I've been to Bowlology before, but this was my first time checking out this location. I thought it was really cool that it's connected with Island Grill--it gives you a lot of options if you're with people who want different things. I got the Berry Good Bowl with whey protein and dark chocolate, and it definitely hit the spot. It was fresh, filling, and the dark chocolate added a nice touch without being too sweet. The place itself has a nice, clean vibe, and the staff were all really friendly. Service was quick, and everyone was welcoming from the moment I walked in. We normally stop in for the Bohemian #4 bowl, but decided to grab a bite to eat. We tried the Da breakfast spammich, 9th Island BBQ beef, & the garlic chicken. The spammich was SO good. When my boyfriend tried it, you could tell he wanted one himself. Even said next time he's going to get it. The beef was really good, the garlic chicken was okay. Dont think we will order that again. Workers have always been friendly. The tables do need to be wiped more frequently as each time I've gone we go to sit and have to switch tables or grab a napkin to wipe our table, thats my only issue but other than that good little spot with quality food. First time here. Ordered the Wicked Tuna with ahi and OG sauce. The fish was fresh, the sauce was tasty, and the toppings were generous. They were out of edamame so allowed me to sub another topping. The portion size was just right, and the $14 price was a good value. (The food was so good that I forgot to take a picture!) Evan was very friendly and patient with us being first time customers. The poké salmon and tuna did not taste fresh at all and had a very weird taste to it. The entire poké bowl was mostly rice, which I see as a waste of money. Not only was the poke bowl barely edible, but the service was absolutely AWFUL. The young girl wearing sweatpants with eyelash extensions was very rude to us while checking out, raising her voice at me not to touch the keypad even though it's habit, and the entire staff weren't pleasant also. My friend and I were looking for a study spot but didn't want to go to our usual coffee shops. This place has great wifi and comfy chairs! It can get a busy and it was a bit loud for studying. So glad I finally got to check out Bowlolgy! I went right when they opened and there were multiple there which was a sign this was a good spot go check out. I hadn't had an Açaí bowl in awhile so I knew that was something I would get. I got the Berry Lover one which included strawberries, blueberries, bananas and granola! It was DELICIOUS! Immediately after taking a bite I knew I'd be back again because this was a healthy treat. My friend I was with got the PB lover and that's a nice fun one with chocolate, peanut butter and bananas. The staff was so friendly and while we waited (no more then 5 minutes) for our bowls we noticed they had a large covered patio. We asked if they allowed dogs on the patio and they said yes. I live very close to here and have seen it many times, but finally decided to try it Saturday. I got the 9th island poke bowl with tuna, you also have the option of salmon. I loved it! The sauce is like a thousand island style and it was so good! There were also crispy onions and crispy garlic on top which made it smell amazing. The bowl was $15 and a very good size. The staff was friendly and helped with my questions, like what the difference between the different sauces was. Because of the Costco the shopping center can get pretty busy, but this food is worth it. I'm excited to try the smoothie bowls next! This location was conveniently close to the Costco and exactly what I needed when I stopped in! Great staff, they were super helpful and suggested the BEAR BOWL W/ GRANOLA which was awesome. Instead we got the bohemian 4 and that's been our goto since. This place serves regular food too and it could take a while to finish your order. We were looking forward to trying this new place. There was one other customer (a family) ahead of us who was obviously undecided, which we understood as we were also new to the menu. (We were the only ones in line.) Their indecision carried on as a chat over each item with the cashier that lasted close to 15 minutes with no acknowledgement of our presence by staff. We really were being patient until we couldn't anymore. Maybe ask if we're ready and have another cashier help us? There were other employees milling around with no eye contact made. Also, the dining area wasn't kept up. Only two of several tables were occupied with some tables not cleared or wiped down and also the floor needed sweeping. Unfortunately, and it can't be helped that the first impression is a lasting one which will keep us from returning for a second visit. Went there today and it was a clean place. I was waiting for this place to open for a while. The girl in front seemed busy and not greeted for a while. She called once ready some moments later. Restaurant was empty had only one person waiting for to go order. I ordered the poke bowl and it was so blunt. Rice was stuck in clumps. Looked better than tasted. Shout out to their staff for their service recovery of replacing my Makai bowl. Honestly take your time and just go to the one on eastern. Definitely worth it. For one, portions here are a lot smaller than eastern. I have gone to this location 3 times and 2/3 times have they given me so much less than the other location. They don't even fill it to the top. $13 for this?? No granola added to the bottom either.
