Almost every appointment includes recommendations for add-ons like deshedding shampoo, which increases the overall cost. Today's visit was especially disappointing. I was told for the first time my dog has dry skin and they proceeded to point it out, though it wasn't clear what solution they were leading into--possibly another added service or product recommendation. Then I was told my dog had "a lot of matting" underneath her undercoat. They showed me the area, and honestly, it did not appear severely matted at all--nothing noticeably different from what she's had during previous grooming appointments with them. The owner continued explaining they weren't sure how long brushing would take before shampooing and because of that there "may" be an additional $25 charge. The uncertainty around the pricing was frustrating. I came in expecting a simple shampoo and haircut, but was quoted $115 with the possibility of additional charges depending on brushing time. The owner even suggested I take my dog home, brush her myself, and bring her back--which I found surprising. On top of that, I was told pickup wouldn't be for another 4 hours. To me, that feels excessive and seems tied to taking on too many dogs at once. If my dog is already staying for that amount of time, I struggle to understand why there may still be extra charges added. What's most disappointing is the amount of surprise fees and added services, especially as a long-time loyal customer. Every pet owner I've spoken with--many with the same breed--typically spends around $60-$70 for grooming. Also during our conversation another customer came in and waited with his dog , when clearly on their door it says one customer in store at a time . The owner should have made that clear as I felt uncomfortable all while another customer stands there listening in. Upon my arrival, there was another customer there with his dog and I patiently waited outside Needless to say, just be aware that during visits, additional services may be recommended that can significantly increase your final bill. -- A disappointed loyal customer

Leaving my annual review update for my favorite groomers/ people!…read more I just can't believe it has been over 10 years since I first brought my rescue Puffy and they so generously groomed her after she was neglected for so long. I still can't believe they took us on a busy Saturday. I still can't believe they were so patient with her. And I still can't believe that I had to fight them to take my money! Having them take care of my own baby who they never made stay in the crate because i spoiled him and so he hated them. And who they opened up early for to do his last grooming before he passed. To now caring for my new baby Barron and he looking like a million bucks every time he leaves! A poodle with parents that don't comb/ brush him as they should... and squeezing us in when they can because busy is not the word! Honey if you groom like they do, care for one's fur baby like they do and are affordable in this day and age of gouging grooming salons - you simply stay busy. As they should! I'm so proud of their growth and the relationships they form with their customers and most importantly their furry clients. I drive over an hour to get to them. And when I travel or they are booked my poor baby has to get Mom's bad in between face cutting BUT I refuse to go anywhere else. Ever. Just not worth it. They are exceptionally sweet and never send our pups home with a chopped up cut! We had used a local service who was rude and apparently not equipped to handle scared pups! Review to follow, trust me! I highly recommend this place and suggest you book regularly as sometimes they are backed up for months! If you know your pup's shedding season then I recommend you call months in advance to schedule for the correct timing. Especially large breeds. Never had a choppy service or complaint. Parking is very difficult, but you can double park for a quick moment or in the yellow with hazards on just to drop off! I now choose no other groomer, but them! I called about 2-3 weeks before I was actually able to bring them in, which is when they had their next available appt. which I definitely understood especially with COV19. I really love how they took their time with my pups and giving them the trim that I asked for yet still being gentle with them. They were very understanding on the fact that they were scared/ nervous since it was their first time being there. They have a few accessories/ supplies for sale as well as some refreshments if you're waiting but I believe that was pre- cov19 LOL. Very good work for their price. They accept cash & cc's and parking was easy and very accessible.
