Deviled eggs - Chipotle and Wasabi. Amazing!!
    Heather R.

My go- to for some quiet comfort indulgence or break from the hustle and bustle. No matter the time of day or busy moments, the service and food quality has been consistently good as well as the signature cocktails. They are proud mixologists as well. One of the few in Prince William County. I value the places that value me as a customer. They have a great owner and it clearly shows that they enjoy everyone that stops through to visit for a drink or some food. I have been to places where they treat the customer poorly or like a joke for some reason. Not here. All are welcome. Food. Their food is high quality and they offer special seasonal items. They play nice jams while you enjoy their delectable menu items in the restaurant, front, side or back ( river view) patios. They have a wine club you can subscribe to as well as special events you can sign up for. That information is available through email subscription. I really hate to give away my secret favorite spots, but it is time to give credit to whom it is due! + service and value of customers/attentiveness + food quality and portion + parking in the front and back (private lot) + scenic view from all patios Thank you, Bottle Stop for being one of the best places around!

We had an amazing evening, we went there to celebrate my birthday, we managed to find a table for 4 outside on the patio, we order most of the starters on the menu and a bottle of cote du Rhone white. Highly recommend on an evening of 80" degrees, and river view. service was amazing and we really felt looked after. Highly recommended!!

I always meant to capture a photo of the yucca but always forget because they're so yummy and eat them immediately as they arrive at the table. Don't know how they cook those yuccas so perfectly crisp on the outside but creamy on the inside. The ambiance is versatile here for family as I take my children but also suitable for date night. Also you must get the deviled eggs!

Underwhelmed is the overall theme of my experience here. It's a cute spot but the food was severely lacking flavor. Cocktails were good, charcuterie board was small but tasty, the Brussels were all crisp but all fallen apart. 2 in my party ordered the steak and mentioned it needed salt and must've been a very poor cut of meat. The lamb ragu sounded so good in theory but it did not have much flavor at all. Honestly the best thing I ate was the 2 little pieces of garlic bread it came with. If I were to come back, it'd only be for drinks and appetizers - maybe dessert since we didn't have any.

Casual but full of life - this place was hopping both Friday and Saturday evenings (and yes, I know that because we went twice) - first night was just for drinks they have a good martini list with some inventive concoctions - I had a variation on the bees knees and my husband opted for the espresso martini (his go to) both were well-balanced and went down way too easy! They have a pretty great whisky list too for being a wine bar with whisky flights if you are looking to try a few. Fries were good but the real stars were the entrees which we went back for on Saturday - delicious crab cakes - not a spot of filler did I find - and the chicken pot pie was nice and peppery and flavorful! Food and drinks were really very good, but the service honestly was even better - for one, they remembered us the second night and despite being extremely busy everyone was very attentive - I think it's a place where you feel like you belong - which is not always easy to find highly recommend for a nice, chill or even slightly romantic night out!

What a great little place. We did not order any food but we will the next time. Savannah is a great! We meet the owner Kim and she was amazing. We will be back.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing! The food was divine, I had the steak feet and I loved it. The staff were the sweetest. The overall vibe was awesome. I loved the lighting! We are going to be regulars!

I love Bottle Stop. Nestled in Occoquan, they offer delicious food and drink. I've sat inside and outside and I really like their outdoor area. Service has been great. Everyone is so friendly. I've had a wine flight and the smoked old-fashioned to drink, and enjoyed both. For food, the lamb ragu is filling and hearty. I love the yuca fries for an appetizer. And their mac and cheese is delectable. I got a dill vinaigrette on the side salad that really made the salad. I'm looking forward to returning more frequently, especially in the nice weather.

My friend and I went to celebrate her 80th birthday and I wanted everything to be so beautiful--and delicious--for her day. Bourbon & Fig fit the bill and exceeded my expectations. She noticed the rose on the table, the cover on the dainty sugar bowl, the steak knife resting on the edge of the blade (!), the pillow on the bench seating to separate us from the lovely couple next door, and the thistle on the wallpaper. I could go on, but I wouldn't have room for the food review! She practically swooned for the strawberry burrata salad. We both laughed at the "dirty" mashed potato (she thought it looked like a pine cone on the plate!), and artfully placed asparagus. We both had the filet mignon which was done just right for her--mine was ordered rare and didn't meet my standard: bleeding all over the plate but it was OK. Dessert was a dish of vanilla gelato with a sparkler for her and mine was--aaah, a chocolate dome--heaven. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Jackie, our server. A font of information about the restaurant, its origins, its owners, the food. She made our dinner such a wonderful experience. My friend has already made plans to lunch with her friends there! On another note: the support staff for the servers are mostly young people and we noted that they are receiving an outstanding education in the fine art of serving, clearing, and being unobtrusive. They are receiving an A-1 experience in the fine art of owning a topnotch restaurant. From beginning to end, thank you for making my friend's birthday one she thoroughly enjoyed. I'm SO glad we went. Reservations are going to be a must here, and better make them well ahead of time if you want them for a special occasion. Thank you, Bourbon & Fig for a spectacular dinner.

I had actually been to this bar twice before but since it is located IN the Alamo theater, I never got to try it because I would always open the main entrance door & see the theater employees & think I couldn't access Ghost Fleet (the bar) unless I purchased a movie ticket. Well, that isn't the case. I finally asked a theater employee who told me to just stay to the left & I could order from the bartender. I will say, for a bar located in a theater, I was shocked that GF has 25+ craft beers on tap & a few that I do recognize & enjoy!! Note: Happy Hour is available Monday to Friday from 4-7pm. The food here is average at best but still filling. The pizza is probably the best option for both portion size as well as price. Tip: You can make any pizza "Angry" (jalapeño, red chili flakes, & fresh basil) for $2 up charge. I ordered the Omnivore (Angry) because I was surprised to see that GF makes their own pizza crust in house?! The Omnivore comes with pepperoni, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, cheese, homemade marinara, Kalamata olives & red onions. It was a decent pie & definitely bigger than what I expected. Angry Omnivore = $15 + $2 (Angry). I also ordered the Kids size chicken tenders with fries. For 2 decent sized tenders & some fries, I suppose the $10 is on par with theater food costs... The chicken was surprisingly moist & tender. GF has an outdoor patio as well so one can enjoy a nice cold brew during the hot summer days & nights. The bartender was quite knowledgeable in each beer offered & did allow me to sample the Dark Hollow before I "fully committed" to ordering it. I felt $8 for a nice cold beer was worth it! I'm happy I at least got to try GF & when I'm in the mood for a stout or IPA, I'll definitely choose GF over the other eateries at Stonebridge that sell beer... Parking is ample & available on site. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area & want a nice cold beer. I do wish GF well.

The Spot at Belmont Bay is officially our new brunch problem!!!…read more We went to The Spot at Belmont Bay this past Sunday for brunch, and I'm just going to say it: this is the best brunch in the area. Not "pretty good for Woodbridge." Not "solid little neighborhood spot." I mean clear-your-calendar-because-you're-going-back good. We ordered the Breakfast Board for Two, and it was exactly what brunch should be: generous, fun, shareable, and absolutely loaded. Eggs, bacon, house-made sausage, smashed potatoes, Belgian waffles, biscuit, gravy (so good), fresh fruit, Greek parfait, and pastries of the day all showed up on one board like brunch had assembled the Avengers. And here's what makes it even better: everything is made from scratch. You can taste it. Even the sausage is made in-house, which explains why it stood out so much. The smashed potatoes were seasoned beautifully, the scrambled eggs were fluffy, the bacon had that perfect crispy edge, and the waffles were golden with just enough crunch. The biscuit was soft and buttery, and the cinnamon roll situation on the side had absolutely zero interest in helping anyone make responsible decisions. Respect. But the absolute star of the show was the spicy Bloody Mary. Best Bloody Mary I've ever had. Full stop. It had real zip, great spice, and that pickle salt rim took it completely over the top. Salty, briny, spicy, savory, it hit every note. Add the crispy bacon and lemon garnish = forget about it!! The drink menu is no joke either. They've got mimosa carafes, mimosa flights, sangria, margarita flights, brunch cocktails, dirty sodas, coffee drinks - basically, The Spot looked at brunch beverages and said, "Yes. All of it." We also had a mimosa, and it was bright, fresh, and exactly what you want sitting next to a big brunch board. We also had the chance to meet the owners, and they were fantastic. Warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they're building. That makes such a difference. You can tell when a place has real people behind it who care about the food, the service, and the vibe. The Spot absolutely has that. I liked it so much that I'm already going back for their bourbon tasting Saturday night, and then again for their Father's Day brunch on Sunday. Great food, great drinks, great owners, great atmosphere, and scratch-made brunch that actually delivers. The Spot at Belmont Bay is a winner. The corn fritter appetizer with hot honey was good. The fish sandwich and crab sandwich (on stale, grill pressed brioche) were just edible and extremely overpriced. This is the first time I couldn't bite through a potato chip!!! When the server finally came back to ask how our food was, and I tried to explain why it was inedible, I was at loss for the right word and he provided it - stale. Guessing this was not the first time he'd had a complaint, but to his credit, he brought each of us an order of onion rings "on the house" (why that would be I don't know since the chips were included with the sandwich - probably an up charge substitution). They were hot but not much else to recommend them. The venue was kind of musty and though we were seated at a window as requested for the river view, the middle window was so dirty you couldn't really see clearly through it. For a downtown riverfront Occoquan location, this was shockingly horrible.

This is definitely an old school Italian place, with dark wood furniture and oversized pasta portions (no complaints from me on that!). The pasta is always cooked exactly right (it's really hard to do pappardelle right as it's such a big noodle and can easily become a wet mess that tears apart on your fork, but each noodle here stayed together and didn't break apart), and the sauces are distinct and flavorful. From the standard sauces like alfredo, to the unique like a lamb ragout, they have deep flavor that keeps you eating until your stomach says no. The waiter was friendly and attentive, engaging my kids as much as me. We also went with the bruschetta, which was tasty (particularly the mozzarella) but I wish had at least one more slice of bread to serve as an appetizer for four. I wasn't overly impressed with the mixed drinks, but I didn't go there for that either.

This place keeps the Belgian brews stocked across the spectrum. From fruity Lambics to Tripels (my personal fave) and Quadrupels, pales to darks. There's a lot to explore here. The food is pretty good too. The frites (fries) are excellent and pair well with the beer. They are thick without veering into steak fry territory, nicely crunchy, and packed with a pleasing amount of salt (and I believe a hint of vinegar). The waffles are also a standout, typically topped with light and airy cream. The merguez lamb sausage is also hearty and delicious. I wish the building itself was larger. There's only a few tables, meaning you may be in for a wait if you go during the colder months. And I recently had the chocolate mousse and didn't care for it. It was much more akin to pudding, and there wasn't a deep enough chocolate flavor to contrast with the whipped cream. There's no better place I've found in Occoquan to eat, drink, and be merry. I highly recommend you stop here when you visit.
