I love the esthetic of Juice Standard! The ambiance in here is so classy and modern at the same time. Lots of seating for a juice bar, so it's perfect with a small group, plus they have some games you can play when with people. I've tried a few of their smoothies and pressed juices so far, and my favorite is the vital vibes smoothie and the bee cosmopolitan juice. Most of their juices are premade in glass bottles. They guy there was telling us they make and bottle the juice everyday. Pro tip they do let you sample before you buy. We used the Yelp check-in BOGO 1/2 off for the Bee Vibrant and Bee Cosmopolitan and still felt like it was not worth paying for considering it is only 10% juice and 90% alkaline water. The Bee Vibrant tasted like something I could make at home - lemon juice and cayenne. The Bee Cosmo didn't taste that different from the latter and mainly just looked unique because of the bentonite clay. Also gave the chagaccino a try. This was pretty good and it's interesting to have an umami flavor at the end of the sip. Would I get it again though? Likely not. One could only hope that their other juices with more than 10% juice content would be more worth the money but I'm not returning to find out. My issue is that I ordered a $12 panini and the worker with gray lipstick comes up to me in the quietest voice you can barely audibly hear and says that they don't have enough bread for a panini sandwich. She offers avocado toast, I say that's fine. I wait 15 mins wondering what's taking so long to make an avocado toast. Finally, she comes to me with a container with a literal piece of untoasted bread with avocado and 4 pieces of radishes. The menu is primarily vegan and vegetarian with the minimum footprint of carbon. The care for ones heath rings true here, but the message that the company is trying to convey is even deeper than that with connections to heal the earth and humanity. Change starts with us, we have to be the example to show others that the experience is worth the trouble. The crew here lives what they preach. The footprint that they use is so minimal. One of the ways is with the use of "real" recycled cups and control of their paper products. It does not take away from the experience if recycling is not your "thing baby," but it's beautiful to see a business that does what they preach. To juice or not to juice, this can be a wonderful cleanse to your body. It's hard to do than you might think. Needing that proper level of juice tonic can be better said than done. I have juiced and only lasted for four days, but when I found this business and the caring compassion that they share with their customers I was able to trust I can juice again and it not harm my health. I have an extreme fragile balance that I have to maintain and need to maintain a high energy level too. When I juice the concoction that they whip up for me has to have caffeine in it. I have found that in the personal touch that they have provided to me. It's not even an extra charge for their advice it's the benefit that they are passing on the love and compassion to their fellow humans that share in their same ways and values. I have a real big obsession with The Juice Standard and it's definitely REAL BIG! I was in the area after getting my lashes done and grabbed some lunch so I thought to myself, hmmm, I think I'm getting close on my punch card. And yes, THEY DO PUNCH CARDS! How amazing is that?! I feel like most local businesses have done away with the good ole' punch card, but thankfully The Juice Standard has not! I have one more and I've got my free one. I walked in and it actually seemed to be pretty busy for a Friday afternoon. People were in there working and eating breakfast. Definitely a great quiet spot to go to to work, so I definitely want to keep that in mind. I ordered my two favorites, the Bee Happy and Bee Cosmopolitan. I love that these come in glass containers, too. I've actually painted a couple with chalk paint and used around my house, but you can actually bring them back to the location, too, which is wonderful. I love that they reuse and recycle them! My husband has been sick for a bit, so I ordered him the wellness shot. They put it on ice for me and put in a container, which was so nice. Definitely kept it fresh by the time I got home. He wasn't expected the spice, but it certainly helped him. He said he was already starting to feel better after it, which is awesome! It's amazing what the natural juices do for you. Another thing I love about this spot and this business is that ALL the juices are made fresh! The expiration date is legit, and isn't like three years in advance so you know those juices are fresh and delicious. I always feel so much better when I'm drinking these.
