Had reservations but went early and were seated right away! Very cool vibe with a 3 piece band playing. They were really good. Started with a cocktail. I had the basic old fashioned smoked. Really good. And a nice pour! Then we had the seasonal bisque. Amazing! Tomato bisque with a big crouton topped with chèvre. So good. American board. Everything tasted really good. Loved the Chorizo meatballs. Really great flavors but not and miss with the chorizo heat. Nathalie was awesome. We had a blas

Yelp doesn't let me down often but it did this time. In my opinion, there is no way this place should be getting a 4.6 rating. The food was awful. I wonder if a lot of "friends" of the restaurant have been doing reviews. First, the service was poor. We sat at our table for 15 minutes and no waiter showed up. I finally had to flag someone down and they went and found our waiter. He turned out to be a nice guy but we only saw him twice during our meal - once when he took our order and then again after we were done eating. Asking us how everything is after we're done eating isn't very helpful. He should have checked partway through the meal how everything was and if we needed anything else. Next let's talk about the food. Ahh yes. This is where the real issue was. You basically order a bunch of boards with some food on them. The prices are very high. I get it. It's St. Augustine. The problem is you don't get very much food and it was awful. The two burger sliders on my fiancé's board were cold (lukewarm) as were the meatballs on my dad's board. The meatballs also had gristle in them and were kind of tough. The chicken wings on the American Board were similarly poor. My bisteca strips were tough, cold and tasteless. The shrimp that came with my board were soggy and not fresh. The Mac N Cheese board was even worse. The Mac N Cheese tasted old and stale and it seemed someone had just microwaved leftover Mac N Cheese they had lying around. None of the food we had seemed fresh. It all tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. Another issue was the price. The American Board with two small cold sliders and two cold chicken wings was $30. Absurd for what you get. The other boards were just as bad. At the end of the meal the waiter asked how everything had been. I gave him an honest appraisal. I wasn't looking for any money back (nor was any offered). I just thought they should know. He said he would go back and talk to the chef. He came back out and said the chef offered to buy us cheesecake. We politely declined and just asked for the bill. At this point, we just wanted to leave. I make it a point of never punishing the waitstaff for a bad experience unless they did something deliberate. Our waiter was a nice guy and, even though he really only came to our table twice, I left him the usual 20% tip. Again, I get it this is a tourist town and people come and go. However, even so that doesn't justify this poor quality of food for such high prices. I would give Bourbon & Board a wide berth and find other places to spend your dining dollars.

If you find yourself in the historic town of Saint Augustine, there's one place you absolutely cannot afford to miss: "Bourbon and Boards." This establishment offers a dining experience that's nothing short of extraordinary. But what truly sets this place apart is its exceptional selection of wine and spirits. Whether you're a bourbon enthusiast or a wine connoisseur, you'll find yourself in heaven here. The quality and variety of their libations are truly outstanding. Now, let's talk about the food. The freshness of their offerings is unparalleled. Stopped in here for a drink and snack while roaming around downtown St. Augustine. It seemed like it opened not too long ago. We got a seat by the front door. There was live music going on. Which is a plus, I ordered a blackberry smash and my friend and I shared a charcuterie. My drink was good. Some of the cheeses on the board I really loved. The only thing about this place is that it is very loud in here because of the music and you cannot hear each other talk.

Where to begin?? This place is Awesome!!! So very much my style, gave me the feel of Dtown Sacramento Lively entrance that can instantly simmer down to a romantic feel as the guitartest plays live right in front of your table. Swing in for a wonderful cocktail at the bar, made with top notch bourbon, or do what I did and grab a table right in front of the live music all while enjoying a late lunch with the kids and family. Wine selection is great even though they are Prided for their bourbon. Food was a delicacy, and so unique and tasty!! I was pleasantly surprised. Servive was good, and staff were friendly. If you are near or coming from afar you definitely need to give them a try!

I stopped in for brunch with my wife and loved this restaurant. Great coffee and a great whiskey list that didn't just start and stop with anything from Buffalo Trace. The service was great and our waitress was knowledgeable and did a great job. I loved the iPads for menus. We had the quiche, a breakfast sandwich and waffles to share. Everything was above average. I will be back next time I am in town.

Right in the heart of St Augustine on the Plaza de la Constituciòn. Great bites that remind me of a beloved tapas ( small bites) bar. We stumbled in about 9:30 from the dark and cold to a warm atmosphere of live music and great drinks. My friend ordered a Sour Cherry Bourbon drink that I can't stop thinking about! We ordered a flatbread with tuna and the curried fried potatoes to share. The food was good. The bar is beautiful and fitting with a modern yet classic coastal feel. I'd say this place is the perfect meetup place for a group of friends pre or post walkabout in StAug.

Enjoyed an exquisite dining experience at St. Augustine's newest restaurant last night - Bourbon and Boards! @bourbonandboardsfl is a hidden gem that will whisk you away to a culinary adventure! Beautiful ambience, mesmerizing music, exceptional service and picture-worthy charcuterie boards. Along with tapas, flatbreads, and other small plates alongside an extensive bourbon menu! Great new venue in downtown St. Augustine. Their soft opening showcased very friendly staff, excellent wine selection, craft cocktails, beautiful & tasty charcuterie boards and the exceptionally talented House Cats jazz band. One of the hostesses joined the band on my favorite classic "Summertime". She has a beautiful voice & I am thrilled to find a jazz venue here.

Amazing ambience, great staff- LOVE new Fall Menu!! And the Ribeye Mac N Cheese is back ya'll!! So happy live music is back.

Good food options, good cocktail variety alcoholic and nonalcoholic. They have more dinner option as well but we were just there for a small snack.

First time here for and we came for breakfast. Server was awesome! Food was really good as well. My biggest disappointment is the cost they charge for a cup of fruit (berries, watermelon, blackberry if there were 7 pieces of fruit that was alot). They charged $12 DOLLARS. I asked the server if I was charged improperly. With embarrassment on her face, she said No. That's what kept me from giving it 5 starts. Hope they revise their cost for this item.

Catch 27 - St. Augustine, FL…read more Came to St. Augustine with a group and Catch 27 was suggested for dinner. Great choice. I checked the Yelp reviews ahead of time and it definitely lived up to them. People in our group started with drinks and everyone at the table seemed happy with what they ordered. I had the red wine braised beef brisket for my main and it was excellent, very tender and full of flavor. My friend Damon next to me had the red snapper and I tried some of that too. Also very good. Someone else at the table had the Rockefeller crusted snapper and that looked and tasted great as well. For appetizers, I had the shaved pear and blue cheese salad. It was really good and honestly enough for two people to share as an appetizer. People at the table also ordered the Devils on Horseback and liked them. I do not eat bacon, but they were happy with that dish. The deviled eggs with southern fried oysters looked really good, and I had the smoked salmon spread, which was very good too. I also saw the shrimp and grits come out for someone else and that dish looked excellent. For dessert, I had the sticky toffee pudding and it was a strong finish to the meal. Others at the table ordered the seasonal crème brûlée, which was chocolate that night. It looked great and everyone who had it said it was very good. Sunny was our waitress and she did an exceptional job. Attentive, kind, and on top of everything the whole night. In my mind this is about a 4.7 star experience, and I am rounding it up to a full 5 stars. Catch 27 is a great choice in St. Augustine.

There was no one at hostess stand because system was down and they were having troubles which I felt bad for the hostess who seemed stressed on obviously a busy night. They were out of both of the entrees we wanted, which was unfortunate but I ended up getting the catch beurre blanc and it was delicious. I ordered a sangria but our drinks took a very long time to come out, after our appetizer (crab, an heirloom tomato bruschetta which was yummy and more filling than regular bruschetta!) Overall, the food was really good and waitress was nice, but water was never refilled and everything took a really long time to come out. Would love to try it again on a regular night and hopefully they have the entrees we wanted to try:)

Variety!) plus who doesn't love the color of an Aperol spritz at sunset?! Once our party arrived we were sat and we decided on just a bunch of appetizers. Had to start with Oysters. There were so many options and honestly I forget which we decided on - but the server mentioned they were a little small but tasty. Imagine our surprise when they were absolutely not small! We also had some fries which were the exact right amount of crispy and seasoned and some fish nuggets. Also perfectly crispy and seasoned. Our server was lovely. Kept our drinks full and had some fun banter with the table. Also, if you've not ever been make sure there isn't rain in the schedule because sitting outside is glorious. And they only have valet parking (also very pleasant people). Can't wait for my next visit!

She was very kind and accommodating as we were looking for a specific table location on the patio. I would also like to shout out our server, Tom, who was also friendly. Unfortunately, service is only half of the experience. We started with a dozen raw oysters that were just not fresh. They were stuck to the shell and tasted very old. Our entrees were the beet salad and tuna poke bowl, which were both pretty good, but my wife complained about the abundance of candied nuts in the beet salad. The entertainment was meh. The manager was constantly petting the house kitty cat and then handling food, drinks and shaking customer hands. Seemed odd. Their sushi chef recently passed away so nothing related to sushi on the menu was available made to order. The place just needs proper leadership and could be a much more enjoyable experience in a town with few options on the water.
