None of the uncanny AI slop photos of the food ever resemble the actual slop actually being served out of some sketchy nondescript door. There's at least two other fake restaurants besides this one that I've caught operating out of this specific 5th Ave location ("Glazed Hen" Korean fried chicken is another one), but whichever group runs them always sets up the same slate of fake restaurants in the same buildings. 1140 Utica Ave in Brooklyn is another known physical location they operate this scam out of. In the meantime I need for y'all to be a bit smarter when you go on these apps. DoorDash usually labels ghost kitchen junk "virtual brand" in small print on the store page, but UberEats and the rest all lie. If it's a place with a weird name that you never heard of that's delivering at all hours and has a suspiciously high rating on the delivery apps compared to here on Yelp, despite having no internet presence to speak of (no social media) it's a huge red flag. Fantastic value and great flavor bowls. The portions are generous and they have lots of options, including making your own bowl (poke or two BBQ proteins) and pre-made bowls. We ordered delivery (can't comment on the restaurant space of service) and it arrived hot and fresh. We tried the make your own poke bowl with salmon and tuna (you get to pick two which I really like), over white rice with edamame, cucumber, avocado, mango, sesame seeds, onion crisps, seaweed salad and the poke sauce (with a side of siracha aiolic) along with the two protein BBQ bowl with beef bulgogi and pork katsu, with cole slaw and mac and cheese over hawaiian fried rice with katsu sauce. The katsu was still crispy and while I don't normally care much for fried rice, the hawaiian fried rice was very good. The poke bowl was fresh with a good amount of fish and again, I loved all of the toppings and things that you can add for free (the avocado is extra). Both bowls were very tasty and good sized portions. Given the quality and quantity, the prices were very reasonable (especially compared to other poke places) and I would definitely order from here again. read more

I'm constantly amazed at the variety and quality of fusion/ethnic cuisine available in the area. I believe this was from the BK location (ordered delivery). Our food came fast and was incredibly fresh and neatly prepared. We ordered the BBQ Pulled Chicken Bowl with white rice, Hawaiian macaroni salad and crab salad, along with 2 Ube Coconut Mochi Brownies. The Hawaiian style macaroni salad came with onions grated carrots and was soooo creamy. This was hands down with us macaroni salad I've ever had in my entire life. The crab was a little spicy in a great way - seasoned with masago, spicy aioli and cucumbers. If you know me, you know, I'm not a huge fan of chicken, but there's seasoned and cooked to perfection, with Rice that was perfectly sticky yet not mushy. The real highlight of this mea were the brownies. I really expected them to taste prepackaged as they came in labeled plastic wrappers, and had no idea what to expect but all I can say is wow. The mild yet so sweet flavor of Ube blended perfectly with the chewies of the mochi and the delicious coconut flavors. I could eat 40 of these. Not too sweet but packed full of flavor. Honestly the worst Hawaiian food I've ever had, not even comparable to chains like L&L. I ordered on DoorDash without checking Yelp (big mistake), and immediately thought it was a small box for $20 worth of food when I received it. It seems like ordering the 3 protein bowl doesn't give you much more meat than the single protein options, just more variety. The portion sizes for the sides and salad base were also tiny, maybe 2 tablespoons each, while the rice filled the bottom of the container. Taste wise, everything was lackluster. Chicken katsu was soggy, BBQ chicken had a weird sour marinade, and bulgogi beef was dry and bland. The BBQ sauce on the side was also extremely sour, almost had a ketchup-y flavor to it? Mac salad was decent but not super flavorful, and seaweed salad was good but probably came pre-made anyways. Ordered delivery from Braddah's last night through Seamless. The delivery experience was disappointing as we placed the order at 10:20pm and got an ETA of 10:45pm. OUR FOOD ARRIVED AT 12:05AM. Definitely something to make note of if you're starving and wanting your food to arrive at least slightly close to the ETA. As a general statement, it did not taste anything close to the traditional lunch plates in Hawaii. And with a name like Braddah's I was expecting authentic island food. It isn't remotely close to L&L, Hawaiian Drive-In, street kitchens, or like Rainbow Drive-In; besides the name and layout of the plates. With that being said the food was OK. The Hawaiian mac salad had some interesting ingredients added like peas, string beans, and cubed carrots vs shredded. It was like a generic frozen vegetable melody was thrown into the mac salad. Also, it was ridiculously sweet. The BBQ Chicken was a bit dry, and the sauce was lacking flavor (nothing tasted like BBQ). The chicken katsu sauce was also bland. The katsu was soggy, and not crispy whatsoever. Also the rice was hard but sticky -- kind of like Laos sticky rice. You do get to have different bases; e.g. white rice vs brown rice vs salad, as well as different sides, e.g. Mac salad vs crab salad vs seaweed salad. All at no additional cost, which is pretty great! I've been craving Hawaiian plate lunches since L&L closed in the FiDi, but this didn't do much in satisfying that craving. I chose Brown Rice and Furikake Rice for my base and Seaweed Salad and Hawaiian Macaroni Salad as my salad. I paid less than $20 for all of this and it was super filling.
