This place was super nice inside of a plaza in Little Tokyo. It's located on the 3rd floor and there is parking in the structure which can be validated by the staff in X Lanes. I was very pleased with our time there - we made a 9 pm reservation and was able to add more time later. We ordered food - some hits some misses but everything was decent. Our party ordered mocktails and cocktails - the verdict on the drinks was half and half. I thought my mango mule was just okay. It was lacking the mango flavor. The staff were accommodating and the location was clean and fun! We will be back!

When we asked for an accommodation, the security guard was rude and told us that if my son wanted water, he could walk all the way to the entrance every time, despite the distance from the bowling area. Hoping to resolve the issue, I spoke with the manager, Luis Gonzalez, but unfortunately he was just as dismissive and uninformed about autism and disabilities. Rather than listening and showing compassion, he was rude and unwilling to understand my son's needs. Businesses that serve families should make an effort to educate their staff about disabilities and neurodiversity. With autism becoming more widely recognized, basic awareness, empathy, and reasonable accommodations should not be too much to ask. This experience left us feeling unwelcome and unsupported. I will also be reaching out to upper management, including Cynthia Torres, to make her aware of this situation and to see whether changes can be made. As an autism mom, it is my responsibility to advocate not only for my son but for other individuals with autism and disabilities as well. No family should have to experience being dismissed or treated without understanding when simply requesting reasonable accommodations. My hope is that this feedback leads to better education, awareness, and compassion from staff so that all guests feel welcomed and respected.

Another super late review, but better late than never, right?…read more In May, 2015, I was in town for E*TRADE's annual Directions Conference, staying at the JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE. On Wednesday, the 13th, I still had not eaten dinner and found myself hungry, but it was late, past regular restaurant hours. No problem, I thought, since I was in Los Angeles - there had to be a food truck or taquería nearby, right? Afterall, I was in Southern California...and I was hit with a sudden craving for tacos. Wendell advised against walking around the neighbourhood alone, for safety reasons. Fortunately, I found out that LUCKY STRIKE at L.A. Live was just steps away from me...and they were still serving food. Perfect, I went straight there to get my grub on. I arrived around midnight to a very cool, upscale bowling alley. The atmosphere was similar to a discothèque with dim, hued lighting and music playing. Unfortunately, I was flying solo, so didn't bowl. I went straight to the bar, pulled up a stool and perused the menu. Since it was past 10PM, I was there during HAPPY HOUR. I was stoked. ...and guess what - the menu offered tacos! Although I didn't come to play, I was still winning! You know it - I ordered STREET TACOS, a trio of shredded BARBACOA braised beef, YUM! Of course, I took advantage of HAPPY HOUR and ordered a cherry vodka sour (concoction of vodka and grenadine, on the rocks) to wash down the Mexican handhelds that I devoured. My tummy was very happy. The bartender who served me was polite and friendly. It was my very first solo visit at a bar and conversation with him made me feel like I was in good company. I guess I had a lucky strike at LUCKY STRIKE. Enter happy face emoji here.

The screen showed around $12 per game earlier, then later it jumped to about $15 per game the same day. Not sure why the price keeps changing, but it feels like they charge more whenever it gets busy. Place looks nice and the LA Live location is convenient, but the cost adds up fast, especially if you bring family. For what you pay, it doesn't feel worth it. Between bowling, games, and food, you can easily spend way more than expected. Not a terrible place, but the inconsistent pricing and high cost make it hard to come back.

We held a milestone celebration here for our construction crew, what a great experience!…read more First off all the staff were friendly, helpful and hospitable. This felt like a classic bowling alley- no gimmicks and no silliness. This place features a bar & grill, two pool tables, a fair amount of bowling lanes, and a small arcade. The dining area seating is plenty and the touchscreen displays at the lanes make setting up your games very easy. This place was clean, professional and didn't feel "corporate" if that makes sense. It definitely took me back to when I was a kid, bowling in a league with my uncles, very nostalgic. Our host gave us a quick rundown and rules which was great for anyone who had never been bowling before. Our party was pretty big (I think 30-40 people) but the staff was great in keeping up with our hungry carpenters. The food was good, I definitely rate it better than all bowling alley food I've ever had- but not quite "sit-down-restaurant" quality. That's OK, we were there to bowl and have fun. Everyone had a fantastic time. I highly recommend for group events, parties, dates or family fun. I leave one star off for parking- there is very limited parking and maybe I missed something but it seemed like the closest option was meter parking or up the block, most of our guys parked a block away in a public lot.

I used to bowl on a league so the way the ball grips matters to me, and the new floors just don't do it the same. I understand that it doesn't matter for most people, and that's also fine, but I prefer the original flooring. All in all it's still a really good time. The bowling balls haven't been changed since I worked there so that definitely needs to happen. These are chipped and beat up. You can actually hear the bumping sound of some of them as they go down the lane. Our company had a group outing there and the one important thing to know is that they charge an 18% service fee, which is NOT gratuity. So you would need to add gratuity on top of that, which puts you at around 33-38% on top of your total package amount. Nobody was able to tell us what the service fee was paying for.

My fiancé and I used to have Dave & Busters passes, so we knew we would enjoy Round 1. Upon entering, we went to activate a game card and Javier helped us out. He was friendly, and efficient. I was walking towards the back with the Japanese toy machines when I saw there was a Disney Photo Booth. I LOVE photo booths and make my fiancé take a photo with me every time we see one, but I'm also a huge fan of Stitch, so this was perfect. I have never seen a Disney Photo Booth before and was super impressed. Then we made our way to the claw machines, and here's where I wasted all our money. There was this panda nigiri that we really wanted and I was convinced if I just hooked the claw around the tag's loop we could get it. We spent all our money on this until about our last 3 swipes when Javier magically appeared and taught us how to do it. Just one try after Javier's instructions, my partner got it! We then went to reload the card since we wasted all our money on that one panda, and played more claw games, but this time the mini ones. I had so much fun- I got the duck ramen on my first try! Then we went back to the infamous panda nigiri machine to show that machine who's boss and BOOM I got a second one on my first try (thank you Javier for the tips!). It was so much fun and all the employees I interacted with were so friendly and sweet. I really enjoyed how the employees wanted to help us win. So much fun for a little date activity!

It's humongous, has reasonable structured parking right next to it with tons of spaces, and the win rate was very generous. It's attached to an inside mall that I didn't put a foot in, but I imagine it's a nicer mall based on the surroundings I passed. They seem to have a very large space inside, and a healthy volume of people roaming through all the aisles and arcade games. The people at the counters were also numerous and attentive. Yeah some machines were very weak and some had cheese wheels, but I think a majority were reasonably fair. I'm from NorCal and Burbank is by far my favorite Round1 at the moment. I liked this location so much that I had to visit it twice during my trip. I'm not too sure what to do with all the jumbo prizes I won! I will say though, this location has the laziest workers I've ever seen. We asked people to help us several times, and the usual response was "I'll get someone else" or being told to wait for nothing. You have to be extremely proactive and annoying about requesting for help. They're one of the first receivers of the gashapon and they're cute little keychain trinkets or figures, but ultimately I wasn't really interested in any of the random anime IPs.
