I have come here for several different reasons. I live close by so its accessible. The first reason is for the food. On the second floor they have a nice dining area with tables where you can sit for a nice dinner and watch the races. Its a nice place for celebrating events like Birthdays. My family loves their Prime Beef. Its their house specialty and its 12oz potion but is only open the weekend menu. They used to have a buffet that was AWESOME but I think they only have it on holidays. I enjoy any of their many appetizers and of course the desserts are scrumptious. Each floor has a different menu like the Poker Room and the first floor has food stands but all the food is great. They also have a event room on the third floor that you can rent for party's and they offer catering. Theirs a lot more to this place than the dogs so walk around and check it out.especailly the 2nd floor. :)

With dog racing/betting still around through 2020 this place is still alive and well through COVID. You are required to wear a mask inside the building at all times even at the tables. Social distancing is not really possible at the tables, so do at your own risk. You can view and do the dog betting from inside or watch outside with safe social distancing.

Support your greyhound racing. Masks are required, and safety is important here. Come support an industry.

Not big on the gambling here, but came out for the comedy show that they started having in the lounge on the third floor. We weren't sure where to go but we happened to pick the right entrance because there was guest services. I picked up my tickets, shown to the elevators, we rode up to the lounge. The floor itself was spacious but the comedy show area was small. It had a stage, with a brick background similar to another famous comedy place here in Jax, and maybe 20 or so tables. The food and drink menu was pretty basic, with appetizer's and salads with beer and wine. We had already eaten so we just ordered drinks. The comedians are the same comedians that go to the venues on Phillips Highway and Beach Blvd so if you like one of them you have an opportunity to see them again in town. The show itself was great. We sat in the front so we got a lot of the high fives, fist bumps, and other responses from the comedians. For attending the show we each received a two dollar wooden nickel to play downstairs but we didn't use them as we aren't poker players or dog racing fans. I wouldn't mind attending another show here.

The rolls I ordered were just low quality. Like I was eating store bought sushi. Don't think I will come here again. It was sub par. Service was fine. I ordered Green tea, Steamed Pork Buns, Wonton soup, and Sizzling Steak with white rice. The Green tea came right away and it was a single cup. I had to order tea again to get a refill. The Wonton soup was served and it literally had no flavor. I opened a couple of the wontons and there was in fact a small piece of pork inside, but it had ZERO flavor, no taste whatsoever. The broth it was served in, had not a hint of pork. I asked the server about the flavor and she said she would have to ask the cook, but they never got back to me and they didn't offer to take it off my bill. I do not consider this good service. The Steamed Pork Buns were served and again there was no pork flavor. I broke it half and handed it to my girlfriend and she tasted it, no flavor. We even tried to eat the pork in the bun separately and it had no taste of pork. I wondered if it was actually pork. The last item was Sizzling Steak with peppers and onions. The steak was tough and very chewy and again there was no flavor. I could taste the onion and peppers, but the steak had no flavor. I don't think I have ever had such a bad experience in an Asian restaurant. The pictures I shared are different than the menu, the pork buns I shared are the actual. The menu shows 4 buns. The white rice was a very small serving, my girlfriend said they didn't provide enough rice. If you have eaten here and enjoyed your meal, post a review. I personally would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I give one star only because the Kung Pao Chicken was very good. Everything else was not worth what I was charged. I would also confirm what another customer posted about the seat covering in the booths. Note: I have not tried any of the sushi, or anything except what I wrote in my review. I forgot to take a photo of the Wonton soup.

It was a week night and it had quite a few people in the restaurant. We ended up having a private show, I say that because we were the only ones seated at our table so the chef catered to us directly. Talk about VIP treatment #spoiled I loved it!!! My meal was the chicken and steak hibachi while my friend had the same with the addition of shrimp. The meal was yummy and so was the salad with the dressing. Fast service, clean establishment, attentive chef, great food all to me equaled superb customer service! Clone this experience every time for me please.

Service was friendly, and the basics were basic and fine. But our sushi roll (ordered as an appetizer) didn't come out until halfway through our meal and it was more rice than anything else, to the point that all other flavors were covered by rice. Highly disappointing. The chef was fine, but didn't even comment on the child's birthday. Neither did the server, but did at least put a candle in the fried ice cream that I ordered (and paid for of course) that I asked for when she was starting to ask about the check. The check was to be split 3 ways and was done wrong, and I just paid the extra on mine instead of dealing with it. The bathrooms were filthy. We used to go here several times a year, and it really seems to have gone downhill.

I know I'm probably not gonna be popular with my opinions, but they are in fact my opinions in my feeling about what I had today. Food--4/10. If you know me, I hate to leave less than stellar reviews for places. But I was very unimpressed by the food here today. Almost everything was bland and locked flavor. The gyoza was over fried, the hibachi items were cooked well but lacking all seasoning, the mango rock roll tasted like nothing, and the spicy shrimp tempura roll had neither flavor nor spice. The only decent role was the sweet potato roll. I'll also say even the wasabi had no kick. I literally took the entire dollop and put it on a roll just to try to get some flavor from it. Also for the tempura items, they don't bring you any kind of Ponzu or dipping sauce. All you get is the regular Yum Yum sauce or soy sauce. I left my review at a four out of ten because all of the food items were prepared for the most part aesthetically, pleasing, visually and fully cooked pour the parts that were cooked. Service--7/10. The staff here was definitely amiable. I wouldn't say they were very friendly. They kind of addressed everything very mechanically. Even the food when it's brought out multiple orders are brought out by one person, and they dropped them at various tables without saying a word. I did not get a refill of my drink for the first time until the end of my meal. Atmosphere--9/10. This is one of the few times I have not taken a picture of the interior of a restaurant to share the atmosphere. Usually, I avoid taking pictures when there's a good amount of people around because I feel like I'm invading their time with their meal and companions. So all I can really say about this location is it is generally pleasing. It's it's clean. I'll be a bit crowded with the tables. The location is in a strip mall in Mandarin and parking is a little weird. The parking spots are very close though. All know it was an OK visit for the price. I feel like in my personal opinion there is much better sushi out there for only a couple dollars more per person for the buffet. But based on the crowds, they're even today it's obviously a popular location. It just was not my idea of good sushi.
