We came here a few times for our dog and had a good experience, although I find it odd you cannot use a credit card. The grooming was done well, but the front desk person was not exactly polite. On our 4th or 5th visit our dog came home matted and clearly not brushed out so my husband called to speak with someone about it. The woman who answered the phone was extremely short, unapologetic and when he asked to speak to the manager she said they weren't available. When I tried to call back later that week, my calls just kept going to VM and my messages went unanswered. Very unprofessional business needless to say. read more

It pains me to write this because the work they do and Carlos in particular is wonderful. After few years of bringing our beloved dog to them, and being very happy with everything, we were told that our dog had a terminal diagnosis and only had a few months to live. Walking in and telling the owner the situation we asked for an opportunity to have him groomed while he was still able to do so. I asked if she could fit him in in the next couple of weeks and she told me that she was totally booked. I was floored and devastated that she could not fit us in. read more

Arrived a couple of minutes early for my 1pm appointment, the manager or owner - not sure which, was going to take my pup to wait. When I asked her how long, she said at least 30 minutes. I asked her why she did not call me as we would have come at 1:30, but she just shrugged. No apology. (My pup stresses about being groomed) I told her we would come back in 30 minutes. When I came back at 1:30, she said it would be another 30 minutes. I said "goodbye". I also want to mention that a second dog was on the other workspace, while the first dog was just standing there alone with no supervision. I had my pup groomed here last time and Carlo does a great job, but I will not be returning. Very disappointing and uncaring small business. read more

I have an adorable 5 pound Maltese, who I get groomed every 6 weeks. My normal groomer was out of town for the week, so I took him here, and I just feel the need to warn you. First, they will tell you that it costs $55 over the phone for the grooming. But once I got there they said it was an extra $18 to file the nails vs just clipping them. I have a baby, so I need them filed so the dog can't scratch him. That service is usually included with normal groomers. Then they said it was an extra $10 because he had knots/matted. He was not that matted, and I pointed out the areas that had a few knots and that I normally cut them out, but since I was bringing him in to get a cut I didn't worry about it. Bottom line... they charged $91.70 (cash only) for what I normally pay between $55-$60 at any other groomer I've been to. And... the kicker... they butchered his ears/face cut! I told them specifically not to cut his ears too short, and she wacked them off... after I mentioned that they charge more than every other place I've been too. It totally seemed like she did it out of spite. I had showed her a picture of how I wanted it done, and said not too short, and his ears were hacked off. I'm disappointed with the cut, and the "extra charges" that somehow added up to $92 for a 5 pound Maltese. Addendum to add picture of the butchered ears: Owner said I've been the only unhappy customer. I can't believe that to be true since the employee literally lobbed off my poor dog's ears out of spite because I said they were expensive. The same employee mocked me by saying she could NOT file the dogs nails if I wanted to "save some money". This is after I had already paid the full amount. I wasn't asking for any type of discount or refund... merely saying they charge a lot more than I've paid elsewhere. Since the owner is lying that the picture is not accurate I feel the need to share that this picture was taken as soon as I got home, 10 minutes after I left the grooming appointment. Obviously customer service isn't a priority, or honesty with this place. I wouldn't have even posted just because I thought they were pricy... I posted BECAUSE she PURPOSELY butchered my dog's cut after I told them they charged much more than my normal groomer. And NO, I did not approve chopping the hair off. I actually repeatedly said DO NOT cut too short. read more

I mean, if you want high quality grooming, come to City Dog Spa. I've never been disappointed once. My bougie miniature schnauzer loves this place, and I love it for her. NO KENNELS, just a bunch of dogs living their best lives roaming around getting pampered while their paWrents run errands. They also have a cute selection of pet goods if you want to spoil your furbaby even more. Tip: They book pretty far in advance for Saturdays of course, AND cash is preferred. I called here last week to see if they were able to get my chihuahua Nina in for a full grooming, they were fully booked however they were able to squeeze her in for a wash. When I got there They took her in and Nina was so calm with the groomer Nicole, and she was very efficient. I will definitely be bringing Nina back for a full grooming, thank you again! read more

From the first phone call I made to inquire about pricing and the facilities, the staff was incredibly professional and friendly. They answered all of my questions over the phone and were more than happy to have me stop to check out the facilities. The boutique is spotless! And I love the open pens the dogs are kept in rather than being stuck in cages. We've never had experience with a groomer since our last dog didn't require grooming but this was the best experience we could have hoped for. Our 2 year old terrier mix got a great cut, had his nails clipped and even got his teeth brushed. The staff was fabulous from start to finish. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! read more

Excellent. They dont over book appointments. My dog had a basic grooming of wash, dry, cut, nails and anal glands. She was finished in an hour and fifteen minutes. The grooming came out exactly as I wanted. The staff is very friendly and the price was right. Very happy with the service. So happy they moved into the neighborhood. read more

Excellent experience! Our groomer moved out of state and our little dog is nervous and temperamental and many places won't touch her. Paula was incredible! She did a great job of being patient and figuring out what worked. She was empathetic to our dog's anxiety and clearly has the right demeanor and talent to work with animals and our dog looks fabulous! I would give 10 stars if I could. read more

After bouncing around from groomer to groomer I was referred to City Dog and was amazed at their place. Opened concept, cage free and the groomers are spectacular!
