Service was excellent. Decor is unique and makes you want to take home the paintings for sale. Torta had a spicy sauce to it but the breading on the milanesa was on point.

The place is really nice and colorful. We came in rather early and had a nice booth with a beautiful brass table top. The seats were super comfortable as well so, decor-wise, this was already looking good. The place got packed very quickly and to-go orders did delay our food a bit but it was well worth the wait. The Reuben (pastrami not Turkey although this options is available as well) was incredibly good.

Loved this place! Great food, love the homemade chips + avocado mango salsa. It has a little kick but so good! I got the turkey avocado, simple but refreshing and tasted delicious. Grilled Reuben was temperature hot but SO good! We all enjoyed our food and drinks. The waitress was attentive and refilled our drinks often. Overall the place is nice and clean. They do have a patio, but it's waaaay too hot to sit outside. We'll be back!

Guadalajara Chalupa

Stopped in for lunch today to try the Chalupa. I saw that someone had posted that it was really good in San Antonio restaurants on Facebook. I was in the area so I decided to try it. I got the Guadalajara, which is the bean and cheese Chalupa with guacamole on it. It was to die for. Not only was one Chalupa extremely filling I couldn't stop eating it even though I was already full 3/4 of the way through it. It was absolutely delicious. I used to come here for dinner and eat steak bites and the salmon dish, which were amazing. I popped in around lunchtime and just ordered it to go. They were extremely quick. The staff was nice and prompt . I definitely will be back.

Good: 4/5 - I got the 1/2 Reuben with a cup of gumbo, wife got the Thai beef salad and our friend got the Greek salad with chicken. Food was tasty and came out pretty quickly. Only reason for the 4 was because of the sandwich- pastrami was sliced too thick so messy to eat. Ambience: 5/5 - cozy, nice decor and comfortable seating. No loud music which was a plus. Service: 5/5 - friendly staff, checked on us often without getting annoying. All in all a delightful experience and we will definitely return! Ps: Fun fact - my ex-wife of 18 years used to go here every Tuesday to meet a friend and have lunch and play mahjong. I refused to visit here but my current wife was adamant and so we went. I thought they would have retired a booth in her honor . Who knew my ex-wife loved good food cause we sure didn't get that at home.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in San Antonio! This is a perfect place to go for lunch if you are craving a fabulous soup, salad or sandwich. We also love to go here for dinner with wonderful appetizers and steaks. Great wine selection. This is a family owned business and there's a great deal of pride shown in the food and service. Cute dining room or if the weather is nice enjoy the outdoor patio.

Pam's has perfected the feel of a small neighborhood bistro along with a mouthwatering culinary experience. I've been here several times now, and each visit is better than the last. The Chicken Saltimbocca is to-die-for. The tenderness of the chicken is perfectly paired with the creamy savory sauce. The Stacked Enchiladas have an explosion of flavor, especially with the fried egg on top, and the Steak Diane was a special one night and the mushroom sauce was nothing short of phenomenal and the steak cooked to perfection all paired with a delicious Pinot Noir recommended by a manager who was more than welcoming and helpful. This place is pretty tucked away, but is definitely a hidden gem that I was lucky enough to be introduced to. You won't be disappointed!

It's always a great meal at Pam's Patio Kitchen. I laughed when the hostess asked if we wanted to eat outdoors. No thanks. It's 100 degrees. I don't understand people who eat outside in this heat. Ruben, who recently came to Pam's took great care of us on this visit. He has a lot of restaurant experience. It was a hot day and I enjoyed a Live Oak Pilsner. Lightm crisp, a little hoppy, and refreshing. We split a Caesar salad and you can taste the anchovies. Legit. My wife had the nachos and there was a big ole pile of tasty guacamole in the middle and a molcajete of pickled jalapenos. Not too hot, but very flavorful. I had the Salmon Pomodoro. Seared fresh Salmon fillet topped with Sun Dried and fresh Tomatoes, capers, purple onion, and Basil leaves beside fresh Spinach steamed with olive oil, wine, and garlic. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the topping flavorful. I asked for lemon to add a little acidity. The side was sauteed spinach, which was very good. My wife ordered strawberry cake for dessert. It's not chocolate. but the cake was very moist and so tasty.

We headed to @pamspatiokitchen for lunch today. I had seen it a few times when shopping in the plaza. Dad and hubby had the Strawberry Lemonade, and I had the Mimi Rose. Hubby started with a cup of the Chicken Tortilla Soup, and he loved it. Dad and I shared the cup of Cream of Zucchini. It was good as well. We got Dad the Grilled Ham and Cheese. He enjoyed the chips and salsa that came with the sandwich and ate half. I had the Chicken Salad on foccacia bread. It was only ok, nothing too special. The sandwiches are huge, so there were plenty to take home. Hubby had the Guadalajara Special, and he finished it all.

My friend Miranda invited me out to lunch. She asked me what we should so naturally, I Yelped places. Pam's came up as a perfect lunch spot located between both our areas. I sent you the link and she said let's do it. When I arrived in our scorching hot weather it was nice to walk into a cool place. We ere created by the host and seated promptly. The place had a nice, clean, cozy feeling. They had a plenty of options that meet my needs. I ordered the veggie club special with water since it was hot. My husband ordered the bean and cheese chalupa with an unsweetened tea. My friend ordered a chicken sandwich. Our food was delicious!! The salsa was the best I have ever had! It had such a spicy kick that I craved more. Let's say it cleared out my sinuses. Everything looked and tasted great! When I saw fruit with my meal I was expecting a small mix of assorted fruit. You know mango, grapes, strawberries. They gave me a small slice of an orange. I also had a dill pickle spear which was nice. Overall, I would definitely recommend. The ingredients are fresh and the quality definitely matches the price. My husbands chalupa looked good so next time I want that. If you're in the area give this place a try. It's a nice place to cool off and have a nice meal that doesn't leave you bloated.

I had she zucchini fries. The serving was big enough to share. It came with a side of marinara. For my meal, I had the avocado toast with poached eggs. The avocado has just the right amount of lime. It came with a hash brown patty. The hashbrown patty was just ok. For dessert, we shared the pancakes. They were sooooo good. Definitely full of butter, but not complaints from us. A reviewer mentioned that being here gives the feeling of hanging in someone's wine cellar which is the impression I got as I set foot in here. With the word wine being the in name of the establishment, you will find an extensive selection of wines available by glass and bottle and categorized by white types and red types. Being a Zinfandel guy, the bartender turned me to the Girard "Old Vine" Zinfandel. This is a pricy wine at $25/glass. I enjoyed the hell out of it as it's one of the better Zinfandel's I've ever had. Definitely steep at $25. I probably should've gone with the wine flight which is what my friend did before he switched to a Malbec. I forgot which one he did but the flights are all prearranged to compliment one another. It makes for a nice experience if you're not sure what wine you want to zero in on. As for food, we paired our wine with a charcuterie board. It's a standard board with some baguette slices and a mix of cheeses and meats with a candied jalapeno spread. A very nice compliment to wine. They have happy hour, wine of the month, and a wine/dine theme for every month where they pair wines with a themed menu. Plus sangria is available as well. Also there is wine tasting every Wednesday so the place gets packed from what I heard. But I'd certainly be open to attending one. Can't wait to come back here!

It was nice and slightly effervescent, just as I expected. I enjoyed the charcuterie plate and the bruschetta, but next time, I would skip the meatballs. I also want to try their pizza on a future visit. The service was lovely, and the staff's suggestions were great. I found the little cautionary signs around the place to be both helpful and humorous. I appreciated them, especially since I wouldn't want to be the reason for a bunch of wine bottles falling off the wall! My favorite part about being there was feeling like I was inside a wine cellar. It's a charming place.

On our second date night here, that sense of quiet magic hadn't faded, it had deepened. The best seat in the house isn't tucked away in a corner or draped in linen, it's the countertop. From there, the kitchen reveals itself in full, an intimate, unscripted performance. We spent the evening watching George at work, composed, exacting, and quietly brilliant, plating each dish with the kind of confidence that only comes from mastery. The meal itself unfolds like a carefully written story, each course building on the last. A white mushroom salad opens the evening with understated elegance, earthy, delicate, and impossibly fresh. Then comes the country fried quail, crisp and indulgent, yet refined enough to avoid feeling heavy. The Spanish octopus a la plancha is a standout in its own right, perfectly tender with a delicate char that adds depth and richness to each bite. The Napa cabbage arrives almost playfully, topped with bonito flakes that are still gently moving from the heat, a dish that's as mesmerizing as it is delicious, balancing smoke, salt, and subtle sweetness. It's a moment that pulls you fully into the experience. The heritage chicken is deeply comforting yet elevated, cooked to a tenderness that feels effortless. And then, the standout, the Sitka wild king salmon. Perfectly executed, it flakes at the slightest touch, rich and buttery without losing its clean, natural flavor. It's the kind of dish that lingers in your memory long after the plate is cleared, the best salmon I've ever had, without question. And just when you think the evening has peaked, the $10,000 carrot cake arrives, a whimsical name for a dessert that somehow lives up to the hype. Decadent, balanced, and unforgettable, it closes the meal on a high note that feels both indulgent and deserved. What elevates the experience even further is the thoughtfulness of the staff. They effortlessly accommodated a low carb approach for my husband, who is diabetic, without sacrificing creativity or flavor. It never felt like a limitation, only a seamless extension of the menu. Throughout it all, the team moves in seamless harmony, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. There's no pretense here, just an unwavering commitment to excellence. This isn't just dinner, it's an experience. And after two visits, it's clear, this place isn't just consistent, it's exceptional.

We recently dined at Clementine and had a really memorable experience overall…read more We opted for the "Feed Me" experience, and every dish that came out was delicious. The mushrooms were especially delightful, featuring raw mushrooms sliced thin and topped with freshly grated cheese, which was incredibly flavorful. The eggplant pasta was probably my favorite of the night with lamb hidden within the big pearls of couscous. Our server, Bianca, was phenomenal--warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. She added thoughtful tidbits about the menu and checked in often without being overbearing. She intuited that we were celebrating my birthday and surprised me with a card signed by the team, which was such a lovely moment of unreasonable hospitality. Everything went smoothly until just after dessert. As we were finishing up, my friends gave me birthday gifts, and I was opening them when we were presented with small brownies and asked by another staff member to move to the patio. We completely understood the need to turn the table, especially during a busy service. However, it was a cold day, and while we were told we'd be seated by a heater, we ended up in a corner where the heater wasn't on. We were given blankets, but it continued to get colder. After waiting a bit, I flagged down another server who was able to turn the heater on right away, which helped, this part of the experience felt abrupt and we also felt kinda forgotten. We finished our wine and conversation on the patio, and while it became more comfortable once the heater was on, the transition felt a bit rushed and could have been handled more smoothly. Overall, the food and service--especially from Bianca--were excellent, and the birthday touches were truly appreciated.
