I was looking for some type of outlet in a positive way to help with my mental issues before I end up in prison and I definitelyfound my type of help. I went to the intro class and went back to sign up for 6 months for the actually class. I wish I would've looked for this place a long time ago, I super suck but everyone's non judgemental and if your 26 years old and suck at fighting like me this place is the go to. A great training spot that welcomes all levels. Drills, plus pad work, plus sparring... they have it all. No one is above anyone else as everyone is treated with respect by all coaches and trainees. The building is tucked away in a corner of a shopping center. One must enter the building and head onto the back of the room where all the action is. People come here to train and its fun as the adult class consists of high schoolers all the way to 40 year olds. If you have questions, everyone is willing to answer and help out. Coaches keep the kids classes fun and light. The cost is competitive or even better than other Muay Thai gyms. I've been enjoying my Muay Thai training here. If you want to become tough, train here. I'm going to keep it real with my review and not be one of the many kiss a**s on here and not let my opinion be influenced based on the popularity contest that they have going on here. I came here around 2016-2017 with my bro and did enjoy the fitness and discipline side of muy thai but I felt that the regular classes weren't enough to completely understand the art of muy Thai kickboxing as they are about 25 min a session with like 15 people a class . I know you get what you pay for but 300 plus tax for 2 people should get you way more incentives . Like BJJ included and maybe some personal training overall I feel like you can get a better value else where with a friend referral included. read more

After trying many Muay Thai gyms in Orange County, I came across this gym last year and met Coach Jon on my first day. Instantly, it was clear that he was a talented coach. Jon knows exactly how to fix your form and he does so quickly, which I think is a rare skill among coaches. Master Toddy is easily one of the only true Thai gyms in OC. You will not find an equal balance of technique and conditioning at most other gyms. The gym also has several sized bags for drilling. The extra large bags are great for kicks and I greatly appreciated the rare addition of a clinch bag and a *full-sized* ring. If you want to learn true Thai style with standardized forms (the best way to start IMO), Master Toddy LA is the way. Much respect to Jon. If I had not moved, I would have stayed longer. I will definitely be returning here to train once I move back to the area. read more

Dont let the sport or their badass gym shirts and tattoos fool you, these guys are very humble and friendly once you get to know them and just want you to progress in this sport. Couldn't be happier that they opened up an Anaheim gym. I frequently hop between this one and Pomona one and let me tell you even though it's still relatively new, the coaches here are just as much dedicated! They're super patient with you while you're learning because technique here is key. As for the workouts prior to learning the material, those will leave you satisfied and sore. Oh! You can actually get your questions answered here if you have them!! As I said, great staff of coaches here who have the experience!! Price wise, it's more affordable than most training schools Ive tried out and this is coming from a broke college student. I most definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking to train Muay Thai. Super authentic muay thai! I use to get bullied everyday but now I do the bullying! No but seriously there is a conditioning class, bjj, and muay thai. Master Toddy's Anaheim is THE spot for people (adults and kids) who want to learn a martial art or simply just get into shape. This place serves all skill levels, so beginners shouldn't be intimidated before reaching out or coming for a visit. Although this is only based on observation, I have seen a lot of parents satisfied with the type of training their children get in the kids classes. The parents seem to love the interaction the coaches have with the kids, and they also seem to love the amount of knowledge the kids retain during each class. Another good thing about this spot is the value. For the price you pay to attend here, you would still have to fork up extra cash at other spots if you want to train more. You can come to as many classes as you want throughout the week. Although the gym only has classes during the afternoon and evening, the gym is generally open all day so members can go hit the bag or have a quick workout session any time during the day. I feel that the best thing about this spot is the camaraderie. Everyone here, including the coaches, are super friendly. The environment is welcoming for literally all skill levels. I would advise that anyone interested just come check it out. Master Toddy's is a totally great spot to train for both adults and kids! Jon, Van, Ernesto, and George are all really good coaches. I have seen people drive from MILES and HOURS away just to get a private lesson with Kru Jon. After working with him, myself, I kind of get the sense why these people would go out of their way just to train with this guy. In total, I would really recommend this place to people who are interested in trying out Muay Thai, a martial art, getting into shape, or trying something new. I have to say that I'm really going to miss training at this place. Unfortunately I had to cancel because of my schedule, but I'd still train there if it worked. Kru Jon, Van and Ernesto are all great Muay Thai instructors. They push you to work hard and to better your skills. Master Toddy's Anaheim is an amazing place to learn authentic Muay Thai (Accredited by the Thai Ministry of Education). This place offers all the tools you need to succeed in your personal fitness and/or competing goals. The coaches are knowledgable, patient and great motivators. They are welcoming to any individual (no matter the skill level). The gym is equipped with a full size ring, floor matts for BJJ, punching bags, pads for pad work and high quality Muay Thai equipment (gloves, shin guards and head gear etc.) available for purchase. Classes are Monday - Saturday with both Muay Thai AND BJJ available. Each week they focus on a specific aspect of Muay Thai (kicks, clinch work, boxing and elbows). Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to train in BJJ (due to work schedule) but have only heard great things from the students of the class. I have been training here for about 6 months with the goal of improving my fitness and finding a new realm of competition and knowledge. This place is doing exactly that! I came here because I wanted to lose weight. At first I was a bit intimidated because I don't have any training but the staff has been cool. They teach you the basics and then it's up to you to determine what pace you want to take. Now I go there on a regular basis and I get a hell of a workout while i see improvements little by little.
