The decor fits its name 'Pink Saffron.' Everything is so bright and charming. We ordered their recommended tandoori chicken, which arrived to the table with its very own grill and smoking perfectly! What a show-stopper! Beyond looking amazing, the chicken was tender and flavorful. We also ordered a grilled vegetable curry that our server recommended, and we thought it was such a thoughtful dish. Each veggie was cooked al dente and just right. It's not overcooked or too raw. I appreciate all the recommendations that our server suggested. I find that restaurants don't always cook vegetables well and make it an afterthought, but not at Pink Saffron! It was another main character dish with great detail including a topping of lotus puffs, which I havent tried before. It's a light taste with a nice chew to it - supposedly very healthy, too. We paired it with garlic naan, which was pillowy and fresh with a ton of garlic. A memorable meal!

I go once a week or once every other week, and every time the food is consistently excellent. The portions are big, and one meal usually lasts 2-3 meals for me. Everything I have tried is really tasty, and have never had a bad dish. The one big standout is their dessert (if you have room for it) - I've tried their rice pudding and carrot pudding. I am not a huge sweets person, but I LOVE these dishes. I've actually started to mix the carrot pudding in with plain oatmeal and it is delicious. And the staff are very nice and very conscious of how long patrons are waiting for their food. I've also never had an issue with having incorrect or missing food. The excellent customer service and delicious food make this place a winner - thank you Spicelife!

This place is in the busy part of Arlington near the Metro. I found a single block less than half a mile away with free parking after five but it is tricky for driving. The menu is a diverse Modern Indian selection. I went in a South Indian direction, ordering a Chettinadu dish with a Malabar parotta. They offer all their sauces with a wide variety of protein choices for customization, and I opted for tofu, which isn't exactly traditional but works well. The breads were pull-apart-level flaky, which is on point. I got a chai with just the right amount of sweetness. I didn't realize I'd ordered the spinach pakora chaat at their other location or I wouldn't have ordered it again, but that's because I prefer to try new things, not because it wasn't delicious. The menu is great for special dietary needs with clear marking, but the flavors remain distinctively Indian. I was surprised at how busy it was on a weekday night, but maybe I shouldn't be.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. We shared the samosas to start, and they were clearly made fresh, crispy on the outside and steaming hot inside. I ordered the lunch special with salmon tikka masala, which was both flavorful and generously portioned. I even had enough leftovers for another meal. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed the butter chicken and also left with plenty to take home. The service was quick and attentive, and the atmosphere felt cozy while still being elevated and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Recommend starting with the Ragda Pattice and your main dish butter or tandori chicken. If they are serving scallops, order it! Whatever main dish you order, you have to order one of their house made chutneys. We really enjoyed the mango chutney. Also, don't forget the naan! We like plain or garlic. They are about a 5-7 min walk from the Capital One Arena. So, it is best to make reservations just in case you are trying to dine here when there is an event at Capital One. It gets crowded! The place is quite dark with that moody ambiance. It's also loud. Our server bhaskar was very attentive and a total sweetheart. I heard him ask a delivery driver if he wanted water or anything before he got his delivery order. Since we got the mixed grill, he recommended a new dish to us, chicken green masala. We also got the lacha paratha to go with it. The mix grill was nice to taste a bit of everything. The salmon was a bit undercooked in some areas but very tasty. The tandoori chicken was dry. The lamb was absolutely delicious and i could have eaten a whole platter of just that. The green masala has such warm spices and it was perfectly spicy. It went sooo well with the paratha. The paratha was flaky and buttery. The mushroom was so unexpected. I loved it so much. It was tangy and spicy. Perfect also. Overall, I'll be back for the mains, for the grill, i would definitely recommend the lamb but not others. This was our anniversary dinner, so bhaskar surprised us with a small ice cream and gulab jamun. Sooo sweet to recognize this. He is the best.
