I love bringing Lola here. I have been coming here for over a year now. Lola use to be terrified of groomers to the point of trembling, everytime I bring her here although she's not the biggest fan, I can see she's a lot more calm. she always come back to me happy and smelling great. I've been trying to find a groomer and found this one through Yelp. The parking lot is a little annoying but that would be my only complaint. My dogs look great after their cuts and when I talk to the owner she mentioned getting "to know them" (the dogs) so she can assess how to work with them. Their likes and dislikes which I thought was great.

Took my dog there for the 1st time and picked up a very happy pup! Manuela was very detailed, gave me a "report" at pick up & she clearly has the magic touch. A week later and he still smells amazing!

I am SO glad I found Manuela!!! It's taken years for me to find someone in LA that can properly groom my little King Cav mix. His fur grows so fast and without proper grooming can grow very weirdly across parts of his body. Teddy is a 15lb, tripod who is well versed in grooming but, again has a challenging cut for most LA groomers. Manuela figured him out in ONE visit! Which is unheard of and even my vet commented on how well groomed he is and she had hundreds of clients, so that's a big compliment in my books. My polar opposite pup is a 110lb, 16mo Great Dane who has minimal (and rough) experiences with past groomers. Manuela has treated Lilith with such kindness and knows how crazy she gets when I come to get her she has managed to make Lilith comfortable, trim her nails properly, and even when in her first heat and desperately needed a bath helped me out. I have not found a groomer in my collected 11 years in the valley that I would recommend above Manuela and her team. They love their clients, listen to their wants and needs (dog + parent), and is so accommodating. I hate giving away the best kept secrets but Spawt On is one of the valleys best dog spots, period and I'd be denying business to one that deserves it by not sharing.

UPDATE: The owner called me back to apologize for what happened and acknowledge that this does not meet her standards. She offered to refund me. Adding a star for this communication and willingness to try to make it right. Nice folks and a great place for JUST a sanitary cut, but this was my first time doing a full grooming, and I'm really bummed that whoever did my boy with his beautiful, long, bushy tail, completely butchered said tail. He was in need of detangling to be sure. But to simply CUT OUT the tangles in random spots along his tail and leave this mess is shocking. The hair on his tail doesn't grow like the rest of his body and this will take at least a year to just even out. He's 11 years old and likely won't live long enough for it to ever grow back to what it was. Nothing can be done and I'm grateful it's nothing worse than his tail. In the scheme of things it may be a small thing to sweat. Just feeling pretty bummed. So if you have a dog with a tangled, long, bushy tail, and you want to keep their tail long and bushy, stick to their sanitary cut only. On that they are a fine option.

Highly underrated. A secret Gem in NoHo. I almost don't want to post this review because I don't want this place to blow up. But, Yelp let me tell youuu....I'm with my dog almost 24/7 and I get anxious with groomers possibly treating my dog badly or accidentally cutting her. Nope not here. All good vibes no accidents strong! Yay! They do an amazing job with my senior dog and I'm comfortable taking her here once a month. With that said, each time I call I'm able to get an appointment within a few days. That's a plus for me since I've tried the bougie dog groomers and well, availability is hard to find for a good groomer.

Recommend 200%! It was my baby's first time here after moving to Noho couple months ago. My neighbor recommended to try here as she's also a doodle owner and I'm sooo glad we did! Manuela was so welcoming and even took notes on what we specifically wanted. Its hard to cut doodles exactly the way we want but Manuela did a very good job! Definitely will be coming back :)

He'll yeah I recommend them, they were very welcoming and did great work on the two pugs I dog sat for some friends. I enjoyed the pugs in my care for 3 days I had to treat them and this business executed it. They even sprayed perfume on them that was so good, I looked like a fool constantly picking them up to smell them. The dogs never showed any distress and were returned safely like they were dropped off. Even other dogs there didn't show any distress during and after grooming. When I dog sit again definitely will be back. Their owner was ecstatic and thank for the whole experience the pugs had.

Best groomers in town! My dog is very comfortable here. Hes not afraid nor in distress when I pick him up. They they are very quick and haircuts are perfect. My dog is ten years old, nineteen pounds. They work very fast. It is never hard to get him an appointment. Groomers is very sweet and compassionate. I love Manuela. They also have great pricing. read more

My dog hates getting groomed, hates the crate, and gets a little anxious. HOWEVER Spawt On Grooming has been so accommodating for her needs. They make sure to book us during times where they know they can meet her needs. We have had nothing but positive experiences here. The employees are so kind and ready to help. I absolutely love this place and the service is amazing. I was anxious because I have a seven month old puppy who is very hyper and likes to nibble a lot so I was scared she was going to be a handful, but they treated her right and did an amazing job. Definitely recommend read more

She always does an amazing job with my dog. And the prices are very very reasonable. You can tell she loves what she does and my dog never comes back traumatized. I highly recommend this groomer but you do have to book in advance because she fills up although I must say she's always found a way to accommodate me. Very happy with this service. read more

Manuela and her sister are amazing!! Manuela is very patient with all my dogs (especially with my eldest dog who is very vocal even when he's happy!) I took my first dog to get groomed with her and I've never looked or felt the need to look for another groomer. She's been so amazing with my German shepherd obsession, met my first GSD and since then I've added 3 more to the pack and she's great with all of them! My boy doesn't like many people so when he likes someone, I know they must be an AMAZING person! read more

I've always had an unpleasant experience with this groomer but repeatedly gave them another chance. The last time I brought my doodle in for a "lion cut" and they completely butchered it which left my pup looking terrible. The owner is a really nasty woman who handled the situation Rudely and their communication is terrible. Would never bring my dog here again. read more

I have been going to Spawt On Grooming since 2021, when it opened. I cannot say anything but good things about them. My dogs always hated going to the groomers and would pull away every time I would take them. But with Manuela they love going to get groomed and they pull me to the door from all their excitement. Several months ago, I found Manuela through Instagram and I messaged her about booking an appointment for my aunt's dog, Benji. My aunt was having trouble finding a good dog groomer that she liked and had fair pricing so I set out to find one for her. Manuela was sweet and said she'd groom him at the dog salon she was working at. We gave Manuela a shot and we were not disappointed in the slightest! Benji came out perfect and we love Manuela's work. Since then, Manuela was able to open her own dog grooming salon and we've followed her since. She's also groomed my own dogs, a 115 lb Akita mix and my 20 lb yorkie mix and they've all come out fantastic. I can't say enough good things about her and her business. I'm a customer for life! read more

OMG! After trying 3 groomers for my mini golden doodle, I have found Spawt on Grooming! Literally I just gave few instructions like the length and fluffy ears and she left my Audrey looking beautiful and super soft and just beautiful more than ever. So soft, so even, the bows! so cute! And the prices! So far the best prices in town! I will definitely come back! read more

I found my pet grooming place! There's a parking lot in the back of the building. The ladies there are super nice and informative. I brought in my 6 months old husky and 2.5 hours later, she came out clean, fresh, silky soft and happy. I was also happy with the pricing. read more

I have been looking for a groomer near my house for awhile. When I found Spawt On I thought I would try it since it is close. I took my three dogs Bingo, Luci and Skarlett, two of them received a bath and one received a bath and a cut. Manuela was friendly and did a fabulous job. All three dogs looked and smelled great when I picked them up. Her prices are reasonable so I believe I found my groomer. I would defiantly recommend this place..come out and support a small business owner. read more

They're so great! We just moved to the area and it's always nerve wrecking finding a new groomer for our goldendoodle. It was was super easy to make an appointment and you can even text or DM them via Instagram which nice if you're with the times. Manuela was flexible and accommodating to my scheduling changes. Our goldendoodle got a light trim and she got all of the matted hair out without it being too short in the end which I always appreciate. Will definitely be back! read more

This place was great! My 4 month old golden doodle got into the trash after Thanksgiving and was covered in turkey grease among other things.. I took him here for his very first grooming. I called in the morning and they were able to take him that day. Left him for about an hour and a half and he came back better than new! read more

We were so happy when a new groomer opened within walking distance. We brought both of the pups in on separate days because in the past our goldens have sometimes taken up to 5 hours to be fully groomed. Manuela was amazing- each dog only took two hours for the full service. Not only that, her prices are absolutely spawt on. We will definitely be return customers. The pricing is extremely reasonable and most importantly our dogs were happy, clean, and looking great. Every time I dropped her off somewhere new, I had this uneasy feeling. Bella would come back stressed and not like herself, and after a few bad experiences (including her getting injured), I just couldn't keep putting her through that. So I went back to Lucky's Dog grooming, her original groomer and I'm so glad I did. The owner genuinely cares about the dogs, and you can feel it. Bella is calm, happy, and treated with so much patience every time. I've seen some comments about small cuts, and while of course no one wants that, sometimes it can happen depending on the dog's skin. They cut his hair shorter than asked, cut off his brows (which I specifically told them NOT to do twice before they told him back), and gave him the most choppy, uneven hair cut. He's never had a haircut this horrible. I could have done a better job if I threw the scissors at my dog blindfolded. Def DO NOT recommend.

I don't know how she does it - but somehow she successfully clips Ace's nails even though he'll try to take my hand off if I even TOUCH his paw! When I saw Max after his appointment I was floored! He is pristine, cute, comfortable, and clean! Kai gave him the perfect cut to keep him looking adorable, or to let it grow out evenly. I have a big German Shepherd (Schutzhund level I) and although he is old and well behaved-- he can be intense. Michael was super friendly and did a great job working on my pup. Mojo has a thick double coat with lots of hair, but he looked and smelled great. I read Josie does the brush-out which I really appreciated, because Mojo is a shedding beast. They spent a lot of time and he was throughly clean-- which is so important when you have a big dog in a small apartment. Overall, I'd highly recommend. Josie and Michael are the type of people: A) that provide a top quality service and take pride in their work , and B) you feel 100% safe to entrust with your precious pet.

I called initially a week ago asking how much a basic trimming is, was told $15-20, the person I talked to on the phone wasn't entirely sure. Either way it's less than the $25 per basic trimming that every other locally owned place in the NoHo arts district quoted me for so it seemed like an obvious choice. I showed up with my dog, saw a closed and locked gate-style door with an ajar wooden door behind it, and heard activity inside. Dogs barking and some TV playing. I knocked on the gate style door and got no response, so went home. I sent an Instagram DM confirming if they take walk-ins, no response. After calling a couple times this week with no answer, I was able to talk to who I assume was the owner today who told me he was out of town, but would be able to take a walk in around 3-4pm. I arrived a little past 3:30, saw the same locked gate door and ajar wooden door inside, no dog sounds this time but I did hear TV playing faintly. I tried calling twice, straight to decline both times. I knocked on the door about 4 times, waiting a couple minutes in between each attempt. Said "hello" and heard the TV continue to play inside but no response. Around 3:45 I gave up and went to the PetCo Unleashed down the street for a $12 nail trim. I would make an appointment online to make the whole process easier, but the only appointment options are for full service at $100+. Not quite what I'm looking for. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong here but this has been frustrating! I wish there was a doorbell or something to ring, it's annoying to see a glowing OPEN sign on top of the door when it's locked and nobody answers either knocking or phone calls.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Spawt On Grooming! From the moment I walked in with my anxious pet Afro, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by Manuela. Manuela's calming and kind demeanor instantly put Afro at ease throughout the grooming process. She went above and beyond to ensure that both Afro and I felt comfortable with the cut.
