the girls were already trying out the course. I parked my car and was walking towards the entrance when I noticed my daughter and wanted to take a picture of her. As I was standing outside the fence, I pulled out my phone and not one click goes by before one of the staff members tells me that I can't take a picture. I was sure that I has misunderstood her so I asked what did she say and sure enough she said not to take a picture. I told her that my daughter was inside and wanted to catch this moment and she reiterated that I couldn't take a picture. I go to their website to check if this in fact was a policy and couldn't find anything. So my next step is to email and ask about their picture taking policy. I didn't get a response until 4 emails later from a Lorrie Funtleyder with the question "What is the purpose of this request?" I replied with issue that I just discussed here and their response was " I have checked with the manager and he doesn't know what you are talking about. People are allowed to take pictures of the people they are with. It isn't clear why you would be taking pictures from outside of the fence. It is possible that the staff were trying to protect our guests' privacy. I don't really know what else to say on the matter". Man I tell you, they really know how to address an issue. I promised them I would be writing a review based in their response, so here I am. Will I refer anyone to this place? Absolutely not. Customer Service matters and clearly these people lack any skills. UPDATE: Now you want to address me by name, apologize for your rude response, ask me to remove your name from my review and come up with different excuses for your lack of customer service. Wow -- this was fabulous! Went with 2 college-age kids and me (56 year old woman). We all had a great time. Choices of courses let me join in on the fun. Only one person is allowed on an element at a time, and only 3 on a platform, so we were able to be socially distant from others for the entirety of our experience. Felt 100% safe and secure -- both from the virus and the activities. Challenges were... well, challenging. Little zip lines were fun, along with the "Drop of Faith" at the end of each blue course. The staff were always available if we needed some suggestions for the best way to complete an activity. What a great was to spend a few hours. Highly recommend it. We will do this again! read more

I visited with my grandchildren. Two of them are 8 years old and one is 10 years old. They had a great day. A staff member gave instruction prior to the kids heading to the courses. The instructor was both thorough and patient answering all of the questions asked. While on the courses, there were many staff members on the ground monitoring the climbers of all levels. The courses are challenging to all age levels and there are plenty of courses at each level. The climbers can redo the courses as often as time allows. Not only is it great exercise, but the confidence this builds is evident on the faces of kids and adults alike. First, the climber decides on a particular course. Then they must decide how to navigate the course. While watching one particular obstacle, I observed 6 individuals approach it 6 different ways. The staff is friendly, patient and helpful. We had SO much fun here with our kids! They're 8, 12 & 14 and we brought them here twice last week. It's easy to make your reservation, pay and sign your waivers online or you can go in person without a reservation. When you arrive you go to the registration office and sign in and they'll send you down to the park which is right down the path leave your car parked right there in the lot. There are also bathrooms next to the registration office. You can bring food and drinks in, there's picnic tables to leave your bags and sit and eat. You get 3 hours to do the obstacle courses after you get fitted into your safety equipment and get your gloves, safety info and demo. There is no chance of falling because there are 2 clips and one clip locks when the other is unlocked so even though I'm terrified of heights I knew I was completely safe. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful! If you get stuck up there or need help just shout "Staff, staff, staff!". There are several courses; yellow, green, blue and black. You have to complete a yellow course to do a green course and a yellow and a green to do a blue and so on. There are age and supervision requirements which are posted online so take a look first. The courses are all different and they each have different obstacles and zip lines to complete. You really get the hang of it after a few minutes up there! We did all of the yellow and green courses as a family and then my husband and 2 older kids moved onto the blues and finally the Black because my 8 year old wasn't able to do those. So we just did our favorite yellow and green ones again. While it is expensive, it is WELL worth it for 3 hours of outdoor fun! read more

This place is absolutely amazing. If you are an outdoors and adventurous person like me, you will definitely love your time here. I believe I paid for 3 hours but if I knew how much fun it was I would've paid for the whole day. You can definitely make use of all the time there and stay occupied. The courses are longer than I expected but it made it more fun. There are bathrooms and they offer drinks and snacks in case you get hungry. I suggest coming on a day where it's 70-80 degrees. It gets extremely hot and sweaty in the weather, even though you are in the shade under trees the workout the courses give you are out of this world. Make sure to bring sunscreen and bug spray. They also have picnic benches for you to eat and leave your belongings. It's extremely safe and really fun. Kid friendly as well! I was surprised to see a lot of young children doing these hard courses. But the courses are easy once you get the hang of it. Don't wear cropped shirts, wear short sleeves and mid length shorts or leggings. That way the harness doesn't mark your skin and your clothes won't irritate you. As someone who forgets easily, the rules and how to zipline came naturally after practicing and going through an easier course. The employees are super nice and extremely helpful. read more

I went with a group of 8 people for my birthday and we all had such a great time. It's up to you on the level of difficulty you want to do we everyone in the group was able to choose something right for them. I skipped the yellow and did one green then one blue and then the black course. I didn't want to save the black for the end when I'd be the most tired. Then I went back and did the second blue course. Each course takes 30-45 minutes to complete. The obstacles were fun and challenging. The next day, you'll definitely feel it! The staff was great. We had a thorough orientation and they helped us put on the harnesses and always available if you get stuck on an obstacle. So much fun! Definitely check it out. read more

Absolutely loved it here. Just celebrated my daughter's 10th birthday there. All of her friends and the parents that joined in to climb really had fun. We can't wait to come back . . and many of the kids want to come back again too! Our party was in an early morning time - 10 am - and it was great because we pretty much had the place to ourselves. By the time we finished at 1pm I did notice it got very crowded - a number of schools and parties had showed up. I saw on the website they do have peak hours . . I think it is really worth it to visit at off peak times - that way you can really enjoy the beauty of the courses and complete them on your own time without someone chomping at the bit behind you to finish so they can continue. read more

This was my second time this year and it was even better than the first. (First time in the summer, second time in the fall when the leaves were changing. - SO beautiful!) The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful, particularly when you are stuck 50 feet up in the trees. They respond quickly if you need them and give useful tips if you're having trouble navigating a course. Safety is their primary concern, and regularly check your harness when you go on the more challenging courses. You have 3 hours to complete as many courses as you can and you can work at your own pace (as long as someone isn't right behind you). I will be returning. read more

Really a fun place to chill and play FOR ADULTS ! Went with my sister and we are in our late 20s. The staff was really helpful and its worth it for the price 60$ is like $20 per hour. You could bring your phome to take pics, BUT it needs to be placed in a secure place (like a zipped pocket) while climbing/ziplining. There are multiple courses in each level. If you dont want to move on to the next/more difficult course, you do not have to. A really bad thunderstorm was on the way, so a staff member followed us throughout our final course. Luckily we completed the course before any unsafe weather occurred, but he was prepared to rescue us at any point in time. We are exited to go back! read more

Staff was SUPER friendly as said with other reviews, they are all over the area watching and make sure everyone was not stuck and guiding them thru all obstacles. The owners were very eager to answer all questions you had in mind. My 8yr old son was stuck at one point and was afraid to come down and their staff tried to guide my wife to help him come down, since it was a NO GO, their staff ran up to the obstacle course and guided him back down with TONS of patience talking and walking him thru. My car died also and needed a jumper, I asked them where could I get a jump or help. One of their staff actually ran to his rental truck and see if he had them sitting around. Just the employees this place has is so heart warming. The only downside so far is, there is no small play area yet for toddlers or kids under age 7. But my 4yr old and his companions had a lot of fun running around back and forth on their entrance bridge. I would definitely come back again during the summer. Went with 2 friends who had never been on a ropes course before and we had an amazing time! The staff was friendly and very helpful. The courses had a great variety of challenges and was extremely safe. Definitely returning soon! I did take a star off because when we arrived a camp of 160 kids was being processed and we ended up waiting with others who had arrived on time for the 11am slot (we started at least 30 min after our reserved time). Suggestion: reserve a day for just camps/large groups or block out more time for them and don't have a slot immediately after theirs. The positive part was that we went through the safety course in our smaller group (thank you, staff) before the last camp group went through and we were able to start on a Blue course that none of the campers had chosen. I went expecting to stay for only about an hour. It turned out to be more than three hours of fun. I took my 13 year old daughter and a friend of hers, and all three of us came away feeling a sense of pride in accomplishment. Navigating even the simplest courses requires some dexterity, strength, and the ability to push past a little fear at times. We were completely safe the whole time, of course, but we still had to overcome the reflex not to take that step or leap 20 or more feet off the ground at times.
