    North Atlantic Salmon

Good food and worth trying out. Of course, if you're familiar with Occitan, you'll know parking is a challenge. The staff are friendly enough and the setting is casual. I had the falafel platter and my wife had the salmon.

Was walking around the Occoquan area, and saw Zorba's, so decided to give it a try with a friend. Unfortunately, was quite disappointed. The Food: I went with the Chicken Souvlaki for my entree, and a Gazpacho for my appetizer. I was disappointed with how little effort they put into making the dish. I paid over $20 for a dish that was plain and bland, with very few pieces of chicken. The meat was cooked nicely though, tender. But for somewhat premium prices, I would've expected a little more effort into the dish. The Gazpacho tasted fine, but again, overly priced appetizer for a little amount of food. The Service: Service was decent. We were greeted when walking into the restaurant, and was sat down immediately. The staff were very nice and friendly, but the service itself wasn't on-par. It took longer than usual for our food to get out, and mind you, it was not busy during lunch. But our patience ran thin after about 35 minutes and when we saw the food, it was quite frustrating. The Atmosphere: The restaurant is nice and small. Has a decent amount of seating and is very well kept/clean. It's nicely decorated with simple decor. There's outdoor seating as well, if the weather permits. Overall, a 1/5. Not a fan of how overly priced the food was, compared to the quality and quantity of what you get.

We got the burger medium rare

Food was amazing and service was excellent and we got the mythos import beer paired with a good tasting burger with caramlized onions and gouda cheese the ambience of the place is amazing when you eat outside pets we saw were allowed on the outside patio and family friendly place as well.

We didn't think the food stood out as spectacular and was just ok Greek food. The menu online isn't the same as at the restaurant which was less options. The gyro tasted like you can get it anywhere. Service was slow even when we were the only ones there. Only one lady who seemed to be the wife was working. Cute location cute little house restaurant; casual ambiance.

Great tasting greek food, no complaints. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get in my opinion. The service was a bit slow, but shortly after we sat down there was a rush of people coming in and there was only one server, I won't be knocking down a star for this. We ate outside and the ambiance was wonderful. It's tucked backed in a little courtyard and felt super cozy. Definitely recommend!

Please give this family owned a chance to show how great their food is! They have fresh food, great service, simple ambience and a cute facade! The owners are very attentive to their customer's needs and very pleasant! I would really come back here for Greek cuisine that others near the area that are imitations of authentic food.

Ordered the mix grill, all the meat was perfect tender and seasoned. Cheesesteak and chicken pita were also great.

    Greek Sampler

I ordered through Door Dash. The positives were the dolmades in the sampler. That had great flavor. But that was about it. The rest of the sampler was blah, I would not recommend it. I definitely do not recommend the spanikopita, not sure how you mess up spinach and feta, but it wasn't good. I had the Pastitsio. It was ok. The meat flavor was what I expected. The pasta was fine. The sauce was fine. It didn't make me want to go back. Whatever you do - do not buy the Greek potatoes. Hard as a rock and they had no flavor. I have since read some of the reviews on here, and an overwhelming amount say the potatoes are undercooked, so I'm not sure what's wrong with the restaurant that they can't improve one simple thing that had been a complaint since they opened. I won't be ordering from here again. I hear the ambiance is nice - so maybe I'll stop by and have their dolmades and calamari - which I read in the reviews is really good. Cheers.

    I got the combination.

Deliciousness - 5/5 Happiness - 5/5…read more I've been here a few times now and always left happy and very full. The best Italian restaurant in the area hands down. This is definitely an old school Italian place, with dark wood furniture and oversized pasta portions (no complaints from me on that!). The pasta is always cooked exactly right (it's really hard to do pappardelle right as it's such a big noodle and can easily become a wet mess that tears apart on your fork, but each noodle here stayed together and didn't break apart), and the sauces are distinct and flavorful. From the standard sauces like alfredo, to the unique like a lamb ragout, they have deep flavor that keeps you eating until your stomach says no. The waiter was friendly and attentive, engaging my kids as much as me. We also went with the bruschetta, which was tasty (particularly the mozzarella) but I wish had at least one more slice of bread to serve as an appetizer for four. I wasn't overly impressed with the mixed drinks, but I didn't go there for that either.

From the staff who took our reservation, she was so polite, and concerned if we had any issues that they should be aware of; which we did, we had two with mobility issues, so she made sure we were seated on the first level. We sat on the patio which was a great idea, beautiful outdoor dining area. Our waitress was great, she had full knowledge of the menu and made great recommendations, from appetizers to entrees. We started our experience with orders of the arancini filled with bolognese with peas and mozzarella , Zeppoles with prosciutto and hot honey drizzle, fried artichokes with a garlic aioli, and the house meatballs topped with mozzarella and baked. They were awesome! Deliciousness in every bite! On to our entrees, I ordered the spicy seafood pasta, mussels, shrimp and scallops over homemade tagliatelle with a spicy marinara sauce. The stuffed gnocchi, light fluffy pillows of pasta stuffed with Asiago cheese with a sun dried tomato cream sauce. Chicken Milanese topped with a lemon butter sauce and a tomato conserva and arugula salad. Rigatoni ala Vodka. And our final dish sausage ragu bianco, homemade radiatorre pasta in a spicy sausage ragu sauce. All of the entrees were phenomenal, we each tried some of each!!! We ended our meal with the best Tiramisu we've had in a long time, Basque cheesecake, and a cannoli. From start to finish we were blown away! As we pulled into the parking lot, it looked very busy. There were a lot of people standing outside and several near the entrance. As we got closer, we realized most of them were actually leaving, which was a good sign. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated right away. As it turned out, the gentleman who seated us was also our server. He brought us water and an iced tea while we looked over the menu. We decided to start with the fresh baby kale salad from the specials menu. It included fresh apples, pears, blue cheese, pecans, and a delicious vinaigrette. Shortly after, our server returned with bread and took our dinner order. My wife ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and I ordered the Lamb Ragu special with homemade pasta. The salad arrived looking beautiful, and it tasted just as good as it looked. The apples and pears were fresh, sweet, and cut perfectly. The vinaigrette complemented everything without overpowering the ingredients. It was a great start to the meal. One thing I really appreciated was that our entrées didn't come out immediately after we finished the salad. We had a chance to relax and enjoy the evening. Sometimes a salad can fill you up, so it was nice to have a little break before the main course arrived. When our meals came out, both dishes looked amazing. Our server offered additional cheese for the pasta dishes. My wife added a little to hers, but I wanted to experience the Lamb Ragu exactly as the chef intended. The Fettuccine Alfredo was excellent. You could tell they use fresh cream, cheese, and butter to make the sauce. It was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. My Lamb Ragu was outstanding. The lamb was incredibly tender, and the sauce paired perfectly with the homemade pasta. I cleaned my plate. For dessert, we shared a slice of lemon cheesecake. My advice: don't share it--get your own slice. It was that good. The coffee was excellent as well and was the perfect way to finish the meal. We can't wait to return. The food here is consistently amazing, and the service is top-notch. What really stood out was the teamwork among the staff. You don't just have one server taking care of you. If our tea or water was getting low, someone was always there to refill it. Excellent food, excellent service, and a wonderful dining experience from start to finish.

So we drove a good 30mins to get here, with anticipation from seeing this restaurant on a travel channel, but the original location is in NY. We get there, and its plenty of free parking. We ask for seating for 3 and we are told they are only seating individuals who booked a reservation. Totally understandable considering its Valentine's day. I dropped the ball folks. I didn't make a reservation. So I noticed a bar lounge which we were told we could wait for a seat to open up. As we were waiting a coupled jumped in front us and took a seat. The manager Claudia came to the rescue like the dark knight but with more grace. She mentioned she was willing to put us on the list for a table in the main dining area. I accepted her kind gesture and continued to wait for bar lounge seating to open up. A couple was kind enough to come over to us and ask if we were waiting for bar lounge seating. They offered their table to us as they were ending their night. There was a 2 man band playing in the lounge area that was very soothing to the ear. As I tried to help my mother get comfortable at the hightop table, I noticed she was having a difficult time getting seated in such a high chair. Guess who came to the rescue, you guessed, Claudia! She's the best, 100 grand, made me a real fan. So she came over and said our table was ready if we wanted a booth seating and we all know that's the best seats in the house. All I could think is look at God. The wait wasn't even long either. 10 out of 10 for saving the day. In addition our waitress was such a sweetheart. I mentioned a white malbec I saw on the menu that I was astonish to see b/c I never knew of such a thing. She bought me a small glass to taste and my God, I am a true believer Jesus turned water into wine. Its so clear like water but the taste is amazing. The food is so delicious. The restaurant is very clean. The staff is very personalable. Everyone cartered to us. You would have thought we were the Obamas or something. As we were stuffing our faces, Claudia comes around handing out roses to the men/boys to give to their dates. Complimenting my son and his daper outfit she hands him a rose and tells him to give it your mommy. At the moment he lights up with a big smile as if he paid for the rose himself. I can tell he felt like a gentleman and good that he could give his mother a red rose on Valentine's day. That small gesture was very thoughtful and appreciated. I apologize for my essay, but they desired it. I love the service, the ambiance, the food, and service. I haven't seen my mother smile so much in a while. So it bought me great joy to give my mother this experience on Valentine's day. I thank Nonna Angela's staff for such a wonderful experience.

I'm usually not a white wine drinker, but my fiancé ordered a glass of Terre d'Abruzzo Pecorino, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was incredibly crisp, bright, and refreshing--one of the rare white wines I'd happily order myself. For dinner, we had the Il Misto in garlic sauce and the Linguini Vongole in garlic sauce. A fun touch was that they come around with freshly grated Parmesan and will keep sprinkling it until you tell them to stop. The Il Misto was loaded with a generous variety of seafood, and the garlic sauce leaned creamy without feeling too heavy. The Linguini Vongole was equally enjoyable--the clams tasted fresh with a pleasantly briny flavor that wasn't overly "fishy," and the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente.
