Again, I preface every review of any business in this plaza, that parking can get a bit fisted. Especially since the lines are drawn so compact and close together and by the abundance of shops and restaurants in this plaza, so based on the time that you go, it can get kinda spooky in that regard (definitely the Aldi construction is adding to that and will definitely drive up the number of customers to the plaza). I was welcomed immediately when I came in and the workers were very welcoming and friendly. Even though there were so many self check out stations, she went out of her way to help me scan and check everything out and bag everything for me. I actually came here to grab some Halloween goods to build Boo Buckets, but the selection (1 week before Halloween) was quite slim. I was able to get some individually packed larger candies, which was nice. I couldn't get the actual bucket so I had to drive over to the other side to Dollar Tree for that. There's starting to be way more Christmas goods at this point. I love that there isn't a huge rush for Squishmallows as there used to be in the past, so I can always find a new cute squishy friend here. There's also some more affordable anime goods, and kawaii goods (Sanrio), board games, party favors, small purchases perfect for filling up gift bags or stockings, etc. And my most favorite is the weird, uncommon junk food here. The cost of Monster energy drinks is comparable to what is at the gas station and that's a huge plus to me. Got to finally try the Java Monster and Buldak potato chips here. Keith immediately jumped in to help, bringing me multiple styles and sizes to try on. He was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to talk to. Because of his friendly approach, I felt comfortable trying on items I normally wouldn't have considered. With Keith's help, I ended up building a beautiful summer vacation capsule wardrobe. I also found out both a teacher and healthcare professional, I qualified for an additional 15% discount, which I greatly appreciated. The best part is that this shopping trip inspired me to go home and completely clean out my closet. (FYI - I like to be left alone when I'm browsing, but a courtesy hello would be nice when you come in). In about an hour, I pulled around 18 pieces to try on and found several great additions to my summer wardrobe while staying within my budget. The only frustration was that many items in the XS section were mixed with M, L, and other sizes, making it a little harder to shop efficiently. The associates at the register were friendly and professional, and they listened when I shared feedback about the loud music in the fitting rooms. Overall, I'm glad I finally found a shopping method that works for me. What used to feel intimidating now feels manageable, and I left with some wonderful pieces for my summer wardrobe.

I really did like though that they had a tablet in the dressing room where you could request your sizes so that was actually super cool. The guy that was helping me was quick and friendly.. but there was a girl who was there too and she was rude as hell. The Brea mall has done lots of remodeling lately. When I asked the employee at the counter if she could cash out the remaining balance on a gift card of approximately $2, the manager very curtly and loudly, bellowed to the employee across the room as she continued tidying up what appeared to be accessories, "No, we can't "; the employee then had to convey to me, "No, we can't." No explanation given, very much a "Yes, your majesty" exchange between employee and supervisor. She then was talking to the employee about me while I was looking through the clothes, saying, "She probably used it online and so we can't give them cash back, but if she bought it in the store they could have", rather than having a conversation with me, the customer, directly. She then reshared this information with me after asking me if I had purchased online and told me that I should have bought it in the store. We didn't find anything and we just left. Her rude demeanor is probably a contributing reason why I didn't purchase in-store the first time. Lesson learned. I will not be visiting any time soon and it is apparent that others have learned the same lesson. The store looked tidy, new and neat though, almost castle-like. An extra star for cleanliness.
