This place was hopping on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of lanes, but they were all filled for bowling leagues. My son and I went here for some billiard action. The tables were in really good shape. No divots, wrinkled felt, or anything. The tables felt was smooth and the balls glided easily around the table. We played several games and had a good time. Fun place to bowl with plenty of parking and a ton of lanes at a reasonable price. Due to the size of the location, it's easily able to accommodate tournaments as well as large parties without feeling too crowded or being too loud. There is a good selection of balls available at a wide variety of weights and I found the overall facility and lanes to be well maintained with modern equipment. We had our oldest son's birthday party here in February. He had 25 kids from his class attending that day. There was also a HS bowling tournament here the same day (which we did not know about until the day of). It was super chaotic in there that Saturday but you would never know it with the staff. They handled everything flawlessly. They communicated via text during the party to let me know when the pizzas were coming out and the whole afternoon was smooth. Best bowling alley around!!! It isn't too crowded during the day ever, and the prices are affordable ($2.50 a game before 5 pm, $3 shoe rental)! The food is bowling alley food, not fancy or anything but REALLY hits the spot. Employees are chill and atmosphere is wonderful. Great for a few hours of entertainment with friends, family, or a date! Pro tip- once you start the game go into the menu and click option 3 (my lane my way, or something like that), and you can change the theme of the scoreboard :) read more

Came here for several years now until an interaction today lost my support for this establishment. someone cut us in line and when we stepped up instead the man very rudely asks us to get in line. After explaining we were waiting, he rolled his eyes and puffed. The employee then tells us the gentleman was in fact first. Simple misunderstanding right? But no, the employee not only defended the rude customer but also cut us off short telling us he'll get to us just as rudely as the other man. Bowling lanes shouldn't take too much to impress but this place is a whole lot better than Eskape. $1 bowling on Mondays and $1 bowling on Sunday 8pm-close. Although Eskape has $1 bowling Sun-Wed? 9pm-close, I would rather go to Arlington lanes. Lanes are much better and oiled like it should be. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Honestly, I've always went to Eskape since it's closer but I refuse to go now because the management staff really only cares for the money. I am new(ish) to the area and have been bouncing from place to place. Stopped in at Arlington today so I could get my new ball drilled. I've had some work done at a couple other pro shops in the area and have not really been impressed. Arlington has Carl. I have no idea how long Carl has been drilling, but I am guessing we are into decades. He is polite, funny, and very thorough. Carl will get all of my drilling work from here on. After drilling, I grabbed a lane to test the ball and fit. Ok, so if you are looking for digital displays, the latest scoring system or hipster-trendy fun, this place is not for you. Technically, it's dated. But it's clean and the staff were very friendly. The lanes have a lot of seating area, and not the staggered, cram too many tables into each lane area seating that is becoming too common now. It's old school, "sit back and chat while your buddy takes a turn" seating. I get the feeling that helicopter parents and exuberant "scream for every strike" types are not really the norm here. That's all good in my book. This is an alley in the spirit of the Dude or Uncle Buck. The equipment is a little on the rickety side, but it works. The decor is old, but not failing. So great to have Arlington Lanes in the neighborhood. They have ample parking, a place to play pool, a party room, the facility is very clean and well maintained. It's a perfect spot for the family, couples, or singles to participate in our favorite past time, bowling! The price to bowl and rent your shoes is reasonable as well. We bowled three games plus shoe rentals for two came out to 24 dollars and it was the weekend too. A good deal in my opinion. read more

I went here with my boyfriend. After a couple games of bowling we decided to get a beer at the bar and wait to play a game of pool. There was a man there who said he was on a bowling league, and I told him that's cool, I really suck at bowling. He then said he bet I would be good at sucking something else... To sum it up, this was the most awkward, creepy, and disrespectful experience. The bartender, his friends, and the security guard were defending him. I think the very least they could do is refund our money from the day, and kick that guy out. We finished our beer and left right away. The only bowling alley I know. Arlington Lanes is by far the "best" bowling alley around. I have been coming here since I was a child for various birthdays, media events, and casual bowling. I'm not familiar with other bowling alleys in the area but Arlington Lanes is a guaranteed good time. They have 40 some lanes, pool tables, bar, arcade, and a decent food menu. If you are in for some casual games then Arlington Lanes won't let you down. read more

The customer service here blows the rest of the competitors out by a long shot! I have been bowling at Arlington Lanes for a little over a year now and by far the best place to bowl. As far as the service goes it's great service hands down but the lanes can sometimes be a hit or a miss every now and then. But if you're a decent bowler then adjusting to the lane shouldn't be a problem. You wanna catch a sports game or feel like shooting pool? Look no further there is a small bar and pool hall that is also part of Arlington Lanes that is great to hang out at to kill some time and catch a sports game (Football, hockey, basketball etc...) Nice staff, food is made by hand from scratch so the staff tells me, and you can tell, sometimes. I was sure glad I opted to eat here, the cheese pizza was great, chicken Cesar salad I ordered came without the chicken at first but I went up, came back and sat down and it was back on there, so good job. Curly fries tasted odd. The guac and chips for only 3.50 was a small small cup and many many chips, I would pay about double for a real size scoop of guac, and it was good though, could not really tell if it was fresh which leads me to believe it is not. We hosted a company party here, and everyone had a great time! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The buffet was set up on time, and was fresh and delicious. Tortilla chips are homemade and addicting, the chicken and Italian beef was tender and tasty, and they accommodated our request for veggie trays. This place is horrible. We attended the New Year's Eve bash and what a disappointment. They were extremely rude ans snippy with everyone. They never ordered the items in their flyer for the kids. There were no desserts. You had 'll ess then 30 minutes to grab your food and soda. We took the pitcher of soda to the table and the women screamed at us. The DJ was the worst ever! He only played mash ups and half of the music was from the 1950's...and not the good music the truly obscure. The bathrooms wwere filthy...took a pic wish I could post it. The walk ways were not shoveled so people were slipping all over. for amount of money it cost you could go place have more fun and be treated better. If you are looking for a good old fashioned bowling alley, this is your place. It's not fancy at all - just a regular old bowling alley. They have good specials at different times during the week, specifically we like the dollar games on Sunday morning. They also participate in the Kids Bowl Free program during the summer, so check that out if you have kids. The service has always been friendly, the lanes function well and they are kid-friendly. read more

This place get's only 2 star's, One for their pool tables, and the other for simply bowling. The reason that i dislike and like this place is due to how close it is to my house as it would take only 5 minutes to get there. The main reason i dislike this place is due to the fact that they take "reservations" making you feel lied to when you arrive with your group of friends to see only have the lanes are taken yet you and your friends are forced to wait an hour or so just to play a few games. What's more is that if your with a big group and decide to play a friendly team game, make sure your careful when switching team members as they will shut your lane down if they find you traded lanes with your friends even though you and your friends PRE-PAID, and are in the same party. read more
