Worldwide Vintage Autos is an online classic car dealership. The facility here in Denver is more of a storage and preparation facility than showroom. The vehicles are packed in like sardines in a warehouse / garage. Some of the vehicles are on lifts along the wall. I was there about a week and a half ago. I went in and was greeted by a receptionist. I told her I was just browsing and I entered the area where the vehicles are. No one ever came over to me asking if I was looking or just browsing or if I had any questions. That's actually a good thing in my book. The vehicles for the most part were not prepped for show. Many had accumulated a layer of dust. Almost all were open and you are allowed to sit in them. It was a reminder to me how big most of the old 60's and 70's vehicles were. I sat in a mid 70's Lincoln and literally sank into the seat as if it was a couch in a living room. As for pricing on their site, much of their inventory is way below some of the other dealerships. I believe this is due to the fact that many of the cars they have are not "mint" or not all original. I spent roughly forty five minutes to an hour looking around. They had a lot of Ford Broncos, Mustangs, Chevrolet Impalas, Malibus and a few Chevelles. It was a nice "time killer" since this trip to Denver was work related. Looking at their online reviews it's a mixed bag. There is a lot of fraud and scamming in the classic car market currently. Many vehicles aren't what the sellers / dealers claim they are. And, I have no idea why anyone would buy a vehicle "site unseen" especially a classic where cloned vehicles are such a problem. read more

I purchased a truck from them and talked to them many times asked them if they test drove it, checked for leaks and fluids which they assured me they done a complete inspection of truck. Upon arrival it died as soon as it was backed off the delivery truck, took me 3 hours to get is started back. Next morning drove it 10 miles and starts blowing coolant everywhere. After I got home noticed the next day it was leaking oil and transmission fluid. I paid good money for this truck and paid to ship it 1100 miles. If I'd known it it had these issues I would I have never bought the truck. read more

Bought a Toyota land Cruiser a few years ago now. the title had been cleaned, and it had to be registered in my state as a salvage title. the car had been totaled. I was told it had been inspected and had a inspection report that was not worth the paper it was written on. The AC pump was loose and wedged between the engine and the firewall. The radiator was not bolted in, I have video of it flopping around, only connection was the hoses. I was offered $750 to sign a hold harmless waiver. I just retired and bought this vehicle to enjoy in retirement, it sets in my car port and does not run well enough to take out even after the $1000's of dollars I've put into it. it makes me sick, how stupid I was to trust these guys. read more

Don't buy anything from them without going to look at the vehicle first! Bought a 71 Chevy from them that passed their "inspection" with flying colors. Apparently the person doing them is a relative of Mr. Magoo! Cracked windshield, throttle linkage was missing and replaced with a wire, transfer case leaks like a sieve, engine leaking badly, front end falling apart, spare gas tank had no cap and is full of rust and the list continues to grow. Sold me a $15k truck for $39k. Something that should have been a good experience turned into a nightmare with them laughing at me all the way to the Bank. Lesson learned and sharing this so other people don't get horribly scammed. They will probably respond with "we have no record of this person". Classless.... read more

Purchased a Mustang from Ryan Corrick and had it shipped to me out of state, it was a surprise for my daughters birthday. I was given an inspection that they said was completed by their technician and given a perfect bill of health. Within 50 miles of purchasing the vehicle it was determined to have a thrown rod in the engine and a bent camshaft which blew out the oil pan. No help from the Seller just an "oh well" it's a used car. Seems really crappy to not offer any kind of help considering they charge a premium for vehicles that are said to be highly inspected. Now I am forced to have a new engine installed. Very disappointed in my experience and would encourage others to be careful before doing business with a company that isn't fully transparent and offers no help after the sale. read more

I have had the truck in 2 different shops now ever since receiving it. I have not been able to drive it. Truck arrived with a missing gas cap, obviously not inspected at dealer. Nobody told me there was a push button starter hidden under dash, took 15 minutes to figure that out making calls etc, and worst of all it took 3 entire months to get the title in my hands!!! Why on earth would the dealer pay the consignee cash from me without getting the title right than and there?? After taking delivery of the vehicle I purchased, I had a relatively small expense related to the condition of the vehicle. I thought Worldwide should reimburse me, and submitted receipts to document my expense. I agreed to their settlement agreement terms for a specified price, signed the agreement and promptly returned it. Now, two months later, Worldwide still has yet to perform under the settlement agreement by issuing payment. They ignore my calls and texts. They do not return voicemails. I purchase on average 1 to 2 vehicles per year from some of the well known classic car dealers to update and refurbish for resale. Most dealers work on the same platform. Salesmen be attentive, get the money in the bank and move on. Most sales people do not have any idea of the details of the vehicle they are selling. Asking my salesman at Worldwide Vintage Auto a simple question like, does the gas gauge work will get a long descriptive answer while the needle does not move but the gauge is ok. Simple answer is no. It goes on like this with all aspects of the vehicle you are pondering to purchase. Folks like Worldwide Vintage advertise national. You cannot always be there to look over a vehicle. Inspections, especially by the outfit you are purchasing from are suspect at best. Worldwide Vintage is probably the worst dealer that I have come across in the years that I have been doing Auto restoration on vehicles. The vehicle that came to me ( 1970 ford pickup ) was not safe to put on the road due to bad tires /brakes/ cracks in the aluminum wheels etc. etc. When asked if the truck had any issues that needed to be attended to , the answer was no. I have come to expect when a vehicle comes in that it will need a multitude of fixes. For me it is not a big deal, I can fix. For many spending an additional $4000 to $6000 to get what you already expected , when paying a premium leaves a sour note. Worldwide provides "shipping" as part of their service. After three weeks of waiting for my truck to be shipped I resorted to setting up my own shipper to get my vehicle under way. World wide charged my shipper to open the gate to get to my truck. World wide states that the title paper work is supplied to the buyer within 30 days. It took worldwide three months to get title work to me, then the vehicle description was wrong. If you have the ability to put hands on/ inspect and take care of your own shipping on a potential purchase from this outfit, you are half way ahead of the game. I had a flat bed tow truck pick it up the next day and take it to a mechanic. let me say, I have a lot of old pick ups. I'm used to fixing things here and there, but this dealer is crap shoot. This purchase was completely spontaneous. I was receiving the VIP notices and decided to see what else was available. I filtered for under $10,000 autos. They had an immaculate 1990 Buick Riviera, 2 owner, garaged and less than 32,000 orig. miles. I jumped on it. Greg handled all the details, helped to expedite the delivery when I first dealt with a funky transport company (Denver to Pittsburgh), pushed through the paperwork in a more than timely manner and once the car arrived it was exactly as represented. I am sorry for the negative comments of others. I have only an excellent experience. AND, he helped me to negotiate the price to fit in my budget. Truck was advertised and sold as a 1979, Come to find out through Virginai RMV the truck was a 1977 recon as a 1979 with a "assigned" Virginia VIN number. At no time was this disclosed this information and good luck speaking with them. They only communicate through email and texts which is better for the fraud they committed. Truck was delivered missing a gas tank and the second tank is leaking, truck had to be towed from the drop off location since the truck had no gas and would not start. The truck was delivered on the top of a car carrier, who knows how much fuel was leaking on the other vehicles in transport. Would never buy from them again, I emailed them my concerns and received an email back stating they would fix the leaky tank, I asked about transport and they ghosted. read more

elp review Attention: Sellers who are thinking of using WORLDWIDE VINTAGE AUTOS-- I was a purchaser. I was told all the right things by Ryan. I was told the 30-point inspection was completed and everything was good. His 30- point inspection was a joke. Lies, lies, lies. Issue #1: When I asked about the overhead flood lights, Ryan said they worked well and were very bright. When I asked him to show me the morning of shipping, Ryan said they had not been hooked up. They had never even been plugged in for him to check them. He lied. They plugged them in, but left off part of the dash when they put it back together. Issue #2: So it was shipped to me without a full dash, and there is a hole. The dash was complete in all the pictures I saw. This is a classic car, I can't just buy it anywhere, and he's telling me that it's my car, my problem. This car was not sent to me as sold to me. Another lie. Issue #3: The front bumper moves up and down 6 inches with 2 fingers. This doesn't sound like passing inspection, but guess what, it's not a part of the 30-point inspection. He sold it as pristine and one of the best cars he's ever seen go through. Another lie. Issue #4: When the shipping company picked it up, the truck driver said the clutch was grinding and sounded like it was going out. When he delivered it to my home, the clutch was completely out. I had to have it towed the next morning. So, a grinding clutch still passes inspection. Remember, he said it was in pristine condition. Another lie. He did offer to pay $460 to replace the clutch plate; however, I was expected to sign an 8 page release saying they were not in the wrong in any way. If I took the offer and posted this review, he would not pay the money we agreed on. I'm choosing to pay to fix the clutch myself so that I can post this to warn future buyers and sellers. Issue #5: We agreed upon a price (when I thought the truck was in pristine condition). Then, he added his fees and took it out of the seller's pocket to make it work. On top of that, he increased the shipping price and took it out of the seller's price to pad his own pockets. I got very confrontational because I didn't feel comfortable with this, but at this point he already had my money. So, if you're thinking of selling a car with him, you'll be paying a lot more than 20% to Ryan because he will cook the books for his benefit. Issue #6: The car was draining oil like a sieve. This was not mentioned when he did the inspection, oh but guess what, it's not part of the 30 point inspection. Again, he said it was in pristine condition. Issue #7: Find out about the title before purchasing. I was not given a title upon delivery. I did research when I didn't get it, and I found that this is a common issue. It looks like it's a major headache on the purchaser, sometimes resulting in bonded titles that take a long time and fall on your lap. In Denver, they can sell cars this way legally without a title, so be wary. I'm hoping I don't fall victim to this issue as well. Ryan is shady and will say whatever needs to be said to get the car sold. He has a smooth voice and makes you feel comfortable, like he's your best friend (that says a car is the best one he's had come through the lot). WORLDWIDE VINTAGE AUTOS is a prime example of why car dealerships have a bad reputation. If anyone would like to join a class action against them, please contact me. If WORLDWIDE VINTAGE AUTOS makes a better effort to get the issues fixed, I will delete this post and update my review. I will also dollop with my title experience and outcome. read more

I was looking at a Scout they had for sale and it looked great. I was interested and I asked 3 or 4 times known issues and does it have rust issues and leaks. Could not get an answer so I spent money on a inspector. Vehicle got rated a 2 out of 5. Body issues, rust issues, paint issues, interior cosmetic and fit issues. It was strong mechanically but very loose steering. This vehicle was test driven 3 miles and not noted this issue. Jason was very responsive when I texted or emailed but refused to answer those 2 questions. I should have known to cancel inspection as they are expensive. I did not purchase the vehicle. They advertised a 1978 Olds Tornado that I purchased showing in the vehicle condition report that the a/c and rear defogger was in working condition. I received the car and the a/c didn't work and there was no button even to turn the rear defogger on or off. The referred me to their in house claims per and no response. I recently purchased a 1979 International Scout from Worldwide Vintage Auto in Denver, CO from sales rep, Ryan. Since the vehicles are purchased "as is" and we couldn't make a trip there, I did my due diligence and had a highly rated appraiser in the area inspect the vehicle. He noticed a major oil leak. Ryan assured me this would be fixed prior to the vehicle being loaded for transport. This oil leak fix was also included as a "to do" item in our sales agreement. When I received the car through transport, on 11/20/2024, there was a major oil leak. The vehicle was taken off the transport truck and driven approximately 3 miles to the nearest gas station with oil pouring out of the bottom and you could smell burnt oil in the air vents as well as visibly see oil on the engine compartment under the hood and smoke pouring out of the hood. We then attempted to fill the gas tank and gas was pouring out of the gas line onto the gas station concrete. (A big no no and fire/safety hazard-pretty embarrassing as well!) So we stopped filling the gas tank and luckily were able to drive it approximately 3 more miles to our home hoping that this extra mileage wouldn't damage the engine compartments. The next day, 11/21/2024, I had a tow truck pickup the vehicle and take it to our mechanic approximately two hours away and paid approx $650 in towing fees. Prior to the completion of the purchase, Ryan assured me that the oil leak was coming from the transfer case and would be fixed. However, our mechanic said the major oil leak wasn't coming from the transfer case at all but from the engine and more than likely the intake. He also mentioned that the gas line was leaking due to dry rot (which means it wasn't just a leak that happened overnight). The scout is currently with our mechanic who will be fixing the leaks including a third leak coming from power steering. Again I do understand that we purchased this vehicle "as is" from WWVA however this is unacceptable from any auto dealership, regardless if you sell vintage vehicles or not. The vehicles should all be expected to be drivable and pass certain safety/fire hazard requirements prior to being sold. WWVA has a 28 point inspection but for some reason these major issues were missed? But I noticed them immediately when we drove the vehicle for the first time? Makes absolutely no sense. The sales rep was adamant that the scout wasn't leaking prior to transport but I don't understand his reasoning as within 3 miles of driving the scout, it was pouring out oil all over the ground and smelled of burnt oil within the vehicle. Also how could dry rot in the gas line hose be missed? When you fill up the tank with any fuel, the leak is major and goes all over the side and bottom of the vehicle. The only way this gas line leak was missed is if WWVA never filled the tank which is highly unlikely as they drove the vehicle a few times for inspection purposes. I feel we have been misled. We paid over $34,000 for this scout so it's not like it was discounted to accommodate the mechanical/safety repairs needed. And regardless if it's sold as is, any and all vehicles Worldwide Vintage Auto sells should at least be safely drivable off the lot. I am out an additional towing fee and an oil leak fee (supposed to be fixed per agreement) and gas hose line leak and power steering leak repair cost. As of right now, I feel that Worldwide Vintage Auto has been very dishonest. My example is one of the reasons why auto dealerships get a bad wrap and for good reason. I feel like this was a churn and burn deal without any consideration for the customer. There was no "let's make it right" when the oil leak was brought to the sales reps attention after receiving a vehicle that wasn't drivable. I have all the necessary documents including receipt for towing the vehicle the day after receiving it to our local mechanic as well as our mechanics detailed description of repairs needed and also Worldwide Vintage Auto contractual agreement that states leak would be fixed prior to transport. read more
