Finally got to try B&F for a friend's birthday and overall I enjoyed it. The aesthetics of the bar + front seating area is the best, if I arrived earlier I would've loved grabbing a drink here for a bit. I did order an espresso martini at the table and loved it, shoutout to the bartenders. Service was outstanding, we didn't have to wait long for anything and they were always attentive. Dinner menu options were decent, definitely leaned more surf and turf. I throughly enjoyed the halibut, the flavor was amazing but I should've ordered either a side or appetizer since the portion was small. My only complaint of this place has got to be the desserts. Overall they were very underwhelming on presentation and taste. If they step their game up here, I would for sure repeat visit.

This is a very nice establishment! The decor is quite ornate, it did not look kid friendly at all. I went for brunch and had a great meal. They started us off with baskets of biscuits and two different butters- it could really have used a jam, because they were like a fancier KFC biscuit, so they were fluffy and delicious, but void of moisture. There was no offer of a jam, unfortunately. I ordered the croque madame, which is a sandwich with prosciutto, gruyere, bechamel, and fig mostarada on brioche, served with a salad. Due to medication interference i cannot have vitamin K whenever I want, so i got breakfast potatoes with it. The potatoes were out of this world fantastic! The sandwich, I subbed bacon for the prosciutto, and it was delightful! A bit salty, but made upon the ingredients, it was expected. I always thought a croque madame came with an egg on it, but theirs did not. The shrimp and grits were ordered by several people and the consensus was that there were not enough grits in the dish, making it a smaller portion than one would think. There was also some confusion bc one person asked for no tails on their shrimp What he meant was no shell, as some places give you shrimp that still have the tail portion of the shell attached and now you have to dig them out one by one and pull the shell off. They were able to grant his request and he was very happy about that! The French toast was ordered by two people and they enjoyed it, especially the orange Chantilly cream that came on the side. Two other people got the Southern Breakfast and said the spinach was phenomenal! The chicken was a little different than expected but everyone enjoyed their meal! Our server Chris was nice and professional but still personable. All around it was a great experience, although it was a tiny bit quieter than I would have liked, just because it makes a lull in conversation more awkward. Either way, five stars!

I heard of a white table cloth in the Woodbridge area so we went here to celebrate our anniversary and what a great experience we had! Our waiter was Luis who was exceptional. He was very attentive, always punctual throughout the entire time we were there. We ordered pork belly for starters, scallops and ribeye for main course, bourbon cake for dessert. The staff, the furniture/decor in the dining rooms and restroom, all add the to high-end experience. I would definitely come back for another occasion.

I have been to Bourbon & Fig numerous times since it's opened and the service is always outstanding! The food is wonderful and the atmosphere upscale. There is plenty of parking available as it is located in a strip mall right next to the Lake Ridge Library. Even when they are busy, staff is always extremely nice and the food is served promptly. Their wine selection is great and I highly recommend you try out their cocktails, the bourbon glazed short rib as appetizer and the coconut poached halibut. Before you put in your order you are served a starter bread with honey flavored butter which is absolutely delicious and really sets the tone for a lovely dinner! I would highly recommend you stop by if you are in the area.

Plenty of parking within the shopping center and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. We were asked to take a seat while the remainder of our party arrived and then we were escorted to the room in the back. Only a handful of tables in here and the noise from the main dining room carried over into this room but still a comfortable setting to be able to hear and talk. This was our first time here and had heard some great reviews. They were definitely busy and it did show a little within the service. Our server had come by, offered water and the cocktail menu (which we would have liked when we first sat down to look through). We were sat with their menu and the wine list. He explained the specials for the evening and we ordered our drinks (Smoked Bourbon & Fig Old Fashioned, Fig 95 & Pomegrante Bourbon Smash). Their cocktails are delicious. I don't usually enjoy Old Fashioneds but their version was very good and not overly powering. Definitely different than the normal cocktail. Our server mentioned a handful of times that bread was coming but we did notice that a table sat after us receive their bread about 5 minutes or so before ours. That being said, the bread and especially the two types of butter they brought were very good. They do offer additional bread and butter if you use it all. We ordered a few appetizers - the Charred Corn Croquettes, Grilled Octopus, and Beef Carpaccio. All the appetizers were delicious. The Croquettes were well made but nothing really out of the ordinary. Grilled Octopus had great flavor but this was a much smaller portion than anticipated. The Beef Carpaccio was delicious and we really enjoyed this. Our friends also enjoyed the Little Gems salad which they split for them. For our entrees, we ordered the Grilled Filet Mignon, Coconut Poached Halibut, and the Seared Culver Duck. The Coconut Poached Halibut was split for my friends and I was able to try some. The Halibut was cooked perfectly but with the crispy rice sitting in sauce, it was no longer crispy. It was more of a rice cake. The flavors were good though, the coconut wad not overpowering. Flavor of the duck was good but the carrots that came with it were undercooked and just a little tough to chew. The flavor was there but the texture could have been anlittle better. Filet Mignon was ordered medium rare and cooked beautifully as well. Asparagus and mashed potatoes were delicious. While the entrees were overall okay, we loved the appetizers and cocktails and would come back to try the rest of the menu. Food came out at a decent pace but service was a little inconsistent.

Nice but I expected more. What a great find nestled in hr corner of a shopping plaza. I was skeptical of what to expect when I pulled up but when I walked in was totally blown away. The decor was truly remarkable. I enjoyed how quaint things looked the very bespoke plates and design of the waiting area and bar. It was truly chic and classy. What a great Fusion. The food was interesting. I got the Wagyu strip steak, which when I ask, what was the grade? The server said it was a B that should've been my first pause and cause for concern, but I dismissed it. The composition of the dish interesting there were crispy potatoes, a top of the steak with a sauce when put together the crispy potatoes which more resemble potato chips became soft and soggy. The demi-glaze sauce was good, but the steak was not as I expected having had Wagyu steaks at many other fine dining restaurants. The appetizer was nice. I got the salad and the fried artichokes. The artichokes were amazing although the portion size of the salad and artichokes left a lot to be desired and certainly kept me hungry. The bread service was OK. I did appreciate the two different types of butter, one salted, and one with a bit of spice, but the bread itself despite being labeled as fresh from the oven was not warm and certainly not the softest it could be. The dessert was a different story. The toffee pudding was decent, although I was expecting more like the one at Hells Kitchen the crème brûlée totally overpowered by the chai taste, and the chocolate dessert did not have enough raspberry to balance out the bitter and sweet of how I assumed the dish was meant to represent. I ordered the additional scallops from the special but was later told the scallops were not being sold because they ran out. So I opted for the lobster tail, which was a bit of a disappointment because it was not served withdrawn butter, nor was it hot. It did, however, have a tremendous amount of old bay or seasoning that made it somewhat salty not terrible, but certainly not great. The service was good. The food was just as the young people say mid would I come back? Yes but maybe just for brunch.

It was our first time visiting Bourbon & Fig and we had an amazing experience. Kristina, our waitress, was very knowledgeable on the menu items and her service was excellent. We sat in the patio and it was quiet, clean, and decorated beautifully. The food was flavorful and Duck/Ribeye was tender. The mash potatoes were our favorite! The drinks were refreshing and delicious as well! My husband and I were very impressed and pleased. We will definitely be back.

Everyone in the area has been raving about this restaurant so I thought we'd check it out. I would give it a 3.5 if I could but def not 4 or 5 because of price and overall menu. The Ambiance was gorgeous. The fireplace and the decor around the restaurant was just beautiful I would love to pick the brain of the decorator, my goodness . We ordered beef carpaccio as an appetizer. It was very bland and honestly all I could taste was the salad dressing. There was not much richness in the beef and not much flavor. The hostess brought us two delicious rolls with a unique little butter spread. I enjoyed the cayenne flavored butter and it almost had a little smoky flavor to it. I always order steak or fish when I go out, but this time I decided to order the mushroom chicken Involtini with a side of spiced cauliflower. I was not impressed at all. I am not sure if the chef had puréed the chicken and rolled it up mixed with mushrooms then fried the chicken skin, but it had an almost pate taste that was not complimentary, I'm merely speculating as to how it was prepared it just didn't taste like chicken. The flavor did not present well. The butternut squash was undercooked and stiff, but the mashed potatoes were good. The green sauce on the bottom of the dish was flavorless and it just made the potatoes and butternut squash soggy. My husband got the Wagyu steak with crispy potatoes on top around an au jus. I tried his steak and It was amazing. Me and my husband are steak snobs and the chef did a great job. The tomato grits on the side were AMAZING. Our sides were Brussels sprouts and spiced cauliflower. The Brussels sprouts were delicious but the spiced cauliflower wasn't a good flavor to compliment both dishes. They were also undercooked. For dessert I got the chai crème brûlée and my husband got the olive oil lemon cake. The crème brûlée was good and definitely different. I enjoyed the pomegranate crunch. The lemon cake had a very distinct aftertaste that was almost olive oil overload that over powered the ice cream. I would give this restaurant another try for a romantic date night but I feel like the chef is all over the place with flavor and needs to revisit their menu options and make sure the flavors don't overlap into chaos. Another option is train your staff to know what goes well with what and confidently recommend specific side items so that you don't get reviews like this. I don't normally write "meh" reviews unless it's due, but they are just too expensive for this chaos lol. Don't be mad at me Bourbon and Fig!

Finally got the chance to check out Bourbon and Fig in Lakeridge! Let me start by saying--Woodbridge needed this. The restaurant has an upscale feel, and the florals throughout the space were absolutely gorgeous. The décor gives off a nostalgic, elevated vibe, almost like stepping into your grandmother's home for a fancy gathering. The dress code leans toward dressy casual, which matches the ambiance perfectly. The service was amazing. I couldn't decide what I wanted, and our waitress was incredibly patient and helpful with recommendations. I ended up ordering the bourbon-glazed short rib and the shrimp bisque. The short rib was good, but a bit fattier than I prefer, and it could've been served a little warmer. The shrimp bisque had great flavor, though the presentation felt a bit over the top--they brought out a bowl with a few shrimp and then poured the soup over it at the table. Not my style, but still tasty. Overall, I'd definitely return to try a different menu item.

First I would like to over pronounce that the service was impeccable. The seaters were friendly and professional. Luis was outstanding and made sure I had everything that I needed accompanied by well articulated explanation. The food was severely disappointing. I had really looked forward to trying this place but the octopus was cold , the halibut was dry and over cooked ( 20 years a pescatarian ), the sauce was over sister for a coconut broth, and the dessert was dry . I have no idea how you have dry dessert .

This is a must try for a delicious lunch or dinner. They opened 4 weeks ago and a fantastic addition to the area. The moment you walk through the door you'll be impressed! The motif, seating and bar area is impressive. The food is delicious. We tried the Bourbon and Fig Burger and it was a winner. The Steak Frites also an excellent choice. Its Wagu steak and was soft and tasty... medium is the way to go. They serve a starter bread with bacon/honey flavored butter. The bread was warm and soft. For dessert, try the Lemon Olive Oil cake. It's served with pistachio gelato... yum They have a full bar and great wine selection too. The espresso martini was a great drink with dessert. The service is impeccable the minute you walk in. The hostess was wonderful and our waiter too. The entire staff was attentive and served with a smile. Make dinner reservations or try to find open seating at the bar. They offer full service at the bar.

We went to B&F on a Friday for lunch. We arrived shortly after they opened and were promptly seated without a reservation. Beautiful restaurant. A very nice upscale vibe inside. Overall, the service was good. The food was okay. Nothing blew me away. I was looking for a wedge salad for my appetizer but they didn't have one. The Greek salad I ordered was not what I expected. That's nothing negative on the restaurant, just not what I expected. My salmon BLT was okay and hubby said his food was good. His portion looked small to me for the price but I guess that's what makes it "fancy." lol! Nothing negative but we've had better. Shout out to the server who brought bread to our table as he was number one for customer service. We had to check it out because it's a new place. We might return for dinner.

Shout out to Mya, our waitress who was super attentive, nice and informative. Outstanding recommendations. This was our first visit to Bourbon and Fig and it is now our special place! Every dish is well thought out and served fresh from kitchen to table. Lunch was so amazing we wooo be going back for dinner very soon.

I called earlier to ensure that I could cover the tab for a group that volunteered to assist in a cleanup that morning in the Town of Occoquan. I had to stop at another meeting down the road and rushed back and forth. The restaurant Manager, Heather, was very pleasant and kept me informed in order for me to be there before they left. Heather brought Kenny to meet me at the door as our table server. He was very courteous and terrific at providing a top tier service that I always receive here and expect wherever I spend my money when patronizing a business. I have always received great service from everyone here at all times and shifts of the day. The food has always been on par as well. I believe the crux of being here may be the veil of dismalness and lack of TLC. You can smell it and it isn't the poo in the river. When observing the restrooms, trash dumpster and overall condition of the dining room/bar areas, improvements can be made and escalate the business in more ways than they can imagine. To make money (for the owners and employees) you need to spend money. Menu is good and solid, keep the selection and quality. The drinks are more at the Tiki Bar than inside. The staff are terrific, keep the ones that enjoy being there and have the best ones like Kenny, Mike, Heather, and Lenny lead and manage staff and service. Someone independent needs to manage inventory. Money is being drained by too many freebies from the staff and could be used towards a decent toilet to sit on and stall doors to lock. There are great events that take place here like live bands, solo musicians, line dancing, karaoke and others. Bottom line, this restaurant should not have an empty seat and I look forward to more improvements and happy experiences here. +- parking ( handicap available) + service + food presentation/quality/flavor - restaurant and exterior condition

But I love y'all, so I'm going to put y'all on game. Admittedly, this spot does not look like much from the outside...but you know what they say about judging a book by its cover. It's definitely giving cabaret venue vibes (IYKYK), so I really wasn't sure what to expect. But this whole experience was a delightfully pleasant surprise. Our server Kamaria was absolutely wonderful. She has such amazing energy and we felt so welcomed. She recommended some of her favorite items from the a la carte menu, then invited us to proceed to the buffet. We decided to get an order each of the honey butter biscuits a la carte and now I got questions. I just want to know whose grandmother they have back there in that kitchen making them biscuits like that. Because those were some of THE best damn biscuits I've ever had. Easily the best biscuits I've had in the DMV. They were huge! Fluffy and chewy with a generous glazing of that absolutely divine honey butter. If you get nothing else from here, you NEED those biscuits. The buffet didn't look like it had much going on but again, looks are deceiving in this place. There were so many delicious options to choose from. Scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, bacon (both pork and turkey), shrimp and grits, chicken alfredo, jerk chicken wings, fried chicken wings, peach cobbler, sweet potatoes and a few other things I can't remember. If you didn't find anything you liked on this buffet, you were either vegan or just not hungry forreal. Every single thing that we ate was delicious. The jerk wings were perfectly cooked and had a nice kick to em. The fried wings were fried perfectly: crispy but not too hard, and seasoned just right. The chicken alfredo was probably my favorite. I don't think this place did anything particularly innovative or special with it, it was just delicious and well made. The sweet potatoes and peach cobbler were good but both could have used just a little bit more sweetening. I absolutely loved the shrimp and grits! Those grits were thick and creamy and the shrimp and sauce had a nice Cajun flare: a little kick and a whole lot of flavor. I'm not a pork eater so I was delighted at the turkey bacon. It was the thick cut bacon too! None of them skinny, scrawny strips. Oh, and of course there were bottomless mimosas. Kamaria made sure that our glasses stayed full. This spot offers three different kinds of juice for the mimosa: orange, pineapple, and I think the last one is cranberry. We both got the pineapple and we were not disappointed. There's also a DJ at brunch. He definitely helped set a vibe but what I really appreciate it is that the music wasn't too loud so we could enjoy it but still enjoy our conversation as well. This is easily my new favorite brunch spot. Good vibes, great food, bottomless drinks, no reservations... And no driving around the block dozens of times looking for a parking space. What more could a girl ask for?
