Stopped in for some food and fun place to watch the USA World Cup match! Got there 30 mins before kickoff and it was packed already. Atmosphere was fun and you can tell there's a lot of regulars there. Plenty of tvs to watch the game too. For food we got the wings, bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers, and the Hat Trick. Everything was cooked well. My favorite was the jalapeño poppers. The wings were on the bigger side which made it slightly unappetizing but still good standard wings. It's a nice little neighborhood bar and grill. Unfortunately, when we went, there was only one waitress/bartender/to go person. Needless to say, the service was a little slow and the drinks were weak (and was ordering doubles). Now my Parmesan pretzel, came out in no time. It was not bad....exactly what you'd expect from a local sports bar. I'll return, but I would definitely just be ordering a beer. Which, coincidentally, was the first drink that I ordered. A Busch Light on tap, with a couple of olives in it. I asked for olives, on three separate occasions, and finally gave up on getting them and switched to mixed drinks.... I used to come here exclusively for nachos because melted queso beats melted shredded cheese every time. This is the only spot that had nachos how I like, so I really only go for nachos. I normally have the same server and she's so cool. I really like her and I think she's great! Unfortunately, the last two times I've been there was a hair in my nachos): and like, my hair type is super obvious, so I can discern whether or not it's mine pretty easily. She was so kind about it both times, I just feel like if I keep going back to be met with the same fate, I would be insane by definition. The energy there is super high and people have fun! I am frustratingly picky, but I was impressed with the food I got. I don't remember the name, something sports related, but it was six skewers of beef, chicken, and shrimp, 2 each. They were well seasoned and cooked just enough, but not dried out. One of the bar tenders is a man and I don't know his name but when I sat down he knew what I was going to order and had it ready before I could ask. Kinda cool. I've only been here three times. Had brunch there today as we had heard great things about it. Those rumors were spot on. There is plenty of safe private parking and it's in a nice area. The parking lot, the exterior and the interior of the building are clean and well maintained. It's bright, cheery and has a dozen televisions to watch sporting events. This would be a great place to take a large group of people to watch the superbowl or other such sporting event. Our food was incredible. I had the breakfast quesadilla and it was huge and perfectly prepared. Much more than I could eat in a sitting. My wife ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich and it was equally huge and quite tasty. The portions are huge and well worth the money. The fries were slightly over cooked but still quite good. Our waitress, Melissa, was upbeat, chatty and efficient. Go-to sports bar in River Point. Right on the South Platte River, so it's a great lunch stop for any biking excursion. Lots of screens, lots of beers. The cuisine is well-executed bar food. We had to flag a server down after sitting for 15 minutes (main reason for the 3 star review) to take our order! Food took a little longer than expected and one dish on the order was mixed up, manager did come over and apologize and was sincere about it, it was extremely busy and we're all humans so I'm not going to be too harsh. I've been traveling the USA the past 10 months and this is the best sports bar I've EVER been. The open concept so any person can be seen is absolutely amazing. Every worker is a full worker as in they get your drinks fast since anyone is a bartender. It's a busy Sunday for football and i never waited for anything and the food came fast and tasty. What in the world happened to this place. I used to regular this place a few years ago, and I understand that a pandemic happened, but that experience was god aweful. Firstly, I ordered the pineapple jalapeños margarita. Muddled pineapple and jalapeños with expired lime juice and tequila some where in there. Undrinkable. Second the food. Ordered the hat tricked grilled and a jumbo soft pretzel. Meat was all chewy off the grill. The fries tasted as if they were cooked in oil to cook fish and chips. The pretzel was doughy and the quest on the side wasn't pleasent at all. Lastly, sitting there and viewing the staff work, and also eat at there station without washing hands. A few went out to smoke and do other things, but it was apparently that health and safety standards are not being met. Will not be returning. Such a shame. Place used to be great read more

My wife thought this was a fish restaurant for the longest time because the logo looks like a shrimp (it's a boxing glove). Anyway, we finally made it in here and it's actually a sports bar with 10 locations. The service was great on a Sunday afternoon, the server even remembered our complicated order after getting interrupted by another patron on her way back to the bar (she didn't need to write it down). The Original Chubby Melt is the most amazing cheeseburger of it's type I've ever had. 2 grilled cheese sandwiches over a burger made to order. Next time I might try cheddar and bacon added on. I've been here many times now and realized I hadn't posted a review yet. This is actually a small chain - but I've only visited this location. First - I went here primarily because they have free trivia (NTN or Buzztime or whatever network it is) all the time. Just ask for the tablet and you can join and play. They have a good range of drinks, including some custom cocktails, and some seasonal/holiday specific drinks (and food), including Mardi Gras specials right now. This place has a pretty impressive menu for a bar & grill. In fact, some so much of the food sounds so good, it's hard to make a decision sometime. I've been running through trying new things every time I visit including appetizers - I'll say that some things have been great, some less so. Portion sizes have always been very generous, and they've been generous if, e.g., anything was missing or different than the menu description. I've learned not to ask them if something is good though - everything is always good per responses :). Sandwiches are pretty good. I should have been doing regular updates to rate each one - but I remember the Reuben and one combo steak/cheese/french dip was very good. Chicken sandwiches and/or sliders were also very good. Burgers have been good, including one ridiculous sounding one that has grilled cheese as buns (though I was hoping for better overall experience on that one that I got). Generous fries, toppings. My wife even tried the Impossible Burger option which was very good. Appetizers have all been pretty good or great - the one exception was the bacon-wrapped olives, which sounded great, but I didn't finish them. My wife thought they were too salty, and I thought they were too olive-y. The ranch dressing they were served with helped though. I tried pizza last, as the sandwiches all sounded better. I was in the mood for pizza last visit though and so ordered a custom 14 inch with sausage, pepperoni, ham, and onions. It was big, hand tossed crust. The middle crust was pretty soggy though, and pizza was just ok. Would maybe try one of their custom options in the future, but would really have to be in the mood for pizza vs. any of the sandwich options. read more

I miss Bennigan's Monte Cristo and heard Bout Time was bout as close as you could get. It was very good but I was not a fan of the jam they served with it. Ever walk into a sports bar at 11:00 on Sunday and it's deserted and you wonder why? Could be the absence (not lack) of service. Our visit started just fine, first two cocktails and food (Bavarian pretzel and monte cristo egg rolls) arrived and were well made. Then our server pulled a Houdini and vanished into thin air. We shared the fried pickle chips and a reuben sandwich with onion rings. The fried pickles were average. What totally made them delicious was the jalapeno dip that accompanied them. That dip was great! My husband said it was even better with the onion rings. The reuben sandwich was perfectly toasty and after adding a side of horseradish it was perfectly tasty.
