Avoid this office if you value respectful treatment! I left Dr. Yee's office because Pam Johnson, who handles all billing, was rude and yelled at me when I asked about insurance coverage--and she even yelled at my husband, which made him avoid the office. On my first visit with Dr. Burke (recommended by Dr. Adams), he reviewed the full-mouth X-rays from Dr. Yee and said all my teeth were fine--nothing was wrong with the tooth Dr. Yee said needed a filling. Dr. Yee refused to address Pam's behavior. I hope he fires her so other patients aren't treated this way. This office was stressful and unprofessional. read more

I'm glad to report that my experience has been exceptional and I'm so glad I found such a great dentist with a terrific staff. Everyone in the office is a delight to talk to and super nice and pleasant. They remember your name from the minute you walk in the door even if it's your first time. All the positive vibes rub off on you and you'll find yourself with a spring in your step as you leave. Dr. Yee has all the latest technology and I was blown away by the little camera that showed me a close-up video feed of my teeth in real time. He has the digital x-rays that show up instantly on the screen above. He pays attention to little details like having the patient wear sunglasses to help with the bright examination light. My son was horsing around with his brother and had his teeth knocked loose. Dr. Yee was very accommodating and allows us to see him immediately. He put our son at ease and explained the process to my son so he doesn't get super anxious. Teeth was pulled, mission accomplished and my son was a happy camper. Dr. Yee is the BEST! My oldest son had never even lost his first tooth at 7 because he had a rare case where the adult teeth grew behind the baby teeth. Dr. Yee saw that right away and knew the urgency of the need to correct it. He was able to accomodate right away, and kept my son calm the ENTIRE time. My son walked away with no tears, no fear, and happy smiles with his 2 baby teeth to bring back to the tooth fairy. Not only was Dr. Yee awesome, the experience from beginning to end was AMAZING from check in to check out - Right from the beginning, Kathy greeted us and took my 5 year old into the children's play room to keep him occupied the while time while his big brother was seeing the dentist and getting TWO teeth extracted! I was more nervous than my son. Dr. Yee took the time to slowly make sure nathan was comfortable and he explained the process of each step to me too! He did not rush the process and had such great conversation with Nathan! Pam was great at check out and was super accommodating for scheduling an appointment for his next check up! Horrible. Pulled 6 teeth out of 8 year old. Only 3 were covered per appointment. I heard my son screaming and he said I was being over protective. We were unable to pay the $1200 additional bill without a payment plan. When the bill was paid off His staff said that we-were no longer able to be patients due to the time it took to pay off the large bill. Dr Yee was a great dentist for General Dentistry. Dr. Yee has been my dentist for about 14 years. He and his team have taken care of me like family the whole time. In December, I got engaged and will get married this summer. When Dr. Yee heard this, he shared how they gift a FREE professional teeth whitening to their patients when they get married! I couldn't believe it! On top of that, my visit yesterday included fillings, and I had the worst migraine but did not want to reschedule. The staff gave me a room with the lights off, made sure I was comfortable, and worked with me. They did my moldings for my whitening trays as I was numbing up and Dr. Yee shared the process for the whitening and the different shade my teeth is projected to get. Everyone checked in periodically to make sure I was comfortable and they were absolutely wonderful. It was amazing customer service and care. I'm really glad I've been going to Dr. Yee for so long. He and his staff are patient with my dental hygiene, concerned about my well-being, and overall truly want the best for their patients. Warning: This place seems to be committing insurance fraud. Both my wife and I on separate occasions were told that we needed major dental work, most of which thankfully was denied by insurance. Later Dr. Yee said I needed a new crown on a tooth that had just been crowned the previous year. Our new dentist confirmed that the recommended work was unnecessary. If you choose to go here make sure you get a second opinion before paying for unnecessary service. read more

Dr. Bradley Yee and his entire staff have been some of the most professional and compassionate people I know. Over the past 20 years I've had the best dental care here. Routine check ups and cleanings are a breeze to schedule. I have quite a few dental problems all stemming from a bike accident; resulting in bridges, crowns, root canals, implant recommendations, gum work, mouth guards and more. Dr. Yee is very thorough, always explains things with analogies, and drawings, so you feel comfortable about any procedures. His staff has been there all these years! They all compliment his dedication and professionalism. I've since moved, but don't mind driving the extra to receive care here. read more

I have been going to Dr. Yee's office for more than 15 years. He is very caring and compassionate. I like that he explains the situation very thoroughly so that you know all your options and what's going to happen. My daughter is also a patient of Dr. Yee and I like the fact that he communicates very well with her orthodontist on treatment plans. My hygienist is Tammy and she is the best. She does an excellent job and is very gentle. I've had bad cleanings at other dental offices where I have not been able to eat for a few days because it hurts, but that it not the case with Tammy. She's always smiling and she makes you laugh so the cleaning time goes by so fast. I have more than 2 dental cleanings a year but I don't mind because Tammy is very gentle and makes the experience very pleasant. The entire office is very professional. Kathy at the front desk is really nice. I appreciate that she calls to remind me about my appts and offers other times available as well, if cancellations pop up. They also send text message reminders so you cannot forget. Pam the office manager is super organized and sweet. Dr. Yee really cares about his patients and staff. He hosted a 30 year anniversary party for his patients and staff. I don't know of any other dentist who does that. Many of his staff have been there with him from the beginning and it's nice to see such a cohesive team. In addition, he's hosted food truck events in the parking lot and runs several promo opportunities in his office. The office itself is very clean and modern. They just remodeled and looks magazine photo ready. Parking is plentiful and the spaces upfront near the door are very wide so you don't have to worry about door dings. I would highly recommend Dr. Yee. Even if you live out of the area, it is well worth the drive to have Dr. Yee as your dental office. I have never had any problems in the 15+ years that I have been coming. read more

So to start, I had an emergency visit two days before Christmas having never been a patient of Dr. Yee's. He and his staff were welcoming and accommodating. After taking me out of my severe pain, he immediately went to work preparing a Triage of sorts regarding the work I needed. My dental plan is not the best, but his staff get pre-auths when the plan provides them and they keep me informed of the cost. I am a little more than halfway thru my "Fix Steve's teeth" plan. Dr. Yee does fantastic work, the Hygienists are fantastic and overall, I feel at home at a Dental practice for the first time in my adult life. Contrary to the few bad reviews, of which I do not concur yet acknowledge as their opinions and respect them as such, I have been more than pleased with Dr. Yee and his practice. I'm sure everyone hates going to the dentist. Sometimes you never know what to expect. Honestly, I hate going to the dentist. My last few dentists were not as good. Maybe thats because i hate going to them. They don't explain enough to me about what's wrong with my teeth or why they think they should do this or recommend this. I hate it when they keep on telling you to come back every 3-6 months and do the same thing but doesn't clarify something and make it understandable. It just makes me think, they want my money. After a year of not going to the dentist, I was talking to my co-worker about my previous dentist and she recommended Dr. Yee. She said she really likes him. She likes the way he does his job. Which is what a dentist should do. So i was like, really!! Hmmmm.. Maybe i should give it a shot? Can I tell you??? I really like him too. LOL!!! He is the greatest. He talked about what i needed done and why it should be done. He recommended this treatment because it will better my health within the next 50yrs. I mean, he went through the books with me. I have never been so shocked to see a dentist tell you step by step about my teeth. You rarely find a dentist like that. I felt really comfortable with him. He spent about 2 hours with me on my first visit. I"m sure every dentist you going takes forever but they were on time with my appt. Not only is he the greatest, but you will love his staff. Well I hate giving a dentist a 5 because dentist are scary to me. Of course with that being said, not many people surprise me but Dr. Yee did. He explained things about my sons teeth that his past three dentist never did (they were not bad dentists). Instead of trying to do a quick fix he explained the cause and suggested I start at the root cause. Long story short, my son grinds his teeth, gets it from me. When he has chipped a tooth they have just filed it down. Dr. Yee is the first dentist to explain how doing this is bad, we should be building teeth back up and using a mouth guard at night for prevention. He explained things simply and I appreciated it. I've had more than my share of work done here and everyone has been so friendly. Secondly, he does not settle for average quality for his patiences. When in his chair, I've experienced him not settling for second rate work or materials. He treats me as though I'm his brother and only wants the best for me. Occasionally the office has an opening so the receptionist will call around to patients that have a future appointment to fill the openings. When she calls I get the impression she is disappointed and then becomes short if you are unable to fill the opening. The shoe on the other foot I call and ask to get in early all I get is,"I'll see what I can do." No call back from them. I believe this office is closed on Fridays so if you have an appointment on Tuesday the following week and cannot make it, you are out of luck. Even though you call Friday morning they still charge you for not calling 48 hours ahead. Happened a couple times with me. I get a call from their office the day before my appointment informing me I have charges from not calling in 48 hours that need to be taken care of before I can be seen. Mind you I made this emergency appointment a few weeks ago, emergency I can't chew so they fit me in three weeks later. Find another dentist in Elk Grove, this office is in business to help himself not his patients. read more
