I had to find a new groomer that was in closer proximity to my residence and I realized they were right across the street. I called and spoke to Josie (sorry for spelling) and she was extremely courteous and helpful. I have a big German Shepherd (Schutzhund level I) and although he is old and well behaved-- he can be intense. Michael was super friendly and did a great job working on my pup. Mojo has a thick double coat with lots of hair, but he looked and smelled great. I read Josie does the brush-out which I really appreciated, because Mojo is a shedding beast. They spent a lot of time and he was throughly clean-- which is so important when you have a big dog in a small apartment. Overall, I'd highly recommend. Josie and Michael are the type of people: A) that provide a top quality service and take pride in their work , and B) you feel 100% safe to entrust with your precious pet. read more

I've loved taking my 8 year old toy poodle Tilley to Bow and Wow Grooming for the past 3 years. They've done a great job every month with my little girl who can be kind of grumpy and has a bum knee joint that is tender for her. Still Josie and Michael and the other groomers do a great job managing her attitude and quirks and she comes out happy and cute and perfectly groomed. Would definitely recommend! Sad we're moving out of state otherwise we'd still be going here. 100/10 read more

They reported my review and that just shows how they hide certain things about this place. You book with one person and you show up and someone else is taking care of your dog. (Even after multiple times of me mentioning that's not something I want) Instead of apologizing is better to ignore the problem. I would show up and some how they always made it seemed like the person i requested was taking care of my dog but as soon as i left my dog was handed to someone else. As someone with an anxious rescue this is a big no. they should know that. Your dog needs to stay with the same person to eventually feel comfortable. They can even become aggressive over time because they are so scared. Not jumping between people against the owners wishes. That's just not ok and dishonest. It shows they don't know much about dogs either. Advice: would be helpful to write all the details under each persons name and let the owner of each dog decide what they wanna do. read more

Josie and her lovely husband Michael are AMAZING! They really care about your so much. They are always professional and always have a smile in their face. They moved to a bigger space across the street and up half a block up. The new space is just as welcoming as the original one. They do an excellent job on my dog EVERY time. Always consistent. My dog is so anxious going to any other groomer, he's so much calmer when I bring him here; they treat him so well. The costs are reasonable, especially when compared to other groomers in the area, plus the quality of service is great. They have a good appointment system and never keep my dog waiting afterward or delay the service (the way so many groomers do). Worst dog grooming experience in 20 years of taking dogs to the groomer. I was so excited to support this small business during their opening, but was terribly disappointed today when I was charged $115 for a terrible and uneven cut on my maltipoo. I understood that he was severely matted, especially because of the rain and his long coat but the grooming job was the worst I've ever seen. As a business owner, I called the owner to try to make it right and communicated my concerns. She was combative and unwilling to make the situation, right and just kept going on and I'm trying to justify the charges. She offered to cut his hair again to make it more even but it is completely ruined, and not fixable at this point. I asked for a partial wheat refund, and she was unwilling to give me any type of refund or service in the future to make it right. I gave her an opportunity to make the situation, right that's why I'm sad to have to write this review but it is my responsibility to notify others of these unethical, business practices and horrible customer service. DO NOT support this business unless you want to be overcharged and your pet have a terrible grooming experience and support a lack of consideration for customer service, and fairness.. read more

You guys need to fix your location online. I will say I called for a walk in and the man on the phone told me if I made it in 10 mins they would take me: it was just up the street. My dog has hip dysplasia and it's hard for him to walk long distances but, I called back to back because I was confused. The man on the phone was talking to me like I was stupid. I think his name was Michael. I was getting frustrated because when the GPS that is labeled as your location isn't correct. Of course anyone would be frustrated. I was already having a bad day but walking up and down the street with my dog who literally is handicapped and being talked to like I'm stupid is very frustrating.
