I recently celebrated my sister's birthday at a local bowling alley, and I have to say, it was an absolute blast! The bowling lanes were clean, the shoes were in great condition, and the entire place had a vibrant and energetic vibe. What impressed us the most, though, was the exceptional service we received. The staff was attentive and accommodating throughout the entire celebration. Alexis insured that we had a great experience. She provided helpful suggestions for game variations, and even helped us set up the scoring system. Their dedication to making our experience enjoyable was evident in everything they did. Additionally, the pricing was reasonable, and the variety of food and drinks available at the bowling alley's bar was impressive. We were able to enjoy tasty appetizers and refreshing beverages, all conveniently located right by the lanes. It was the perfect way to refuel between rounds of bowling. Overall, I cannot recommend this bowling alley enough. The exceptional service, friendly staff, well-maintained facility, and overall fun atmosphere combined to create an incredible experience for my sister's birthday celebration. Almost a year ago I wrote my last post about this place so thought we would give it another try before school started. Hate to report it has only gotten worse. Latest manager, Kevin, is running the place into the ground by not only being rude to the customer for what only seemed to be because I might have interrupted his break but hearing how he spoke to his staff was very disrespectful. Bathrooms were disgusting, worse than a gas station I didn't even want to sit down. I bowled with my children and there were spills on the floor before we got there, even chicken under the seat, Carls Jr across the street is cleaner. Does this place own a broom and mops? For a company to be charging these prices should have the funds to have a clean facility and have a manager from the hospitality business. This place used to be our go to even after Bowlero bought the place a few years ago but that's when they had the kindest manager who treated you like a friend and you would see her working everywhere , it was always clean, and I didn't have to search for an employee to help. It was a fun and safe place to take your family. Do better Bowlero, this is a small town where reputation matters. read more

I recently hosted my 13-year-old's birthday party at Bowlero in Goleta, and it was fantastic! We chose the Varsity birthday package, and it was incredibly reasonable for everything included. For a very fair price, we got bowling shoes for ten kids, delicious pizza, crispy fries, and refreshing drinks, two bowling lanes for two hours, and 10 arcade cards with 20 points each. When we arrived, we were thrilled to find birthday decorations set up around the food table, complete with my daughter's name in lights! This unexpected touch added a magical start to our event. The manager and staff working that day were extremely helpful and friendly, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The whole experience was effortless for us, and the party kids had an absolute blast! I would highly recommend Bowlero in Goleta to any family looking for a fun and memorable birthday experience for their young teen. We couldn't have asked for a better celebration! read more

Bowlero's inexplicable decision to close early--without any notice or explanation--completely ruined our night. My friends and I had planned this outing in advance, looking forward to unwinding and spending quality time together, only to arrive and find the doors locked and the staff dismissive. It was not just disappointing--it was infuriating. The lack of communication or even a basic courtesy heads-up shows a staggering level of unprofessionalism and disregard for customers. We rearranged our schedules, made the trip, and were left standing outside with no alternative and no apology. What was meant to be a fun, memorable night turned into a frustrating and disheartening experience, all because Bowlero couldn't be bothered to operate with even the most minimal respect for its patrons. read more

I have been coming here for years and it feels like a corporate business , the warmth is gone, They are always under staffed with one or two people doing everything. Don't get me wrong they try to be friendly and do their best but watching them try to do everything even stresses me out. Lately, has anyone else seen the lanky guy just sitting on his laptop as if he owns the place but doesn't even help. I was told he is the head manager from LA which shows he doesn't care about his staff. So sad it was such a local favorite and they got rid of the one person who tried to keep that local feeling going now it's just cold. I suggest going axe throwing or ice skating before this place. read more

The supervisor Alex is unbelievably lazy and rude. He is much more concerned with being social with the female staff and hitting on customers than he is with doing his job. Last week my wife and I came in to get drinks and hang out for a bit. I got up to use the bathroom, only to come back to him leaning over the bar, hitting on my wife. Several times people tried to get his attention on their walkie talkies. He verbally blew them off, moved to a table where some girls were sitting and started hitting on them. Trash. As long as he works there, we won't be back. read more

What happened to our local alley. I don't even know anyone working in there anymore there is constant turnover. The floors and bathrooms are dirty. My server was spilling beer on the floor. Probably why there are always black lights so you can't see the filth. This is the negative example of corporate company not caring about its locals and workers. You feel no joy walking in and it used to be fun. The management before was amazing and cared about the alley and customers. Just sad and I hate leaving poor reviews but this is just that bad. read more

This used to be the place to go for a full evening of fun from food to play and now it's just an expensive building taking your money. The lady who used to run it knew the hospitality business and now the general manager himself complains about the place. An order of fries was more than $10, just go across the street to McDonalds the food is better. read more
