    Bisky's after (maltipoo)

I found Doggu spaw through ChatGPT, saying I wanted someone who specializes in puppy cuts, especially with doodle mixes, and who provides a calm experience for dogs. Booking with Erika was super easy, and the pricing was transparent which I really appreciate! I have had so much trouble with previous groomers about getting the look we want: a teddy bear look, no clear marks of clippers, and keeping their eyelashes. I barely had to tell Erika what to do, and didn't have to worry about hearing a groomer who huffs and puffs at her customer. Erika was incredibly sweet and super communicative! My Bisky would come from the groomer so anxious, panting and crying, because of the long waits she had in a crate and the sounds of large and aggressive dogs barking. I really appreciate Erika's business model of proving a serene, dedicated space for each dog, giving undivided attention. I am even more grateful for her kindness because this was Millie's first haircut (she is my little baby). Erika did a beautiful job on both of them, and my family is so happy with the results--we also love the adorable lil Pom Pom collars that Erika brought them out with :) She is worth every penny--we have our new groomer for our girls. Thank you, Erika!

I've been taking Bella to Lucky's Dog Grooming since she was a puppy (she's 9 now). After moving to…read moreSanta Clarita almost 5 years ago, I had to try a bunch of places closer to home, but I was never truly comfortable. Every time I dropped her off somewhere new, I had this uneasy feeling. Bella would come back stressed and not like herself, and after a few bad experiences (including her getting injured), I just couldn't keep putting her through that. So I went back to Lucky's Dog grooming, her original groomer and I'm so glad I did. The owner genuinely cares about the dogs, and you can feel it. Bella is calm, happy, and treated with so much patience every time. I've seen some comments about small cuts, and while of course no one wants that, sometimes it can happen depending on the dog's skin. Personally, I'd take that over my dog coming back anxious or hurt any day. I'm really grateful for them. Thank you for always taking such good care of Bella and treating her like a princess

So I've been here many times. And they always do a good job in terms of the haircut. And even in…read morethis situation her haircut was still good. (I have a small white dog.) But my dog like many, is very scared of the groomers. She starts shaking from the moment we park. She's like this with any groomer and also the vet. I don't think it's a very unique situation. However today they had my dog there for about 3.5 hours for her grooming. Now I can understand if the bath and haircut take a while. But today I dropped her off in the morning and later I had an another appointment I needed to get to. (Which I ended up rescheduling because of this, but it's not the end of the world) I had asked ahead of time for a guesstimate on how long it would take so I could plan my day. They said around 2 to 2.5 hours. I know it's only an estimate and no guarantee. So I left. And then decided to stop in after 3 hours cause my other appointment was soon and I figured they had to be close. Even if I had to wait for another 10-15 min while they finish up. When I got there, they were only halfway through her haircut. I could see her in the back on the table. Her body was mostly shaved but just like a first pass and her head was still untouched. So I left and waited for their call as I live nearby. But my issue isn't a long haircut. My issue is that my dog was sitting, terrified in a cage/pen/crate for hours before she was even started on. I had made an appointment. What is the point of making an appointment if she's going to be waiting so long? If you can't handle more than one dog at a time Just tell me to come at another time. I understand there will be a little bit of waiting. But I'd like her to be there for only as long as needed cause it's very stressful. My dog is close to 11 years old. When I finally got the call and picked her up. I asked them why it took so long. They told me they had an older dog that needed to be done first. Again, if they didn't have time to do her grooming at that point, then why accept the appointment? This now makes me wonder how many times they have made her sit and wait for hours before starting. I will likely shop around for somewhere new because of this.

If you are looking for someone that takes you and your dog's needs seriously, loves what they do,…read moreand takes pride in their work, do your dog and yourself a favor and book with Kai immediately. A sweet little Maltese named Max came into my life with the best personality and the worst haircut, like something you'd see in a Victorian taxidermy booklet. Before Max's appointment Kai asked lots of questions about my aesthetic preferences, his activity and energy levels, any pertinent health or behavioral issues, etc. I left Max there completely confident and at ease that he was in expert hands with excellent care. When I saw Max after his appointment I was floored! He is pristine, cute, comfortable, and clean! Kai gave him the perfect cut to keep him looking adorable, or to let it grow out evenly. He looks and smells amazing and I can't imagine any other groomer taking the time and energy to perfect the look and take so much pride in what they do. Thank you Kai!

After he got a hemorrhage in his eye from one of his first grooms at a local pet shop, I knew I had to take him to someone who knew what they were doing. Kai is just magic! I don't know how she does it - but somehow she successfully clips Ace's nails even though he'll try to take my hand off if I even TOUCH his paw! I've followed her from Atwater to North Hollywood and I will go wherever she goes because she is just the best. If you have a dog that is "difficult" when it comes to grooming, please take them to Kai. She really cares about dogs and puts their comfort before anything else - that is just so amazing to witness.
