I love bringing Lola here. I have been coming here for over a year now. Lola use to be terrified of groomers to the point of trembling, everytime I bring her here although she's not the biggest fan, I can see she's a lot more calm. she always come back to me happy and smelling great. I am SO glad I found Manuela!!! It's taken years for me to find someone in LA that can properly groom my little King Cav mix. His fur grows so fast and without proper grooming can grow very weirdly across parts of his body. Teddy is a 15lb, tripod who is well versed in grooming but, again has a challenging cut for most LA groomers. Manuela figured him out in ONE visit! Which is unheard of and even my vet commented on how well groomed he is and she had hundreds of clients, so that's a big compliment in my books. My polar opposite pup is a 110lb, 16mo Great Dane who has minimal (and rough) experiences with past groomers. Manuela has treated Lilith with such kindness and knows how crazy she gets when I come to get her she has managed to make Lilith comfortable, trim her nails properly, and even when in her first heat and desperately needed a bath helped me out. I have not found a groomer in my collected 11 years in the valley that I would recommend above Manuela and her team. They love their clients, listen to their wants and needs (dog + parent), and is so accommodating. I hate giving away the best kept secrets but Spawt On is one of the valleys best dog spots, period and I'd be denying business to one that deserves it by not sharing. read more

UPDATE: The owner called me back to apologize for what happened and acknowledge that this does not meet her standards. She offered to refund me. Adding a star for this communication and willingness to try to make it right. Nice folks and a great place for JUST a sanitary cut, but this was my first time doing a full grooming, and I'm really bummed that whoever did my boy with his beautiful, long, bushy tail, completely butchered said tail. He was in need of detangling to be sure. But to simply CUT OUT the tangles in random spots along his tail and leave this mess is shocking. The hair on his tail doesn't grow like the rest of his body and this will take at least a year to just even out. He's 11 years old and likely won't live long enough for it to ever grow back to what it was. Nothing can be done and I'm grateful it's nothing worse than his tail. In the scheme of things it may be a small thing to sweat. Just feeling pretty bummed. So if you have a dog with a tangled, long, bushy tail, and you want to keep their tail long and bushy, stick to their sanitary cut only. On that they are a fine option. read more

But, Yelp let me tell youuu....I'm with my dog almost 24/7 and I get anxious with groomers possibly treating my dog badly or accidentally cutting her. Nope not here. All good vibes no accidents strong! Yay! They do an amazing job with my senior dog and I'm comfortable taking her here once a month. He'll yeah I recommend them, they were very welcoming and did great work on the two pugs I dog sat for some friends. I enjoyed the pugs in my care for 3 days I had to treat them and this business executed it. They even sprayed perfume on them that was so good, I looked like a fool constantly picking them up to smell them. The dogs never showed any distress and were returned safely like they were dropped off. Even other dogs there didn't show any distress during and after grooming. Several months ago, I found Manuela through Instagram and I messaged her about booking an appointment for my aunt's dog, Benji. My aunt was having trouble finding a good dog groomer that she liked and had fair pricing so I set out to find one for her. Manuela was sweet and said she'd groom him at the dog salon she was working at. We gave Manuela a shot and we were not disappointed in the slightest! Benji came out perfect and we love Manuela's work. Since then, Manuela was able to open her own dog grooming salon and we've followed her since.
