From the Toyota service manual. Alternate OIL is OK if it meets specs. ATF has no alternatives.

Buying experience: High pressure pushing warranties that change in price from the start to the finish. They forced a 3 year paint warranty on my brand new car and told me it was mandatory and not negotiable. Over $700 down the toilet. Service and maintenance: Pushy tire sales guy who was hard to make go away saying my new car tires were shot at ~18k miles. 26k miles now and no where near the wear marks. Service and maintenance: Terrible transmission fluid replacement service. Toyota SPECIFICALLY states no alternatives to Toyota ATF WS fluid in the manual or possible engine damage. AutoNation Toyota put in aftermarket fluid that was NOT approved by Toyota. Contacted Toyota Brand engagement and they clearly told me that unless the dealer has a letter from Toyota for this fluid it is NOT APPROVED. They initiated an investigation. The service tech made the mistake of sending a video showing the aftermarket product going in and I screen shotted it. After getting nasty with me stating "If we replace your fluid with Toyota ATF (required) we will never see your truck again. Service manager tried to tell me that AutoNation has a nation wide contract with the aftermarket brand and the warranty on it exceeds the manufacturer's warranty. Such a LIE. I made them print out the warranty and ONLY IF you replace transmission fluid every 30k miles will they provide up to $2,000 towards the replacement of the transmission. That doesn't even cover labor. BS. Service and maintenance: After they replaced the aftermarket ATF with required Toyota ATF WS, they damaged my wiring harness and gave it to me that way. See the pictures. It was likely the hose clamps from the machine that tore off the insulating material. After your included maintenance from Arapahoe AutoNation Toyota, I recommend you find a good independent shop and STAY AWAy from this place.

I'm really disappointed with my experience at AutoNation Ford. My sales rep, Isaiah, promised I would receive the second key from the previous owner. I even have text messages from him confirming he would get it for me. Another sales rep, Joseph, was also involved during the process. However, when I called to ask about it, the manager told me that because it wasn't listed in the "we owe" contract, they weren't responsible for providing it. When I asked if that meant I was basically out of luck, the response I got was, "Yup, pretty much." That level of customer service is extremely unprofessional. If a salesperson makes a promise -- especially one that's documented -- the dealership should stand behind it. Instead, I was left feeling misled and ignored after the sale was completed. I wouldn't recommend this dealership based on my experience.

Samantha here worked with me from the moment I inquired online I believe. At first I was interested in a specific vehicle but then decided it may be beneficial long term for a newer one. Sadly, that one sold but she quickly found me an upgraded, newer replacement for just $40-50 more monthly. She made everything super simple and I was able to almost get everything done before I even got there. I really look forward to coming back here for another car as everyone here is VERY chill. Not blowing you up, pressuring you or anything like that. It's interesting to see other reviews here as a lot of people have bad things to say. I guess I would recommend seeing Samantha or Brian if you want the best and easiest service.

Working with Macy at H M Brown was the best car-buying experience I've ever had…read more I found a few cars I liked on the site, and Macy brought them all to my house for test drives. I handled the financing from home too--filled out a quick form online and heard back within hours with a rate lower than anything I'd found shopping around myself. Once we found the car I wanted (a 2024 Mazda in perfect condition), wrapping everything up was incredibly easy. No hidden fees like you get at other dealers. The only time I had to visit their location was to pick up my car and sign a couple papers. This was my first time buying from H M Brown, but now I'm a customer for life.

Extremely disappointing experience with HM Brown Automotive…read more I was purchasing a vehicle through another dealership that had confirmed the vehicle was available in HM Brown's inventory. HM Brown was aware that the other dealership had a buyer for the vehicle and was proceeding with the sale. The next day, when the dealership contacted HM Brown to arrange transportation, they were told that HM Brown had sold the vehicle to someone else. To be clear, this wasn't simply a situation where a vehicle happened to sell before we could buy it. HM Brown knew there was an active transaction involving the vehicle and another dealership, yet chose to sell it out from under that transaction. I understand that dealerships want to sell vehicles, but I also expect businesses to operate with integrity and honor their commitments. This experience made it very clear that I could not trust HM Brown Automotive to do so. I would not recommend this dealership, and based on this experience, I would be very hesitant to do business with them in the future.

Unfortunately, taking possession of the vehicle was a completely different experience. Wendy wasn't available when my daughter and I arrived to pick up her new 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid, so she left the key with another salesperson, Art. From the moment we arrived, there was no greeting, no congratulations, no walk to the vehicle, no "thank you for your business," and no offer to explain any of the vehicle's features or answer questions. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than customers taking delivery of a brand-new vehicle. I understand it wasn't Art's sale, but representing the dealership professionally should not depend on whose customer it is. Delivery day is supposed to be exciting, especially for someone purchasing a new vehicle. My daughter was incredibly proud of her new Santa Fe, and that moment was diminished by the lack of basic customer service. For comparison, when I purchased a vehicle from McDonald Hyundai in Highlands Ranch, everyone there was welcoming, professional, and made the delivery feel special. The difference between the two dealerships was striking. It's unfortunate that what started as a very positive buying experience with Wendy ended on such a disappointing note. I hope management recognizes that the delivery experience is just as important as the sale itself.

EchoPark advertises a 190-point inspection and states on its website that vehicles have no fluid leaks and that brake pads under 4 mm are replaced before sale. My independent Audi specialist found: * An upper timing cover oil leak. * A lower oil pan gasket leak. * Rear brake pads measuring approximately 2 mm. When I brought these findings to EchoPark, they acknowledged the oil leaks but dismissed them as "minor seeps" that met their standards and said they would not repair them. Their explanation was essentially that because oil wasn't dripping onto the ground, they didn't consider it a problem. The brake pads were even more concerning. EchoPark's own published standard says pads below 4 mm should be replaced, yet this vehicle was being sold with approximately 2 mm remaining. Only after I pointed this out did they say they would "look into" replacing them. This wasn't a cheap vehicle either. It was priced above the average market value for comparable Q3s, yet would have required nearly $3,000 in immediate repairs according to my mechanic. The most disappointing part wasn't even the condition of the car. It was the response. Rather than standing behind their inspection process or working toward a reasonable resolution, they simply dismissed legitimate concerns identified by an independent German automotive specialist. If I had trusted EchoPark's inspection instead of paying for my own, I would have driven home in a vehicle with multiple oil leaks and brake pads at the end of their service life. If you're considering buying from EchoPark, spend the money on an independent pre-purchase inspection. It may save you thousands.

We were greeted by Ariel with a friendly smile. When I told her I had a story from today, Kelly came running out of her office to come hear what happened. Both women are super easy to talk to. I explained to them what happened to me at Ed Bozarth and the bully tactics the manager tried and they were about as shocked as we were. Ariel heard me mention the car I was looking at at EB and showed me an even better, slightly smaller (which is perfectly fine for me), somehow less expensive model that they had on the lot. We test drove it, I loved it, and we all sat down with Kelly to work the numbers. Kelly is certainly something else. We were instantly comfortable and laughing and happy to be there, our worries from the other dealership melting away. The process was smooth. Kelly got me a great rate and the payment I wanted. The was thorough with her explanations and ensured I understood everything she told me. I felt no pressure from her when it came time to make my final decision. She showed us the programs and numbers she was working with so we knew there weren't any hidden fees or numbers. The transparency helped us trust her even more. She did not pressure me to add on anything to my car but offered to help me get in contact with the right people when I'm ready. My friend and I will be telling EVERYONE we know to go to Enterprise to see Kelly and Ariel. Their no B.S. way of handling business inspires confidence and comfort. Their bumper to bumper warranty cannot be beat. The entire process was quick, easy, simple, and enjoyable--as any major purchase should be. Thank you for all of your help, ladies! I'll see you soon!
