Very fun place to go bowling, the drinks are great, and there is also arcade games. Pricing is reasonable and it is a well maintained place.

this place sucks the lanes are poorly maintained, and the ball machine is to close to the lane for it to be comfortable to throw the ball.

Decided to give Homestead a try despite the lengthy drive compared to other local houses. Although the house is on the smaller side, they take care of things and feature a whole lounge style bar. 32 lanes, free fall pins, Brunswick ball return, still working well! We rarely ever had any issues with balls getting stuck or needing to call in for any attention on the lanes. Will (front desk) took care of us and ensured a positive first visit. We enjoyed it so much that we are now Friday evening regulars. On top of Will's exceptional service, Jose (bartender) also provided exceptional service manning the bar. The sweetest lady operates their open kitchen and she is super efficient. Their offerings are pretty typical as far as bowling food is concerned but that doesn't discredit that the food still hits. We'll continue to be regulars for the foreseeable future!

The score counting was awful! The technology they used to count how many pins you knocked down was completely unreliable. It counted extra pins at least 5 times a game. The first time it happened, we called over the attendant guy and he fixed it which was nice, but it happened so often we didn't even bother calling him over repeatedly. We didn't order food Ambiance was actually pretty nice

There are two entrances - one on the second floor of the mall and an outside entrance on the same side of the 24 hour fitness. For both entrances, they will wand you for any weapons to ensure safety. From there, you can explore to find claw machines, arcade machines, a bowling alley and pool tables and darts. The collection of claw machines are from pop culture like Hello Kitty, One Piece, and cute animals. There are specific claw machines where you'll need to glad a staff member so they can unlock the machine and give you your prize. My partner wasn't too pleased by the collection of plushies since her round 1 in Roseville has a lot more to offer. Nonetheless, it was fun as we all got stuffed animals.

Round1 in San Jose is a large entertainment complex that combines bowling, arcade games, karaoke…read morerooms, and claw machines under one roof, and the format works well enough as a group activity destination even if individual elements have their limitations. I walked into a space that gets loud and warm during busy periods, and cleanliness varied by section, but the overall setup gave my group plenty of options for a few hours of entertainment. The arcade is the strongest part of the offering. I found the selection of rhythm games solid and reasonably well maintained, and the claw and gacha style machines are what Round1 does better than most chain arcades. That said, individual claw machine plays run around four dollars, which adds up quickly if I am playing multiple rounds, and the tension on the machines is inconsistent enough that results feel more variable than skill based. The prize section near those machines tends to run warm compared to the rest of the floor. Racing games, fighting games, and photo booths fill out the rest of the arcade floor, and the overall variety was broad enough to keep my group occupied. Bowling is available but came with some caveats. The ball selection skewed toward smaller finger holes and very heavy options, with limited middle ground, so bringing my own ball would be worth considering if I bowled regularly. Party packages are available and include shoes and games, which streamlines the booking process for larger groups. For a casual group outing, birthday celebration, or evening with a mix of activities on offer, Round1 covers the bases adequately. Going in with realistic expectations about the cost per activity makes the experience more enjoyable. It is not a refined destination, but for what it is, it delivered a fun few hours.

They also have a monthly deal where paying $20 gets you one hour of free golf and a free appetizer! Speaking of the food, I got the Mediterranean plate last time and it was pretty subpar. I liked the pita bread and the hummus, but I hated the other sauces. The veggies weren't cut thin enough, so they were actually pretty annoying to chew at some points. The gameplay itself is fine! It's fun to just hang out and learn a lot from the people around you by checking out their form. The ball machines do malfunction sometimes, which happens. Also, if you're left-handed, you can just ask a staff member to bring you a left-handed club set, which is nice. As for the venue, parking is easy and there is EV charging right out front (though the charging is kind of expensive). There's a cool store in the front, and the vibe is great--there were lots of people hanging out for the FIFA games. Most importantly, the managers here are really nice. We had a couple of mishaps, but they refunded me some money and are very generous with giving out coupons to make things right, so it was all good. Overall, it's not a bad place to kick it with some friends and have some fun.

They have a cheaper option too- $199 for the same length of time, but walk ins only, no reservations. The time allotted is 2 hours for up to 6 people. We've been going about once a week and it's so worth it! When you order food or drinks, you also get 10% off for having the summer pass. Our favorite games to play are angry birds and sonic. Service is alright. We get a text when the bay is ready so we go straight there. They recently changed to QR code ordering so we don't really interact with people there (only when food and drinks are being delivered). Overall we have a good time here and still have about a month left of the summer pass. Highly recommend!
