They did offer me $2,000 in credit if I let them keep the watch. Something told me to get the watch back. Which I did. A family member told me about the watch mechanic. I figured that I had nothing to lose. Within a week I was wearing my vintage watch again and it keeps perfect time. I will never buy another Breitling again. I read reviews of local watch repair shops and decided that Clockworks was good for my small repair - but I felt a little bit bad taking a wristband repair to someone so skilled in actual watch and clock repair, but I made the right decision. Mr. Achmet had the right tool to replace the pin - and two other people came in with similar repair requests while I was waiting. My wrists are very thin so he removed some of the links. I noticed when he told the other customers what he was going to do, he made sure the links were evenly balanced. It fits well now. This was technically not a watch repair but rather a wristband repair, while I was waiting I realized what a wonderful resource this little shop is. I will be returning.
