I took my nieces and nephew. We had a great time. We bowled, ate & won prizes at the arcade. It was a fun night. Good times!

Our children are competitive bowlers, so we spend a great deal of time in bowling centers, including various Bowlero locations. We also frequently visit family in the Jacksonville area, and today marked our third visit to this particular Bowlero. Unfortunately, for the third visit in a row, we encountered Debbie. I rarely leave negative reviews, but she has consistently been one of the rudest and most unpleasant employees I've ever dealt with in any bowling alley. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but experiencing the same behavior on three separate occasions is unacceptable. Because of this, today will be the last time we spend our money at this location. I did give a few stars because the facility is always clean and well maintained. It's just incredibly disappointing that the first person guests encounter leaves such a negative impression. read more

Tried to come here on a Wednesday night for bowling with my son. The lady at the counter was incredibly rude barked at me they were booked and I didn't have a chance to bowl that evening. I'm still not sure why she even asked me what I needed if she knew there was "no chance" to bowl. It really put me off and I will not be returning there's other options. 6 of us went to bowl at this Bowlero. Our experience was NOT up to par. Our Bowling lane was broken, they tried to fix it and did not work. Then, they got angry at us for their lane being broken & continued to blame us for the mistake. They did give us some free bowling, but I won't be using that. Terrible. read more

Used to love this place! But we went tonight and got an arcade card to play in the arcade. There's a roulette type game all the way on the left and we landed on the jackpot, 1000 tickets. The machine started blinking and said "you won the jackpot!" or something like that and showed 1000 tickets as the prize. We pulled again and got a 25 and then a 4. We go to check the prizes and our balance and the card says we only have 29 tickets... I talk to the staff and one woman tries to help but isn't sure what to do. Another guy comes and says that the machine gave us a false jackpot and there was nothing they could do. If I spend my money on a game and it hits jackpot and says "1000 jackpot"... how is that false? If I was in a casino and got 1000 dollars and everyone saw, the casino can't just say "oh the machine shouldn't have done that." That would be illegal. Wouldn't be a big deal but the kids were disappointed they couldn't get a prize and the manager was dismissive and told us they wouldn't give us points nor a prize worth the value. read more

When you're in town for the holiday and are trying to entertain 5 kids, consider Bowlero Southside! From start to finish, they were patient and helpful, even giving us some great swag for booking a lane online in advance. We requested both bumpers and a ramp, because kids, and they had the best time. Everyone was kind and the interior looks really nice! We tried to go here on a Sunday afternoon, the parking lot was empty, over 50% of the lanes were empty and there was an hour and a half wait. All the bar seats were full of children. I do not understand how more than half of the lanes were available and there was a wait. We also found it very unacceptable that children were seated at the bar. This place seems poorly run, we were very disappointed and will not be returning. read more

So apparently they attempted to do some upgrades to their facilities it looks like lipstick on a pig. The old layout was more effective. Now they have replaced the old chairs and tables with wobbly cheap replacements . We literally bowled one game with the equipment working like shit. It would reset in the middle of ur set and give points when no one hit any pins downs. They also decided to get spiffed up menus but don't be fooled the pictures look good and menu prices have increased to outrageous amounts but the food still taste like shit and came from a box that their teenage to early 20's staff can't even figure out how to fry or microwave with the Sam's food directions. If you go don't order the food you will be sick and don't plan to be keeping a real bowl score. super nice staff! They helped me with a refund on our food which we never got. I didn't have a receipt so the waitress said she was going to go through her transactions and see which one was ours based on the total of our order (which did take a while but completely worth it she was super friendly). I did feel bad for her, there were people screaming at her and some managers and calling them all idiots. mind you these customers were completely childish and mean, they put their own names in as "deez nuts" because you know that's what normal, full grown adults do. I felt so bad for the staff so I made an account on yelp to support this business!! Like I said, really friendly staff! They joke around with you and are super helpful (albeit super busy). 10/10 will come again! read more

Came here on a date night during me and my wife's honeymoon, I have a feeling she's going to leave me after this. To start off we bought an excessive amount of alcohol to fuel the night only to be told we can't get tap water without paying for a soda. After countless arguments with the lady behind the bar she lended us a cup "on the house" seriously. With not even 2 turns in the lane broke and had to wait for 30 minutes to even get someone on our lane. Safe to say, we will never recommend a soul to come bowl here. This place sucks. We ordered over $60 worth of alcohol and $30 worth of food. They wouldn't even give us a water without charging us. They also don't have bottles of water to purchase? So charged us for literally a cup of tap water. The food is trash. If I could give zero stars I would. We will never come back waste of time and money. read more

they told us to wait in the arcade then seemingly forgot about us for 30 mins until we reminded them of our existence, since they didn't take our name or number down. took our money for two games. as we were playing our second game, towards the end of the night they shut off the machine. Now, this would have been understandable if they hadn't allowed other people to finish out their games. so as we were leaving there were literally people still bowling. That 30 mins in the arcade we spent could have been spent playing that game we paid for on one of the open lanes. This place has turned for the worst since their renovations. read more
