I see the waitress, still talking to the table, and then she leaves me waiting inside at the bar for another 10 min (20 min of talking at this point). She never acknowledged me and I was tired of being disrespectfully ignored, so I left. I am a very patient person, but that was ridiculous!! I can totally understand being short staffed. But at this point there were no other patrons in the restaurant and she simply wasn't doing anything but talking. All the tables were dirty, the bathroom was gross, the outside bar was covered in drinks and everything just looked sticky! The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and we were seated much faster than we expected. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The atmosphere is hard to beat, especially with the beautiful waterfront views and the live music on the pier, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was the seagulls, which can get pretty aggressive once people finish eating. That's obviously not something the owners can control, and it certainly wouldn't keep us from coming back.
