I almost purchased a 2021 Audi Q3 from EchoPark, and I'm really glad I paid for an independent pre-purchase inspection. EchoPark advertises a 190-point inspection and states on its website that vehicles have no fluid leaks and that brake pads under 4 mm are replaced before sale. My independent Audi specialist found: * An upper timing cover oil leak. * A lower oil pan gasket leak. * Rear brake pads measuring approximately 2 mm. When I brought these findings to EchoPark, they acknowledged the oil leaks but dismissed them as "minor seeps" that met their standards and said they would not repair them. Their explanation was essentially that because oil wasn't dripping onto the ground, they didn't consider it a problem. The brake pads were even more concerning. EchoPark's own published standard says pads below 4 mm should be replaced, yet this vehicle was being sold with approximately 2 mm remaining. Only after I pointed this out did they say they would "look into" replacing them. This wasn't a cheap vehicle either. It was priced above the average market value for comparable Q3s, yet would have required nearly $3,000 in immediate repairs according to my mechanic. The most disappointing part wasn't even the condition of the car. It was the response. Rather than standing behind their inspection process or working toward a reasonable resolution, they simply dismissed legitimate concerns identified by an independent German automotive specialist. If I had trusted EchoPark's inspection instead of paying for my own, I would have driven home in a vehicle with multiple oil leaks and brake pads at the end of their service life. If you're considering buying from EchoPark, spend the money on an independent pre-purchase inspection. It may save you thousands. read more

Attempting to sell my car. When I arrived, someone took my key and asked me to have a seat. 30 minutes later, nobody had even looked at my car. After 10 minutes an associate returned my key, upon my request and I left.  Communications were poor from start to end. EchoPark sent me a text message that they had sent me an email. Email and texting were used off/on.  Prior to the visit, I kept asking if there was transportation available to me if the car was bought by EchoPark. There were no replies to that question. Many associates walking around, lots of customers inside, seems to be a back-office bottle neck. read more

Shopping for a car because mine broke down. I had an appointment at 2pm with these guys. Didn't get a salesman for over 15mins after walking in at 2 pm. I asked them to help me with a buyers order for my credit union they responded with " oh we don't do that" and wanted me to test drive the car without knowing if I could even afford it. 0/100 would not recommend. It's that time where I have to start looking for a more reliable vehicle so my first stop was to Echopark to see what sort of inventory they had. I was impressed that the cars were sorted by manufacturer with the more luxury vehicles upfront, natch. I looked around and while many 2025 vehicles were on hand, they had extremely high mileage on them (some at 28k while others were up to 43k) with pricing still the same as new. I did find a Honda HRV at just over 4,500 miles. Echopark posts a spec list and shoppers scan a QR code to get further details about the vehicle, pricing and to set up a test drive. I tried the latter but never once got a sales rep to help. In fact, I never had the chance to actually speak with anyone. I walked the lot on my own, and no salesperson ever approached me, no simple greeting was made nor offering of any assistance. I left rather disappointed from that experience. read more

They lied straight to my face. They reached out to me wanting to buy my Toyota 4runner I had for sale locally in Fort Collins. We agreed 4-5 times that $29,600 was the price they were going to pay me when I arrived after driving the 3-4 hour round trip to them. Well, if you can imagine, the price we agreed upon suddenly changed to $28,000 once I got the car there. They are predatory and hoping I was going to be desperate enough to drop the price we agreed to $1600 after wasting all my time. I wasn't desperate enough for them to take advantage of me and drove the car all the back to Fort Collins. The sales staff at Echo Park, Centennial Colorado have earned yet another 1 star review. Looking at the track record, it seems as if this is how they've been trained to operate. I am stationed overseas and shopping for vehicles in the states. I have been doing this in one form or another since 2008. Since 2008 I have closed deals on multiple vehicles at dealerships across Texas as far away as Georgia. I even bought my house while I was overseas. I found this 2014 Nissan Xterra and the price was right and I was ready to bring my part to deal. I knew in advance that I would be the one responsible for moving the vehicle from Denver to San Antonio. On my first e-mail I received the one and only response from the sales staff. "We don't do that." I sent follow up emails, asking for options. It's important to understand that I was prepared to arrange for a trusted associate to travel to their location to do the paperwork on my behalf with a POA from my attorney. If that did not work, I was going to retain legal representation in Centennial to be present at the sale of the car. I sent many emails offering options that would allow the sale to be completed legally and with all manners of due diligence observed. The tone, or complete absence of any tone, from the folks in Colorado was jarring when compared to the super friendly and helpful website. Even an Echo Park Guest Experience representative in New Braunfels Texas contacted me and was very helpful. None of this made sense nor did it compare with past car buying experiences anywhere. None of this made any sense to me so I persevered and started the online application process to buy the car. I figured once they saw the preapproval from one of their in-network lenders that someone would finally call me back. I received approval on the Echo Park web page in less than 90 seconds. No one emailed or attempted to call. NO ONE. Not to say that the car was sold, the car was on contract, or that their policy strictly limited their ability to complete remote sales. The sale ended with an open pre-approval to purchase a car from Echo Park and no sale. This has never happened to me before. Every serious deal I have ever negotiated resulted in a completed sale. Every single car loan I have ever signed, paid on time and in full. In the end I can only conclude that the sales staff at Echo Park is so poorly trained that their management team does not trust them to initiate or complete remote sales correctly. They state that their policy is in place to prevent scams. Since they never contacted me nor attempted any due diligence in this matter, they would not be able to learn any facts about the buyer. Their current policy guarantees that they will continue to lose sales and that they have no interest in working with U.S. personnel employed overseas. The staff here are friendly enough (why wouldn't they be? They're trying to sell you something). However, the rates here are *criminal.* And the big red flag? This company only accepts loans from lenders that are "in their network." Even with a well-above-average credit score, good luck buying an affordable car at an APR lower than what you'd be quoted for a standard personal loan. Auto loan rates--even for well-used vehicles over a decade old--should be substantially lower than those of a personal loan. 8-9% is already high for a used car (with solid credit). 12.5%?! And you're trying to tell me that's a competitive rate? Y'all are smoking crack. You can get pre-approved for over 5% less by going through an online credit union. I *highly* recommend purchasing from a dealership that allows outside financing; places like this clearly have special partnerships set up that allow them to take an even thicker cut than usual off the top of the contract. Bad buying experience, even worst customer service. Shady Practices They don't disclose that $30K, 2 year old car is a total scratch-and-dent. The BLACK car hood was over sprayed with RED paint. Their multi-point inspection is a joke, the car had "Oil change due" and low tire pressure warnings. Covered in dents, scratches, hanging exterior molding with broken clips. Clueless Staff Sales guy Jake argued that fixing dents was not even part of their service even though it is clearly stated on their web site (see screenshot ). I purchased my car at an Echo Park location that has since closed. Part of the contract when I purchased my car was "LIFETIME" free car washes. This was a major selling point as I am in sales and I like my car to look good. I replaced my windshield and my sticker for the wash was gone. I stopped into this location get another sticker only to be informed that the no longer honor their lifetime carwash policy. Apparently the wash was being over used buy the customers who purchased cars from them. The result was the cars on the lot for sale weren't getting washed enough. What a load of hooey. The sales people made this experience extremely uncomfortable. They badgered me about the extended warranty until finally I purchased one. They do this stupid thing where they tell you a really high car payment, and then they tell you they can get you a lower payment even with the extended warranty. They do it by extending the rate on your loan into forever. The warranty was for like 30k miles (the car only had 30k miles) and they wanted like $3,000 for it. We way overpaid for the car, but it was the one my wife wanted. I will never go back here. read more

I purchased July 10, 2024. I purchased a car that had previously been a rental car and did not have sun visors. The manager put in my contract that they would order me new ones. Well, a month had gone by and still no sun visors so I had reached out and they told me the manager had quit and never followed through with the order of my sun visors. Now, I'm a store manager myself, and as a corporation someone should be looking into any undone tasks left by previous management. Sun visors were then ordered so I was told, but weeks went by and still no visors. I spoke with a manager and he said they had still not been ordered so he would order them. I came in in JANUARY because they had finally arrived. The technician Matthew (who has been wonderful) showed me the visors and they were covered in dirt and did not match. He said he did not feel comfortable giving me those visors and would get new ones ordered for me. I came in TWO MONTHS later in March because the "brand new" ones came in. I once again packed up my TWO TINY KIDS, a 4 year and an 6 month old, and went back to the dealership. Once again Matthew had to give me bad news. The sun visors were not new and were broken. He was mortified and I thank him for continuing to advocate for me. I asked about how long for new ones to come as I was told they were going to once again order me new ones. They said about a week. I'm confused why it took 6 months the first time, 2 months the second time, but ok. It's now been 3 weeks I am still waiting for sun visors. I had asked if they could possibly help me out and do an oil change for me. They said they do not do that. I can't believe it's been almost 9 months of owning this car and their end of the deal has still not been held up, and they have not offered to do anything to help me out. The only reason for the star in the review is Matthew. He's been a great advocate. I've made multiple trips to the shop now with my kids only to be turned away. Which is also crazy that they aren't inspecting them before calling me. It seems someone up top does not know how to do this job to the best of their capability. This is a safety issue and has been going on for far too long with me left not taken care of as well as not being valued as a customer. Evidently, part of Echo's "exceptional standards" include selling a vehicle that needs a transmission flush, has a cracked axle boot that is torn and slings grease, has brake fluid with high corrosion, the back up camera is in poor condition... and they did not honor repairing any these after leaving my vehicle with them for a full day. I bought a thorough post-purchase inspection from a very reputable 3rd party auto service, three weeks after I bought my Jeep. It turns out my vehicle which Echo Park claims went through a 190 point inspection with their "exceptionally high standards" in fact, has major issues that will cost me close to 3k to fix. I made an appointment and left it with Echo service for a full day after sharing details about the issues. They left me a voicemail saying my vehicle service was complete. I went to pick it up assuming they fixed the issues. Nope. I requested a recap of the service performed and they say all the issues are regular maintenance issues and fixed nothing. When I questioned why these basic items were not addressed in their 190 point inspection, all I get is the run around. Not to mention, one month later and my financing has not been completed. And I have no credit problems, so why is it taking so long to complete my financing? So, be ware, they make cars look pretty on the outside and evidently don't fix anything even if they do "inspect it" before putting it on the lot. And after multiple purchases at each of their locations, they are horrible at completing the paperwork and finalizing documents and financing once you leave the door. read more

Should have read these reviews before purchasing. Where do I even start. The sales representative was under qualified to be in his position, giving false information and not properly filling out simple paper work such as the sales agreement that they had to over night to me to get signed. Very unprofessional. After harassing us for an hour about getting their warranty, even going as far as to bring the manager out to harass us about it after we said no a dozen times. He then proceeded to misinform us about how the process for getting a new key was. Thankfully Bri at their customer care center was able to help me with that one but it should have never even had to go to her in the first place. They also said they were going to "detail" the car before I drove off the lot. Their version of detailing is just wiping it down with what I assume is armoroil. Spent the next two days actually cleaning the dirty car they sold me off their lot and I still have yet been able to get everything out of the creases. Then when it came to registering and titling my car they took longer than the 30 days which caused a $25 late fee. I also had to go back to the dealership to get another temp tag because they took so long. Time and money wasted because they can't stick to their word or Colorado state law. Literally went in today to buy 2 cars (one for ourselves and one for our 16 year old son) and was told that the one car was not available to see. We left upset so I called and was told the sales manager would call me back. Haven't heard a peep from them since then. They do a lot of volume so they do NOT care about individual buyers...they don't need to. Plenty of other dealers out there and they will get our business. They sold me a car with body damage. Now they don't want to honor the contract. We bought our dream and family car at this location. We spent our savings and got a loan to buy a car over 30k. The blind monitor sensors were not working and they promised that they were going to get it fixed. It took months and it is not working anymore. Now, they are telling me to go through an external warranty which has not been easy and it will cost more money. Our dream car has turned into a nightmare. Only one person was nice at that location but the other people were rude. I will NEVER buy from this place again and I would NEVER recommend this place. Let me start off by saying that I never give a review. I bought a replacement car from Ecopark Centennial in February 2024. 35 days later (after their warranty period expired) I experienced electrical problems with the car. When I called to speak with the salesperson, I was informed he was no longer there, and they could not assist me. After taking it to another dealership I was informed that the car had wiring issues leaving me with no taillights and the trunk would not close securely. It was also noted that the tailgate plate was not secure and if the car was inspected by Ecopark Centennial it would have been caught. July 2024 after giving the car to my daughter the car would not start for her along with more electrical problems. Over $2000.00 later I am hoping this is the last of the problems with this car. The dealership is quick to push an extended warranty which I took and now I wonder if this practice is to cover Ecopark from knowingly selling bad cars. I was reassured when purchasing this vehicle that it received a "thorough inspection and anything found was replaced". I feel this didn't include the battery that went dead 5 months later, failing trunk door or electrical shortages. Unfortunately, I bought a replacement car for myself in June 2024 from Ecopark Centennial and now wonder what problems I will experience with this vehicle along with how much this car will cost me. What sticks out to me is each salesperson focusing on the review process after you had over your money and being drilled to give them a great review. I purchased my vehicle on Nov 10. NOTE TO ANY FUTURE PURCHASERS! Email about ANY faults with the vehicle. Take notes! After 20 days my radio went completely out, there was a recall on the engine, and the right passenger window stopped working. On a 2018 Jeep compass with 38,000 miles. They said they would cover any expenses and advised me to take it into jeep. Well jeep was packed and couldn't book an appointment for me until after the 30 echo park "warranty". Thank God I kept records via email Bec when I told echo park about the findings they went back on their word and said they wouldn't cover a dime! I finally was able to reach manager John at the centennial office (note that no one ever picks up the customer line) to expedite the matter. Well my car has been gone since dec 24. It's now Jan 18 and still no vehicle and NO update on my vehicle! All for a radio? Also! A week ago they gave me a loaner vehicle: 2018 Nissan rogue. As soon as the snow hit the cars computer had a malfunction and the steering wheel detached from the tires! Again thank God I was on a side road going slow. But imagine if they sold this vehicle (yes it was a car for sale on the lot) and someone took it up to the mountains and the tires went out on the I-70?! That thing was a DEATH TRAP! After they sent a tow truck to pick up that car they gave me ANOTHER crappy Nissan Rogue that definitely is NOT capable to drive to the mountains. So here we are, almost a month later with me paying for a vehicle that I don't have in possession, with NO UPDATES, and zero communication. All for a radio and malfunctioning window. This was our first time buying a car in Colorado, and our first time even hearing of Echo Park. We came and looked at a few cars, and liked the operation behind EP. Everything is very organized, and I'm pretty sure they have up to ten options in every car you could want. We came in with a list of cars we were interested in, as well as a couple of features we preferred, and our price range. Mike Wellington was assisting us, and he took us to look at each of the cars on our list. He opened probably thirty cars for us to decide from, and helped us narrow down our options. He remembered things we said, comments we made about certain cars, and reminded us (me) later when we contradicted our earlier feelings - which was a great thing! I think he kept us on task, and didn't let us compromise on something we had told him that we wanted. Also, it was FREEZING COLD outside, and he still gave us the best service. Mike was easygoing, not high pressure, and easy to express our opinions to. He got us from five car interests into the perfect car for our family, a 2017 Subaru Outback. We couldn't be happier with our car! Once we chose the car, we drove it to the front to start the wheelin' and dealin'. We sit down and start talking numbers. By the way, the interior and exterior decor of EP is fantastic. Big fire pit outside, and it's more like a lounge inside, with a big screen TV, clean bathrooms, ping pong, and warm and cold drinks. We usually avoid dealerships like the plague because of the "let me go see what we can do" song and dance they always pull ‍. This place wasn't any different, but it's a car dealer - It's what they do. Mike showed us what to expect for our monthly payments, and told us about their coverage options. We elected to do their gap insurance since it's winter in Colorado, and opted in for a pretty cool coverage for stains, spills, scratches, etc. it was only $5-$10 more per month and we can use it as many times as we'd like. Opting in on this feature also gave us a detailing kit for our new(to us) car. There was some song and dance on reaching a final price, he brought his manager out - he was a nice guy. Of course we are feeling the pressure at this point, but it wasn't unexpected. In the end, he was able to reach a good deal for us, and we walked away happy. Our payment is where we want it, we have peace of mind with our coverage, and we like the car. Once we signed the papers, they put some gas in the car, washed it, and detailed it inside and out. . . . The car was in need of a wheel alignment and tire rotation, and they didn't seem interested in taking care of that for us, which is the only less-than-satisfying part of our entire experience. . . . The only things to note here: * you have to finance through them, but they had good rates for us, and it wasn't a problem. * they don't reserve or hold cars for you * they move a lot of cars, and quickly * the customer service is quick and down to a science * once you pick your car and drive to the front, the remaining process takes about 2 hours. EchoPark is a fantastic dealership with several locations in Colorado (Thornton, Centennial, and Colorado Springs). I've purchased and sold several cars at this location, and their Thornton branch. All I can say is that EchoPark are an amazing, and wonderful company to do business with. Their sales staff are very honest, and they don't pressure you into purchasing any cars, which is fantastic when you're shopping around for the best deal. With every transaction, EchoPark are always super transparent, their prices are always the best, and their cars have the lowest mileages. I have noticed other commercial dealerships that operate similarly to EchoPark, and their prices maybe the same, but always double check before buying a car from one of these competitors as a lot of ex-rental cars have a lot of scuffs and scratches inside and out. At EchoPark most of their cars come from leases, so the quality of their vehicles are top notch. I highly recommend coming here if you want to purchase a good reliable car, and experience a smooth purchase process. read more

However a week later I receive an email that they missed paperwork for me to sign. Signed electronically, not a huge problem. However a couple days later I receive another request to sign another document as the first one that was sent was wrong.... Being as the car hadn't been detailed yet I requested that they complete this and I can swing by for the signature - on arrival they were extremely rude and did a terrible job with the "detail" - barely wiped it down, but they only have 1 poor staff member to detail all the cars. Absolutely the worst. The "manager" and all his lazy staff are robbing the owners of money and business here. They have no respect for your time. Had us wait for an hour even though we had an appointment and never told us the car wasn't at the lot until we were ready to test drive. When I approached the supervisor to express the frustration, he said we have to understand how they do business-- with 0 integrity and professionalism, that's how. He is a total loser with all attitude and 0 in aptitude. He shouldn't even be the janitor leave alone the face of the business. Probably why everyone else had a terrible attitude there. Save your business for some place with integrity. We ended up at Stevenson Aurora East and were treated like people. Bought 2024 RAV from them. Only decent guy we interacted was Quincy- respectful and the only one who understood what a frustrating day it was for us. I hope he finds a better place and people to work for. read more

The worst experience ever. We went to trade in our car and found the one we were interested in. Everything looked good we have excellent credit so I was sure to make a deal. All over a twenty five dollar difference we were told sorry can't make a deal. I was more upset because they had pulled our credit already. They haggle you over an Insurance that typically a new car should not need . To top things off he said let me introduce you to my manager and it was the guy sitting at the front desk checking in people umm it was really sketchy will not recommend this this place to anyone. read more
