This place probably needs a new Yelp page because it's under different ownership. Got my 7-year old son enrolled here about 3 months ago because I got tired of him playing video games and goofing off all the time. He also has trouble focusing at school and home, so wanted to give him something to keep busy. I wasn't looking to make him the next MMA champion or anything crazy. I just wanted him to learn to throw a punch and be able to defend himself, while also keeping him active. This place seems to be doing a good job with all of those. My son loves coming here and enjoys working out with other students. Coach David and Kru Stephanie are excellent with the students and seem to know how to tap into their potential. I like that they sometimes turn some training sessions into games to keep kids more engaged. All the students are nice too. I've been to some martial arts studios where some of the students act like thugs. I haven't seen seen any bad characters here. Kids/teens Muay Thai classes are held Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (sparring), and Saturday. Adult classes are held Monday thru Saturday. If you sign up here you can also take Taekwondo at Ferrer Academy, located on Lincoln Avenue near Moody Street. Such a small world because I used to train there over 30 years ago. Turns out the owner of this studio is the daughter of my former instructor. Tuition can be paid month-to-month or you can sign a 6-month or annual contract. Price is obviously better with longer contracts. Not sure if it's still offered but we were given a 2-week free trial period when we first signed up. read more

I love this place! My daughter originally started taking muay thai and mma classes back in Jan 2015 and she loved going to class. The instructors were always very patient, helpful and aware of all the kids. The overall vibe of this place was, and is still is amazing. She always felt part of the family and specially enjoyed kids fun nights. Every now and then, they had fun activities for the kids with jumpers and music which I thought was amazing and it gave the kids the opportunity to get to know each other better. After taking a one year break and as of today my daughter and I have re enrolled in the muay thai classes and we both can't wait to get started! Coach Johnson has always being extremely helpful and I appreciate that very much. It is people like him that go the extra mile to help someone better themselves and give us that extra push we ALL sometimes need. Went to the Saturday Muy Thai class and I've never been more impressed with the coaching! Everything was precise and coach really focused on my form and technique but most of all I got a killer workout today. I'm choosing All In because of the positive environment they provide and for the intensity of the workout. Heard about this place through a friend of mine and thought it's about damn time I did something about my gut. My first training session was awesome! It was extremely tiring and I was winded while even the girls were pretty badass for this "beginner" class. It's cool though. Everyone is helpful, including fellow students and the instructors, Mastor Cha and the others are really friendly, cool, and encouraging. I stopped by around 4:00 pm and saw a bunch of kids in their tae kwon do class. Very cute actually. Then I returned at 6:30 for the Thursday night beginner class I mentioned above. They have classes for everything. I even got to see some MMA grapling and stuff in the cage they have set up. Key note: Several of the guys in this gym are pro MMA fighters. Cool! Great prices, great instructors, good for beginners and advanced fighters. They have classes for everyone. HIGHLY recommended you check this place out! Great for kids and adults. My sons are 11 & 9 and we all decided to give Muay Thai kickboxing a try. I went on Saturdays (I wrestled and captained my high school team as a teen) and my kids go 1-2 times a week and on Saturdays too. The classes are held separately so kids are with kids only and vice versa. The coaches each have their own styles, but coach Johnson is particularly dynamic, engaging and great at bringing beginners in kids and adults along so you're learning and getting better with each session. My 5 year old son has been coming here for a little under a year now. Because of our week schedule he is only able to attend 2x a week. However, during these two days, my son gains so much. Over the duration here I have seen him grow in different areas, but most specifically with accountability. Master Cha is AMAZING! Though we don't see him often, my son is absolutely in awe because he trains fighters. As far as Mr.Anderson & Mr.Johnson. . . My son equally thinks they are the coolest! Top notch Muay Thai and BJJ instruction. The classes fun and energetic and the encouragement is strong. Instructors here push you to excel because they want you to succeed in the martial arts. However, there are NO EGOS in the school and the level of respect among students to instructors (and vice versa) is really high. There are quite a number of successful professional and amateur fighters who train here so that tells you a lot. There's a close knit family atmosphere among the members and team. There are both adults and kids classes here - hence the family atmosphere. This is not distracting in any way, however. Make no mistake, this is a real MMA school and you will learn if you put forth the effort . I have been going to this MMA gym for almost 8 months now and i am really enjoying it. Master Cha and Coach Johnson are inspiring and care for their students. I have never been a part of MMA gym culture and was a little worried that the members of a MMA gym would be intimidating and tough. But within a couple classes I found everyone is very kind and exceptionally helpful. Everyone is supportive and respectful to one another. The best part for me was feeling no judgments from others when I asked for advice. Everyone is their to train, better themselves and have fun. The gym primarily focuses on Muay Thai and just added a Check Mat for Brazilian JuJitSu. The pricing is very good for anyone who is part of the military and police force. Even struggling students, high school or college, can ask for help from Master Cha and he will help you out as much as possible. I have almost lost 15lbs. Others have also leaned out and lost weight. Some have gained more definition and strength as well. It's a great way to whip you into shape. Overall my experience with the All In MMA team has been very positive and helpful and recommend anyone who is new to MMA to try this place out. After training here for a little more than 3 months, I have made great strides in my mma training. The instructors are down to earth and provide great challenging training. Best MMA Gym in Orange County. I have been going here for six months now, and I personally believe that this is the best place to learn martial arts. The staff are professionals who experts in their fields, and they really strive to create a safe encouraging environment. Coach Eddie and Sam are both super friendly, and they make sure to keep an attitude of respect and honor in the gym. Everyone in the gym is super friendly and patient, and they are always trying to help you out. Even though there are many professional fighters here, everyone is super nice. The Muay Thai sessions is the most popular here, and is a really intense work out. The great thing is that if you are new, they are work with you at your pace while still really pushing you to stretch yourself beyond your limits. The best part of the Muay Thai sessions is that you learn through partnering up by doing mitt-training. I believe training with mitts is a far better learning experience than just standing in front of the bag most of the time, because mitt training improves your accuracy and timing a lot better. What I like about this place is that there is a community here that has a family feel. Coach Eddie and Sam really love the kids here, and really are great an encouraging them to develop self-confidence and respect. The is the best gym ever! My 3 year search for the perfect MMA gym had ended when I came to All In back in 2009. If you're looking to do some light weight aerobics or some girlie stuff, this is NOT the gym for you (ladies, don't be intimidated if you're looking for a serious work out that teaches you real martial arts)! This is honestly the best place to train for several reasons: 1) Master Cha: He is the real deal. He takes the time to teach each student proper form and technique in Tae Kwon Do and Muay Thai. He makes each student feel special and give personal attention to each and every student. He is very motivating. 2) Sam Choi: He is the gentle beast who teaches Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I've seen many students improve greatly while taking his class. Sam can also whip your butt into shape with his strngth & conditioning classes. He has a physical therapy background so his workouts are safe and EFFECTIVE! 3) Students: The people who attend All In MMA are just as awesome as the instructors. They are very friendly and encouraging. 4) The classes: A lot of "Kickboxing" gyms limit their classes to air punching and kicking. At All In, you're either holding a shield/mitt of you're punching/kicking the shield/mitt. You learn proper striking techniques (kicking, punching, elbows, knees, etc.) while getting an awesome workout. Been coming here for two months now and I love it. Was a little scared to try it out at first. I thought every one would be a professional fighter. And I'm not focused on becoming a fighter. my body goals are just to get fit, toned and stay in shape. I have a regular gym membership but it gets boring at times. Here at boxing and Muay Thai classes I can see my arms toning up nicely and the best part is I don't feel like I'm working out while I'm breaking a sweat. In one hour of class I come out drenched in sweat, and it's fun so I totally forget I'm working out. I feel my body changing and loving the results. So whether you want to become a fighter or just get bikini ready this place is great! They have classes for kids as well. I'm not sure on the scheduling. But there's classes from Monday to Saturday. Just got done talking to one of the 'representatives' of all in mma. He decided to brag to me about the gym talking about how fighters in it are in the UFC. The membership is about $35-40 dollars per week. After speaking to this man he simply said 'OK' to me. He didn't thank me and seemed very uninterested to talk.
