They have a Little vip section with mini movie theatre, play ground area and tons of cartoons for the children. No parents allowed!!! Lol My daughter is pretty shy but this place made her more than comfortable to bounce around and be herself with the girlies... then we get to her hair and it was beautiful exactly what she wanted..to sum it up this business is definitely a go to for your little princess. What sets this salon aside from the others is that it truly caters to our little divas every need. They even had hair books of their work which is not common in my experience. I needed to buy some presents for a birthday party and I thought my girls could use a cut. I really wanted to book them at the South Barrington location but there were no openings until next week. We have been to this location before and were disappointed but I thought it was just one bad experience so we gave it a go. The stylist asked my girls names and then did not say much else to them. She did not offer them iPads to watch while she cut their hair. She did not do a little braid in the front like they are used to in S. Barrington. I don't think she even handed them a mirror or turned them to face the mirror so that they could see their hair. I am not convinced this lady liked children and based on my experience the last time, this is not a fluke. The haircuts themselves were fine but now my daughter is saying that her hair is ugly and I really feel like it is due to not having the mini braid added and not having the stylist show any interest in her experience. I was recommended by a friend. made an appointment for a…read morewash blow dry. after sharing with the Salon team I had important business meetings. they insisted I had highlights toner etc. being a little skeptical I specifically shared with them results of if coloring or bleaching my hair bad outcomes. I took the Jump and after the second day of getting used to the color and style I am receiving many complements and happy with what I see staring back in the mirror! thank you, and yes you were right about the color matching my eyes. thank you! I live out of state but will make a point to revisit when possible!
