After a year or so of driving by, today I finally stopped in for a pedicure. I am so glad I did! Holly took care of me and made me super relaxed! I had been neglecting my feet ever since my daughter was born and she turned them back into tip top shape! I'm not longer embarrassed to walk around in my flip flops! Just in time for winter lol! I tried this place today after being unhappy with the last place I'd been going to. I'm very happy I did! They were very friendly and accommodating. Tina was so sweet to me and did a very through job on my pedicure. I especially appreciated the calming music like I've heard played when I've gotten massages before. Also the temperature was perfect, which was great as it was a very hot day! I've been to some places where they've left the doors open on hot days and the fans blowing on high, and that really aggravates my asthma! I'm very thankful for such a pleasant experience! read more

My friend had a gift certificate her so I went with her to get our nails done. It took them a total of 3 hours to actually get our nails done. First we were walk ins and waited an hour and a half so we decided to come back and make an appointment later that day after we ran an errand. When we came back for our "appointments" we had to wait another hour and a half. My friend was seated first and I was told it was only going to be 5 more minutes after 20 minutes and a pedi walk in passed my friend and I were getting upset that we weren't getting our nails done together. So the lady offered to have my nails done for half price. I agreed and as I went to pay she said it would be 30...all i got were arcylics with gel painted over them. So I got ripped off and a week later my nail literally just fell off without any rhyme or reason. If you're looking for a decent nail place do not go here. read more

HORRIBLE!! I went got my nails done went home 3 of them broke immediately later that night. Went back the next morning to get them fixed they made me wait for the same girl to get to work because no one else wanted to fix them! Finally an hour and a half later I get the 3 fixed! That day by the end of my baby shower 2 broke off again! And the next day a third one broke. Literally it's been 5 days and 3 have broken and the other ones are all lifting! I paid $30 for nothing! Oh and Mind you when I called the day before I went and set an appt with the owner and got there and the owner stuck me with another girl because a regular had come in and wanted her to do a pedicure! And the owner thought I wouldn't notice and when I talked to the owner the day I scheduled my appt I was told it would only be $20. The other girl that did my nails upcharged me to $30!! Shady place! Extremely unhappy with the customer service my daughter and I received. We had scheduled appointments and staff did not honor my daughter's appointment. They took me in right away; however, my daughter waited 1 1/2 hour to get a full set - all the while staff took pedi walk-ins. This is by far my favorite nails & spa place. I love the whole staff. I have tried a few nail places but they are the best. My favorite are Holly, Bella & Jason. They are all so friendly here! If you're looking for some pampering this is the place to go! The quality here is the best. They do the best pedicures here which include hot stones and hot towels and also the callus removal. First time here, came for a pedicure...OMG I'm in heaven!! Bee did my pedicure and I've been getting pedicures for years and I can honestly say this is the best pefi I have ever had. This place is GREAT! I took my girlfriend here to surprise her with a mani-pedi (because im a great boyfriend like that). And it looks great inside, it's under new management and they have totally redecorated this place! They even offered her wine (free wine when you spend a certain amount). Prices were fair and my girlfriend was really happy with their work. They have a nice couch there for us guys who have to wait. I walked out of my service due to what my tech did, due to state board violations within the first 8 minutes of my service. My pedicure was great, good massage and the water was nice and hot, not lukewarm like a lot of other places. Manicure was not so good.... The girl sliced my index finger with the nail file, ouch! She globbed the polish on and it looks sloppy, I could have done better at home I think. I'll be back for another pedicure and maybe a mani, but not from Marnie! Sarah Lynn is a GEM!!! Mom and I came in on a Saturday afternoon so of course it was busy. I came in for a pedicure and gel mani and omg I hit the jackpot! Sarah was the girl who did both services for me. Not only is she service oriented, but she is sweet and takes a ton of pride in her work. She kept apologizing for being "slower" however she had no reason to be sorry because she does an AMAZING job. The dont sanitize their tools. I got an infection on my big toe from a pedicure and my foots still swollen and puss is comming out of it. Go some where where they sanitize there tools!!! My toe hurts so bad i would never want anyone to go through this pain! read more

I have super (pathetically short) nails. Most nail salons never seem to get it right. One day I noticed my clients perfectly polished (equally short) nails and asked where she'd had them done. Later that evening I pay Boutique Nails a visit (10 minutes to close) and didn't expect to get in - but was pleasantly surprised with a yes. BEST manicure I've ever had. I'm sad to say this place is not what it use to be. I don't know what happened. I moved away and the last two times I drove an hour out of my way to come here, I was disappointed. The last time, an older gentleman did my pedicure...he didn't pay attention...it was painful and he cut me. I literally could not wait for it to end. I decided to give it another try today because I have literally been going here for years. A younger girl did my pedicure. (Unfortunately Cathy retired, she was the best) this girl did my salt scrub, the lotion, massage and hot rocks in 5 minutes total! I timed her. Seriously? Not what I'm used to. Cathy used to give me 45-1 hour from start to finish. This girl rushed through everything like she had somewhere to go, I was so disappointed. She put the salt scrub on, wiped it off. Lotion on, wiped it off...it was a joke. I wanted to ask for someone else to take over. Too late, I will never return. Like I said, I moved an hour away...for me to come here was out of loyalty. The only reason I gave them three stars was the girl that did my full set of acrylic nails did a great job. She was very personable and took her time even though she had visitors in town coming to see her. If it wasn't for the girl doing a half ass job on my pedicure, I would probably come back but now I will find a place closer to home. Sorry Boutique nails and spa, it's been nice. read more

i love this place! i won't go anywhere else in modesto. i just like how they treat you here. other places, they ignore you or they don't talk to you while doing the services or they make you wait forever... but this place is so chill. the workers are so sweet and they have pretty reasonable prices. plus they do amazing work and give you one heck of a foot or back or leg massage and actually take their time and make sure you leave a happy customer. i will always recommend this place to anyone read more

I like getting pedicures here but this time i got my nails done i told them i just want regular arcylics with regular gold polish even told the guy that works there that and told me the prices of acrylics then put me with the indian lady that works there she did put the gold polish on but added gel which i didnt want and charged me $15 extra i told her i didnt want that and she tried to say "you even asked your mom if u wanted this one" no i said just gold polish not gel never did i say that i asked my mom what she thought of the gold polish and tried to put words in my mouth that i didnt say i never had issues with them until i got my nails done by that lady and was charged for something i didnt ask for other then that never did i have issues with them i liked getting my nails done here until i went to the indian lady everyone seems nice until that incident make sure you confirm the price before getting any procedure done here to make sure you dont get over charged or get something you didnt ask for and one of the employees was oh well gel is better i was like thats not the point,the point is your trying to charge me for something i didnt want all that employee said was sorry and didn't fix that error her employee did and the indian female didn't even appologize,me and my mom were gonna tip them good but ended up giving no tip for trying to charge more other then this i really like the pedicure and nails were fine i felt she did them a bit thick and could of been shaped better but it wasnt horrible they were okay, i liked the asian people that did me and my moms pedicures. read more

I will never come back again!! Walked in yesterday for a pedicure and for my god daughters acrylic nails . We were there for almost 3 hours! They set me in the tub and started my toes . Worst pedicure ever ! They were trading me off after the guy cut me! The polish job was sloppy and a mess... My boyfriend even commented on it .. Then when my goddaughter got her nails done after waiting almost an hour they started her and towards the end of the service he broke one of her nails and superglued it back on!! I paid 65 for horrible nails !!! Plus charged me a dollar for using my cc! I will never come back!!!! read more

Its a cute little place and they gave free wine one day when i went there to get a pedicure and the pedicure was really good but i will not be returning due to the fact that as I was getting my last pedicure i watched them finish with somebody and move somebody else in without cleaning at all! they didn't scrub or even try washing out the sink, they just filled it up and started the next person. This happened a few times throughout my pedicure & i know that you can get all kinds of issues from a nail place being unsanitary especially if they cut you which can happen very easily! read more

Made an appointment for 5:30, was there at 5:30 to have acrylic nails removed. I called in advance to schedule this appointment as I am getting a tooth extraction tomorrow that required I not have nail polish etc removed before my surgery. BIG MISTAKE in waiting until the last minute as I had to deal with this place. I saw countless examples of the employees mishandling the time of others. After keeping me waiting for nearly 30 minutes, one employee asked if I could come back tomorrow and she would remove my nails for free. I explained my situation and told her I understood they had a lot going on but that is why I called in advance and this could not wait. She put my hands in a bowl of nail polish remover and had me sit there another 20 minutes at which time I saw the man answering the phone telling people he could see them at 7, which is the time they closed. It looks like it was a party of his family that had come in which were serviced before anyone else. I saw 4 people WITH APPOINTMENTS told they had to wait 15 minutes, and just like me, it was longer than this. I rushed over after work so as to not keep them waiting. When the woman who had me soak my fingers came to finally remove my acrylics, she kept getting up and going to the back. I should mention I also have an 8 page paper due tomorrow night that I still have a bit to go on. Again, not their fault but their shotty time management, absolutely on them. I felt bad for the employees having to explain to people with an appointment about the wait and dealing with the attitude of upset customers while the guy who was answering the phone would just say yeah come on in. They even helped one of his family members who got there after me. Finally, after almost an hour of being there, I had had enough and just got up and left. The woman who was helping called out to me and asked if I was leaving as I'm halfway out to my car. Needless to say, I will not be returning for any kind of services here and encourage anyone who has a timed schedule to reconsider taking their business here. I don't like giving bad reviews but after all the wait and watching them turn people away as a result of their poor time management, I feel that it is my duty to warn people who see that they are open until 7 and think about coming in before that just because they're open to reconsider and go somewhere else. read more

I have came in here before for my nails and they did alright. But this time I came in with hopes of getting my nails the way I wanted. My sister and I came in with enough time to get 2 full sets. But they kept us waiting for a good 20 min until someone finally helped us. I love this place! First time here yesterday. Jason gave me the best pedicure and also included reflexology on my feet. The hot rocks and salt were a welcomed surprise. What a bargain for less than 25$. Holly gave me a shellac manicure in a beautiful red sparkle. No messiness to the red polish at all. Very friendly and quick. Oh and I won't forget to tell you about the neck massage Holly gave me while my nails were drying. I didn't even ask for a massage! What an awesome surprise!
