    Tacos

I stopped in to get my summer bowling pass and realized I was hungry. So I got the Barria Tacos...and to my surprise, they were fantastic !! I believe they used flauta type shells as well which was an added delight. Theres 4 to choose from, Chicken, Birria, Shrimp and cauliflower. They come in 3 per order and If you're looking to mix and match- sorry-Can't do that but you can Take two friends and share. The only reason I'm not giving this place a 5 star is because I miss the Zodo's bowl by the hour. Other than that

I used to love coming here last summer, but the quality really went down this year. I got the summer premium pass this summer, but regularly have to wait 45+ mins for a lane during a weekday after work, which never happened last summer. The shoes are also so run down and ripped up - can't believe they still give these to customers. The front desk could not sort out the waitlist, so we ended up waiting 45 mins for nothing, and they said it would be another 40 mins on top of that. Absurd. The front desk also said they couldn't merge game cards, but when we checked at the game desk, they could merge it. Don't really understand why you would want to come here unless you like waiting and poor service.

Bavarian pretzel for me, pepperoni pizza for her

We were driving through the coast without any real plans or reservations, not typical for us but sure was a lot of fun. Our first stop was at a nearby hotel. So we came over to have a drink and a quick appetizer. Drinks were a little pricey and my first round of pretzel bites were super burnt. But I will say that the bartender did get me a new round of pretzel bites. My wife's pizza was pretty decent.

Disappointed just don't have high expectations and watch all your possessions. Employees have sticky fingers like most of the surfaces.

It's a beautifully relatively recently renovated bowling alley. They need to start cleaning the place up though!!! It's really sticky most places you may touch. The bathroom sinks are moldy which is mainly from the complete lack of decent cleaning its really nice aesthetically though. A great destination to bowl with family and friends!

Great experience. Staff is a bit overwhelmed but super friendly and helpful. Waitress brought drinks directly to our lane, and a pitcher of water for the kids. Get the summer pass for a super good deal that pays for itself in one visit.

How could it possibly cost $185 for 2 people to bowl for 2 hours? It's unfathomable but a reality at this place.

We came in to practice and the place was mildly busy but still it was way too hot and the AC should be cooling this place! I've been bowling here for almost 5 years and four years in league and the air-conditioning in this place is absolutely the worst! The owner here doesn't seem to care much? This has been an ongoing issue as long as I've been coming here. Word has it "they are working on it" ya whatever! For Four years!!?? I'm not the only very dissatisfied customer! EVERYONE in our league is a sweaty mad mess! Especially being that it's a full house making it more uncomfortable.

There is a small arcade area as well. Checking in and getting the shoes was very easy and the staff was courteous. I forgot how flat with no cushion the bowling shoes were. It actually got me a little nostalgic and brought back the memories of when I was in high school and bowling with friends. The lighter weight balls, especially the 8 lbs, had really small finger holes. It's probably made for kids but I'm quite petite and was only able to put about half my fingers in before it felt too tight. At one point the colored lights came on and it seemed more like a dance party. This was at like 3:30 in the afternoon and it lasted about half an hour so I didn't understand the reason for that. The lights actually made me bowl worst because it somehow affected my vision. It does get it a bit hot after a while, with so many people in there it would have been more comfortable if they turn up the air. All in all it was a fun afternoon.

We came in -- myself, my father, and my son -- looking to buy bowling balls and left with an experience that genuinely exceeded every expectation. Rusty was absolutely exceptional. A true bowling professional in every sense of the word, his expertise and knowledge of the sport and equipment is on another level. He took the time to walk us through every aspect of ball selection, took detailed measurements, and explained everything thoroughly and patiently. No rushing, no upselling pressure -- just genuine expertise and a real passion for helping bowlers find the right fit. The kind of service you rarely find anywhere anymore. The balls were then professionally drilled by Karl, who clearly knows his craft. Pricing was all inclusive -- ball and drilling together with no surprises -- which made the whole experience even more straightforward and stress free. Great value for the level of service and craftsmanship you receive. What really set this experience apart was what happened next. We came back a couple of days after our purchase to get the balls properly fitted and the team went above and beyond -- offering us a free game to try everything out and work through any sizing adjustments needed on the spot. That kind of follow-through is invaluable and shows just how much they care about getting it right for their customers. Three generations of our family walked out with perfectly fitted bowling balls and a level of confidence in our equipment that only comes from working with true professionals. Pro Zone at Winnetka Bowl is a gem. Highly recommend to any bowler at any level.
