This is what almost half looks like when you commit to not eating it all at once

Line moves with fast service! A solid five stars for my first visit! This little gem came highly recommended and I had to follow up. Upon arrival there were 4 people in front of me and I scrambled to set up this check in. It was my turn in less than 5 minutes! My server was upbeat and pleasantly excited to explain my options since this was my first (and definitely not last) visit. The food is AMAZING! The sauces are a perfect match to whatever combination you desire. I'll be taking this home to share

Taste just like those Halal food carts in NYC & priced right. $13 gets you a large bowl with chicken AND gyro over the tasty seasoned rice. A few shredded veggies on top and you've got a filling meal for one to almost 2 folks (shareable). Located conveniently right outside the Rosslyn Metro station, service was fast and a drink (canned soda) came w/ the meal. Would be nice if additional sauce packets were available cuz sometimes these bowls need more "moisture."

I decided to try this food truck today on my break. Since I always saw a line everyday I was interested, and oh my, it didn't disappoint I got the Lamb platter w a side of pita bread and it was so good man very flavorful. The service is good friendly guys, and the truck itself looks cool and well designed

I always try to eat halal food every chance I get. The food is very good. Lots of rice with spices. We ordered the combo with chicken and gyro meat. The sauce was the traditional halal sauce and tahini sauce. I'm not sure which sauce was spicy but it was quite spicy. All was good and service was fast. I only wish they gave us more sauce. The rice was a bit dry. This meal came with soda which was an added value.

This place gives me hope for the future. Food tastes great, is substantial, service was quick, and price is amazing. If they keep doing what they're doing, they have a customer for life.

Very nice food truck, very tasty food, and very reasonable prices! I just personally wish that they had more and better drink options. I only saw water and common sodas. Otherwise, the food and service was great. I highly recommend. I had the lamb over rice and salad with every topping, from chickpeas to hot sauce and more.

This is what the food cart looks like. It is right next to the metro station.

I had the chicken and lamb with rice and salad combo. The food was fresh and tasty. I wanted to finish all of it but decided to keep some for leftovers. The cook was also very nice. It is right outside the Roslyn Metro Station. There are places to sit and eat outside if the weather is nice.

Good food at an affordable price. I appreciate the hassle of the guy who works the cart-hardworking and polite.

We only ordered drinks, and to start, we had the pistachio espresso martini. It was so delicious. The rim of crushed pistachios was the perfect touch. My second drink was the lemon elixir, and although I'm not a fan of the tartness of lemon, I did really like this drink. I think the creaminess overshadowed the tartness for me. My last drink of the night was the orange dreamsicle. This was definitely my favorite out of the three! It wasn't overwhelmingly sweet and had a creaminess to it that I enjoyed. On top of the tasty drinks, we had an amazing waiter! He made sure to explain all the drinks to us and he was very accommodating. I'll definitely be back to visit next time I'm in the area!

The espresso martinis were a little too sweet and taste more like chocolate milk than a martini. My favorite dish of the night were the fries, everything was decent at most. Not a single dish stood out to us in any way. We tried the Octopus, lamb shank for two, chicken kebabs, and tzatziki dip. The lamb was bland and needed salt while the chicken was super bland and dry. The octopus was OK and the tzatziki was decent. The fries were the only really tasty dish of the night. I'd skip Layli as not one single dish made us want to come back, especially for the price. Dining with my friend on Lebanese cuisine was a delightful culinary adventure filled with surprises…read moreand delights. Moussaka: A classic Lebanese dish. Eggplant and hummus were simmered until soft and flavorful, with a subtle smoky aroma. The addition of mint leaves enhanced the flavor. Bone Marrow: Beef tartare with bone marrow and pomegranate seeds--how interesting! The first two provided a rich, fatty texture and intense aroma, while the latter burst in your mouth occasionally, juicy, tangy, and refreshing. Brussels Sprouts: Brussels sprouts with grapes, walnuts, fig jam, and mint yogurt--a whimsical yet magical combination... The Brussels sprouts offered a fresh, vegetal aroma and a slightly roasted aroma; the walnuts provided a nutty richness and crunch; the fruit provided a fresh sweet and sour taste and plenty of juice; and the yogurt acted as a binder between the flavors while adding a touch of minty coolness. Duck Shawarma: My friend and I thought: ...Peking duck? The skin was soft, the meat tender, not gamey, with a subtle smoky flavor; the fig and lemon sauce was sweet and refreshing; the small pita pillows held the meat securely, better than the lettuce what might have been too cold. Lamb Stuffed Grape Leaves: Black rice was wrapped in grape leaves and simmered with minced lamb. The rice absorbed the fragrance of the grape leaves, similar to lotus leaves (my friend and I thought: lamb version of sticky rice chicken糯米雞...?). The lamb, however, was served separately at the bottom of the pot and didn't absorb much flavor; overall, it was intensely sour. In short, this dish was a bit oddly designed, and it was the only one we didn't finish because the sourness was unbearable. Pita Bread: The bread was thin yet chewy, with a rough, slightly powdery surface, making it substantial and satisfying. I especially loved the "everything wrapped in a big pancake" style! This restaurant is located on the wharf near the Potomac River and boasts beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows. The spring sunlight streamed in softly.

I made my owner online and it was very easy to do. The owner was so nice while we waited for our order. First, the portion size was huge. I could not finish it in one sitting. Second, it came with a huge salad, which I was not expecting. The salad was delicious, the Philly was delicious. The fries.....not so much. They were crispy and hard. The salad and Philly were both tasty and packed with flavor. I cannot say enough about this place. They have a wide assortment of food including gyros, salads, soups, wraps, paninis, burgers, skewers/kabobs mezza, and antipasti. They also have worldwide booze, including imported beers. Outside feels like a complete different place (so pick indoor seating). Second, the staff is very friendly. We ordered several of their appetizers for our group and they were all delicious. Their kabab plates were a hit. They also offered a good selection of drinks. Minor thing, and it is from personal experience only: their menus are printed on black paper and in a plastic sleeve. Reminds me of the bad touristy places in Europe. It did not represent how good the food was, because usually we run away from this Massive Plastic menus... so I Joel one day they will update them to something nicer for a better first feel.

I got there after 6pm. It was packed. It was my first there and had no idea what I was getting into. The menus doesnt explain much nor were prices mentioned. Its like $39.99 They also tacked on a service fee. Which is deceiving since its not mentioned upfront in the menu. You find out when you get your bill. The service was 5 stars. The young man very attentive and friendly. Ushered our dirty tables and brought us our drinks. I had minty lemonade which I recommend if your gonna eat a lot. Here's my gripe. Its very important to label food. None of the food trays or stations were labeled. I have several food allergies and I had no idea what was what. I had to ask what was this or that. One tray had rice and I saw something that had deep fried crispy something. I thought it was chicken... it was fish :( The hummus was good though. The baklava meh. The pita bread was good. Some rice tray had kabob type of meat but it was lukewarm. For the price I paid, its not worth it. Please label your trays. Im give this place another try with my husband after Ramadan. , I saw on the dessert menu they have Knafeh.. a delicious middle eastern dessert that I love. Can't wait to try that.
