Personally I did not like it. First, a new type of pin setter is being used. It uses ropes. I also did not like the TV screens above to pins as I found it distracting. Also the use of black light over the pins was not pleasant to me. We went on a Monday night and very few people were bowling. read more

My family and I decided to spontaneously come here for my birthday about a month ago. The experience was amazing, the staff were friendly, especially Josh (the manager) When we arrived he was the only one working, but he was still quick, friendly, and very welcoming. He didn't hesitate to help us, get us beverages/cocktails, food, and got us ready to bowl. The food was surprisingly pretty good! There's also a mini arcade on the left side. My family and I had a great time. Josh even made my mom and I some delicious shots to celebrate my birthday! :) My only complaint was that it was a bit hot in there. read more

Terrible. I can't believe how much money I spent on this terrible experience. They have string pins witch kept malfunctioning. The numbers in our lane kept malfunction. The arcades are terrible. I came here on a Friday night. Drink prices and bowling pricey for that day. They have an arcade room, bar and billiards. There's a ton of options to do at Bowlero. Bartender nice and friendly. It looks like they have better deals on weekdays and Sundays. Overall, enjoyable for anyone even if you're not into bowling. read more

Got to celebrate one very special person here for their birthday. The staff were kind, and very attentive. They had servers just for our party. Everything was presented very well and everything was clean. You don't feel cramped here as compared to some other bowling alleys. They have plenty of seating and a lot of drink, and food choices. Everyone who went had a great time and I think it really made the birthday girl feel special. They also offer laser tag which was a lot of fun as well! My family and I went here over the weekend and we showed up on a Saturday night around 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Upon arrival we were greeted by a hostess and could see that they had tape directing people to go in separate ways trying to abide by COVID-19 safety precautions. While walking up to the front desk the manager was wearing his mask on correctly however there was another staff member that was wearing their mask under their chin. We ended up playing the arcade, bowling, laser tag (we played for roughly 20 to 30 minutes my daughters laser gun and my laser gun did not function there was no staff supervision during the laser tag event and they did not clean any of the laser tag packs with sanitizer at all after we were done) to start off Saturday nights the pricing in the arcade is much higher than it is during the regular Monday through Thursday. In addition there were several hand sanitizing stations and unfortunately were empty of hand sanitizer which clearly shows a lack of cleanliness We were originally told that we needed to wear masks at all times but yet when we started to bowl we realize that nobody who is actually bowling wore a mask and nobody at the facility was enforcing the rules that they're trying to put in place. As a tip if you're going to play the arcade and are looking to actually win prizes with your kids there is a machine all the way in the back that you can easily win 80 to 100 tickets for only the cost of two tokens it's almost as if it's a hidden gem in the arcade :-) The only downfall to the machine is that it's been here for several years has a major crack in the glass and there appears to be a blood stain that has been there for as long as I can remember..... while it was a fun experience with my family I feel like cleanliness is a major issue at this establishment Despite the postings and encouragement upon walking in from the front desk staff for COVID-19 restrictions. read more

The food - not so much. But I'm there to bowl and I definitely got 3-4 games in about 2 hrs. So it wasn't that bad read more

The group next to me told me the bumper was not working so I went to the front and asked to be moved but there were no open lanes. Took our family out to celebrate husband's birthday. Can say it was the worst $250+ ever spent. Our lane malfunctioned within our first 30 minutes of playing, and took over 30 minutes to be fixed before our kids could resume playing. They could have moved us to a new lane! Drinks took 37 minutes when ordered from the bar from our lane, and were not even correct when finally brought to us. 2 men at the lane next to us began harassing our two small children and approached my husband telling him they were offended by our girls LAUGHING, and began calling me vulgar names in front of our kids! This prompted us to have to leave the establishment altogether to avoid further trouble in front of our little girls... ending and completely ruining our VERY expensive night out for my husband's birthday. We spoke with "management" twice, including as we were leaving, which was completely useless. They couldn't have cared less. Stated they can't control what other people do, and offered zero compensation or compassion for a ruined evening in their establishment. Beautiful place, but terribly overpriced and very bad service and experience overall for our family. Would never return or spend another penny here. It's a shame. read more

We just had my son's 10th birthday party at Bowlero in Buffalo Grove, and we were BLOWN AWAY by the amazing experience. From the reservation and planning process to the actual party, every detail was handled with care, communication was impeccable, and most importantly the event was smooth and a TON of fun! Andrea (their event planner) was incredibly helpful- she helped us build the perfect package for the party (we did a laser tag and arcade party), answered all of my questions, and was available throughout the process. On the day of the party, Josh greeted us and showed us to our private party room. It was clean, spacious, and had EVERYTHING we needed- dishes, hand sanitizer, even sharpies for putting names on arcade cards! Giselle was our server, and she was available throughout the entire event- making sure we had everything we needed, keeping the party on schedule, and answering questions. Mike was the manager during the event, and he was around as well. Either Josh, Mike, or Giselle was available any time we needed anything, and they all checked in on us throughout the night to make sure we had everything and that things were to our liking. The event ran on the schedule they had laid out- both our laser tag rounds started right on time, food came out when it was supposed to, drink orders were taken right away upon our coming into the room. The food was yummy (we had chicken strips, cheese pizza, and fries for the kids), there was plenty of it, and it stayed warm throughout the party. There were several other little touches that just added to the wonderful experience- the ability to quickly and easily reload arcade cards (for a few kiddos who used their credits quickly), extra tickets on the birthday boy's arcade card (he was thrilled to be able to get a "big prize" that is normally out of his ticket range!), take out boxes for extra food (brought without us having to ask), and personalized thank you for having our event with them. My son declared it, "The best birthday party ever!" And one the guests said, "I want to have my tenth birthday party here!" Which is the highest praise of any party! I can't recommend Bowlero in Buffalo Grove enough for a private event- we will absolutely be having more events there in the future! read more

The food was impeccable from the wings to the fries everything was fresh! I also loved that they keep the kitchen open late making it great for a late night snack. The staff was so knowledgeable and attentive especially with how busy this place was. I was surprised as it was a week night but let's just say I was swimming in it! If I could put a zero I would. half the lanes are broken and the service is beyond slow. A single beer was $9 and you have to wait 10-20 min just to get it even if it's not busy. Whats even worse is the person behind the desk took 20min to check us in and finally gave us lanes which were broken of course. To make this whole experience even better, the customer service was beyond awful. If you want to bowl, go to arlington lanes. It is much cheaper and more professional. read more

This was our first time here. We found it through an online promotion. The facility is less than 5 minutes from my home, but is definitely not well seen from the street. Perhaps better signage would benefit. Once inside, I was certainly pleasantly surprised. The facilities were extremely clean and very well kept up with. It wasn't loud or crowded. Although, we did get there a little more than an hour prior to closing. The place was still well staffed and the employees were very pleasant and patient, explaining to us how the card system worked. We had a very nice time. It was a little pricey and had it not be for the cost, I probably would have given 5 stars. read more

We really liked the Bowlero in Algonquin, so we were excited to try this one when we moved out here! Our bartender argued about the specials prices and times (which are printed on the menu), we were charged with a surprise 18% service fee for our simple meal for two, and nobody was at the prize kiosk even as a line was forming; my partner had to flag someone down!
