Never finished the job - really disappointed because we believed he would come back and it's been 9 months.

Brad was quick to answer the phone, listen to a description of the job being requested, and schedule an appointment to work up a bid. The morning he was supposed to come to assess the project he called and said he would be late as he was going on an emergency repair job for someone. No problem, is what I said, I'll be here when you finish... (mind you I took the day off to be home for the bid). A little later he called again and asked if he could come the following day. I said that wouldn't really work because both my wife and I would be at work. He said he'd call when he finished the job that afternoon and plan to come then. The afternoon came and went, and no call was received. I called his number to ask if he was still coming; no answer. I texted one last time the next day to ask if he was still interested in providing a bid. No reply! While I understand emergencies happen, I also understand common courtesy and professionalism. I would have appreciated a response. In any case we have moved on with another landscaper so I can't speak to Brad's work, just his lack of communication. read more

Brad was kind and did good work when he was here. But it soon turned to excuse after excuse why he didn't show up. He quoted $1800 to do a fair amount of work but it soon turned into asking me for $300 here and $400 there but still not returning to do the work. I overplayed by almost twice his quote. Then he just stopped communicating after I had fallen for lies about hardships. He kept telling me He was thankful I was so nice and understanding yet he just kept screwing me. Watch yourself. He is NOT LICENSED state contractors licensing board so the only recourse you have is to sue him when he doesn't deliver. Shame on you Brad. read more

My experience with Brad was the best it could be for a service. He replied promptly to our Yelp message and we were able to set up a time to meet for a quote. He stated if we were ok with the price he could fix our pipe/sprinkler that day. I got quotes from other companies and his price seem to be fair. He came out the very next day. Brad knew enough to isolate the problem and replaced the valve that was the source of an ongoing leakage in the sprinkler system. Brad is a pro! He likes to do things right and does not care how long it will take him to ensure good products are delivered to his clients. He answered the phone and came by to fix by faulty valve and got my irrigation system running timely. He even fixed my sink clogged which I thought I had to replace the garbage disposer, he fixed it with no additional charges and saved me a new disposer. We had four leaks including three from sprinkler valves. Brad came over just a few days after we called and offered to come even sooner. His estimate was FAR less the others we received, and Brad replaced our valves with high quality matierals. After he finished there was still a small leak in a separate area from what he replaced and he came over a couple days alter and fixed it for no extra charge. Just a warning to all. Brad gave me an estimate for redoing my backyard. He said he would start the next week and asked for a deposit. I gave him the deposit and he never came back. There was a whole series of text messages back and forth about how he was "down on his luck", etc. He never did the work and never returned my money. Bottom line is that he is a thief. UPDATE: After posting this review, Brad contacted me and on June 2nd I texted Brad a copy of the canceled check that he had cashed. Brad contacted me and said he wanted to return my money and "make it right and move on". After numerous texts back and forth with numerous promises that he would be sending me my money, I have still received nothing. To further confirm the validity of this review, I am attaching a copy of the canceled check. I sincerely hope that this review prevents others from being scammed by Brad ever again. Only giving five stars. Because if you're like any person trying to hire someone you try to be objective. Read the bad and the negative ones. Do not hire. It should be one star. I requested the work to be done, came out had the work done. Work was not completed the way that we agreed upon. Reached out to him twice to fix some issues. Didn't get a follow through the first time. I finally called , told me he can come out the next day and resolve issues. Next day...No Response, no communication. Next day. No communication. Just don't risk it! It's really unfortunate being a homeowner and having to deal with people who obviously don't respect your time or money!!! I live in W Sac. My irrigation system was broken and I called Brad. He came immediately and although it was a pipe he offered to repair it. After significan dogging he went to get the material. He worked very hard and made the repair. He was very nice, and respectful and knew what he was doing, I mean experienced, and I was able to pay the cost. This was tough because Brad is a five star for sure except the second time I contacted him he said he was out of town and then never let me know when he was back. I figured he was just busy so I tried again by calling. He asked me to text him my address and then he never showed. Didn't call me back. The job he did do for me was great! He replaced a valves lickety-split when I had a valve that would not turn off and he replaced my timer. He came over, made sure the valve was off before he could come back and complete the job the next day for a very fair price. He was really quick, kind, and explained in detail what he did. There aren't enough stars to show how awesome these guys are. A-MAZING. While digging out weeds in my lawn, I broke the irrigation pipe, I screwed up my rotating head (whatever it's called) and even managed to break the scheduling thing. Clearly, I know my way around a lawn. I'd messed it so badly, I had to shut off the water to the house to turn off the irrigation (I had also broken the shut off valve for the system). I was a bit panicked as it was getting late on a Saturday and not many people were still open. Side note: I'd already had three companies I'd called for quotes on landscaping who either never showed up or ghosted me after giving me an estimate so had low expectations of getting ahold of someone to come help without a 10-week lead time. Brad was the only person who actually answered his phone. Imagine that? He asked me a few questions, made a few suggestions, then said he was on his way. Within 20 minutes, the team showed up and fixed my system! Not only did they stop by late on a Saturday with no notice but on top of everything, he and his wife were cool AF! After getting estimates from two other well-rated sprinkler repair companies, we were still confused about the issues and surprised at the high costs. I had a major landscape irrigation leak that was flooding my front yard. I called other companies who's automated response, all said that they would get back with me as soon as possible. I called Brad who answered the call in person and said he could come by in awhile. He showed up within half an hour, took a look at the problem and repaired the leak in about 20 minutes. I then started getting responses from the other companies. The cost was less than what others have charged me for similar past repairs. I found Brad from Yelp and hired him for the one time cleaning up and weekly service after. It has been 5 weeks. The one time cleaning has not completed because he agreed to finish it up at the weekly service. The weekly service has been pushing to two weeks behind. Now that the one time cleaning up were not even completed and are wasted. It was fool of me paid him before the work was done. It's not small amount of pay. I trusted him and thought he looks like and talks like an honest business owner, but I were wrong. I shouldn't paid him in full until the work was completed. We had an unfortunate experience with Brad. We hired him to repair a zone, tune up existing system and run a new wire to the digital irrigation box. He was initially very responsive and came to do the work while we were out of town. He called when he stated the work was completed and we paid in good faith. When we returned we found the zone was not repaired and will not turn on. We have tried to get Brad out to complete the work for 6 weeks and have had no luck. Every time we reach out there is a new reason why he can't make it and now he no longer responds. We are out our money but you don't have to be. You have been warned! read more

I called Brad on the weekend regarding a sprinkler and outdoor faucet leak. As it was a weekend, I understood he may be busy, he called me back with 10 minutes of my voicemail. I spoke to him over the phone and booked an appointment a couple days later. The day of the appointment, Brad called to confirm the time would work for me and gave me an updated time he would arrive which was within the time we discussed. Once Brad arrived, I showed him the issue, he diagnosed the problem and provided an estimate for the work. The estimate was reasonable, so I told him to proceed. Brad completed the job quickly and efficiently. After the job was completed we tested for any leaks and found none. Super impressed with the thorough job Brad did for our irrigation, and at such a reasonable price. Every year we have to have our system fixed up in the spring and this year I decided to try someone local and new - and I'm SO glad I did! He replaced our ancient timing box (something no one else has ever offered to do!), cleaned the calcium deposits out of the sprinkler heads, and fixed a few sprinkler heads and a valve that were causing problems all in just an hour or two.
