Went with my husband and son for lunch before my son left us again to go back to college. The service is really nice. I think they could use more help but I totally understand being the only one with multiple tables. The food is also yummy. The chips and salsa. Umm... my favorite salsa from a restaurant. It's somehow just the tiniest bit sweet and makes me so happy. My husband ordered the burrito with melted cheese on top. I ordered the nachos. So... this is where my hiccup is. Their menu doesn't match what comes to the table. I ordered my nachos the way I like them. They came perfectly except there were beans all over them. The menu does NOT state beans, otherwise I would've requested to NOT have them. And cuz she was the only one there I did have to wait a bit for assistance. So my guys are about done eating by the time I got my nachos back. But once they came without the beans... Omgoodness. So good. Yes. So yes. I will go back. But if you like your food specifically I would ask questions. Even if it seems like the most basic. ASK. They do have a lot for parking. read more

The food was generally ok, but nothing special. I ordered the steak fajitas which were swimming in grease. They only gave me 3 small tortillas and asked for a few more which they charged me another $2. I never would have asked for more if I knew that beforehand. Everything else was average. We were the only customers inside, which telling about a restaurant. I also gave the server a 15% off coupon which he never deducted. I thought the store bought chips and tomato paste for salsa was bad but I ordered three different enchiladas which were worse. The steak was old, hard and freezer burnt. The chicken was boiled and have no idea what the third was. The margaritas had no alcohol which would have helped hide the fact that the food was horrendous. Food was very tasty (I got the steak tacos and rice), chips and salsa were good (salsa wasn't too hot and had a sort of sweet flavor to it), and my margarita was well made. I first had take our here & it was really good. So since the food wa good by he time I get home, I decided to eat at the restaurant. I've been eating inside the restaurant every week since December. The customer service is awesome & the manager is really nice. The food & Margarita's have been great. They have half off Margarita's on Thursday's. It's a great way to try all the flavors they offer. Came twice for lunch. Happy with my experience. The restaurant was quiet, clean and had friendly waitstaff. We've tried steak burritos and al pastor taco dinner. Both times our meals were very flavorful. The only thing I didn't love was the house salsa, but it is complimentary anyway :) read more

Highly recommended and great new restaurant in St John. Food is delicious and tasty. Did not experience any issues during my visit. Ordered the Chorizo Queso Dip and Taco Dinner, both came out great. Dined with a party of 4, everyone enjoyed their meals. The included Salsa and Chips are flavorful. Salsa is better than Pepe's and chips taste like they are made in house. I cannot give any positives. Ordered a 3 taco steak dinner on flour tortillas. Waitress repeated the order and said with corn tortillas. I corrected her and she went away. My wife ordered a Margheurita which was like a glass of sugar water. I ordered a beer and when I opened it the smell was rancid. When the waitress came back I told her about the beer and she took it back and brought me a different beer brand. Which was fine. We received our meals and I had corn tortillas. I pointed this out and she took it back. When it was brought back you can tell they just scraped the ingredients from 1 tortilla to another as half my ingredients were on the plate. When we got the bill, they still were charging me for the rancid beer. She said they could not credit it as the bartender said the beer was fine. I was extremely disappointed, I ordered the bistec steak ranchero. It should be called donkey ranchero. It had a horrible taste of old dried out meat. With an entire can of bad sauce poured on top of it. The salsa is out of a jar. I also ordered a margarita and had to purchase another shot since it was only mixer. Awesome food, delicious tacos, the salsa is so good definitely can taste lots of flavor and is authentic. We visited from Chicago and literally tried 4 different taco places during our stay and this was by far the best. Wish we found it on our first stop because we would have came back multiple times! Service was great & the inside of the restaurant was decorated really cute and was clean. Tables were more than half full.
