Went here for the first time today, and more than likely won't be back. The place looks great, and our waiter was fantastic, but that was about it. Started off with two drinks, my wife had a beer, and I had an old fashioned. The drinks were fine. The waiter convinced us to have the salad that was a special as our appetizer, which was also very good. However after that, the wheels fell off. She ordered the 40 clove chicken, and I ordered the porchetta tomahawk. The food came out, and we both had weird looks on our faces, as it wasn't what we expected. My porcheta was placed on a plate with wilted lettuce underneath. She first tried the mashed potatoes, and gagged because of how salty they were. So I tried mine, and again, extremely salty. Honestly freeze dried instant potatoes were less salty. Then her chicken was extremely dry. How on earth do you dry out, a chicken quarter?! Her entire plate other than the carrots were inedible. My porchetta was flavorless, and the potatoes were also inedible. The waiter was very attentative and immediately comped the chicken dish, and offered free desserts. She had the chocolate cake, which was ok, and I had the crembrule, which was also just ok. All in all, it was $74 dollars (that's with her entree off the bill), that I wish we spent elsewhere. read more

At the beginning of January I was searching for a venue for my daughter in-law's baby shower. I completed the online function form on three separate occasions. When I did not hear back, I called and spoke to a polite young man who indicated the function coordinator named Hailey would be in that day and I would receive a call from her. It is now a month later and I still haven't received an email or returned call. When spending over $5,000 for a shower, or any amount for that matter, I would expect professionalism and courtesy. Brady's displayed neither. I'm thankful to have found a beautiful venue in Shrewsbury. They are eager and willing to help me coordinate a memorable event. I was hoping to support a local business by choosing Brady's but they obviously have little regard for their customers. It's a disgraceful way to run a business. Suitably impressed with the quality and breath of experience at this fine restaurant. As absolutely difficult as it is during these days of Covid 19 social distancing and ALL that entails, these folks have made it possible to have a fine and fun dining experience with quality in all they do. Food, service and ambiance were all high quality elements including but not limited to ingredients, preparations and presentations. I had a bigger party about 10 girls and the service was ok. No better! some girls didn't get there drinks until we reminded the waiter. The food took a long time and it was honestly gross it was 6 out of 10 TOPS!! All the steaks were rare and bland, and super fatty. The spaghetti and meatballs was super watery. The dessert was ok. My husband and I had eaten at Brady's three times and were super impressed. So impressed that we insisted on going for my sister's 65th birthday. We were a party of six and our reservation was for the evening of February 19th. Our server was attentive at first, but even the drinks were slow to come to our table. We weren't served bread, but noticed every other server was serving it to their tables. We ordered our appetizers which came out somewhat slow, but we're very good. Then things really went downhill. We waited two hours from the time our appetizers came out for our food. We ordered our entrees well before our appetizers were served. When we inquired about our food, our server kept telling us it would be out soon and and was being fired up. We watched other tables be seated, served, pay, and leave while we sat there and waited. He told us that at least twice in an hour. Then he came to tell us that there was only one rib eye available (there were two orders at our table) and it would be replaced with the dry aged rib eye for the same price. We got there at 6:15, our food was delivered to our table at 8:45. One entree was very good. Another was surf and turf and the lobster was cold. The dry aged ribeye was neither of those- it was a regular non-aged strip steak. My ribeye was not the 16 ounces as advertised, pounded out thin, and was almost well done - I ordered medium rare. And, my steak was put on top of my risotto, causing the risotto to be pink and unappetizing. Oh, the birthday girl and her husband left before the entrees were served because they were so frustrated. It would have been nice to talk to our server about the issues with the food, but he didn't check on us until it was time for the checks. They also added my sister and her husband's entrees to our check even though our server said they wouldn't be charged. So, we had to wait for that to be fixed. I guarantee my sister and brother-in-law will never be back. In the end, I did have a word with the server who tried to explain that they overbooked the dining room and there were two functions, so they had to stop serving the dining room. Why did everyone around us get their food then? I have the feeling our order didn't go through and the mistake was found late. The truth would have been nice. Oh, I also emailed them this information directly on their website. No response. It's been a week. So, here I am going public with my story. What a shame. read more

Amazing Ambiance, doesn't look like anything special from outside but they have done a great job inside and it's the perfect date night spot! Food was ok ordered Steak Freitas but left still hungry for the price I paid. Consider this closer to a 4.5 star - Took the family out for a birthday. The restaurant is gorgeous with ample parking. The service is wonderful! Jodi was our server and an amazing one at that! The appetizers were wonderful, we got the grilled avocado, oysters, and the escargot. Delicious all around! Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal, aside from me. I ordered the duck - which came with asparagus and an au gratin style potato. Now the duck was great. The sides left something to be desired. IMPO - the potatoes needed salt, and asparagus was on the woody side. And while I do not dislike nutmeg, the classic preparation of the potatoes was slightly heavy handed. I definitely want to go back and try something else. I had a small bite of the lobster risotto... and I'm still thinking about it. The drink options are also nice! I had a Pear Collins. 1st time visit - Great place! Couldn't get reservations so we called and they let us know that they have a bar area that has tables for first-come first-serve open at 4 pm, so we left early and got there for 5 pm on a Saturday, scored a great table for 4. Drinks were awesome. My go-to is a Grey Goose martini, extra-dry, bleu cheese stuffed olives. At Brady's, they hand stuff their olives, and they are PERFECT! It's this kind of attention to detail that sets Brady's apart, a nice touch. You know what I mean if you have ever had the pre-packaged stuffed olives, there's no comparison. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, roasted cauliflower, and fried artichokes - all were delicious! We ate the 40 cloves of garlic pan roasted chicken, salmon on a Cesar salad, and the zucchini noodles with eggplant "meat" balls - vegetarian dish, and a pasta dish with spicy sausage. All were excellent! Highly recommend Brady's! We will go back. The place was packed when we left, so get a reservation or go early like we did. Sam our waiter was great too! read more

Some of the food was excellent and some was meh. Ordered lobster risotto and the lobster was cold, though there was a good portion of it. Sticky toffee pudding was excellent but brown butter cake was definitely not. Server was nice but extremely harried. He forgot a few things, like drinks and appetizer plates. It seemed like he was too busy, not really his fault. These are the times for that I guess. It had nice atmosphere inside. Very well decorated. There were two people at the front desk and the man was warm and welcoming but the young lady seemed bored and uninterested. For the money I'd go elsewhere. read more

Chef/Owner from Sanoma when it was in Princeton. Sort of the same eclectic menu from previous. Love having options that you don't see other places! And an always changing menu. I enjoyed his famous escargots. Always had when eating at Sanoma and they were just as good! I ordered off the specials menu and loved the fact that they allowed me to slightly change the meal. I didn't want the backed haddock over the fish stew, so they allowed me to have it with rice and grilled veggies. Prices are reasonable for what you are getting. Portions are good sized too. GREAT wine list!!! Do t feel as though you have to get dressed up, but you can if you feel like it. Obviously not a cut off tank and board shorts type of place. But a dressy casual attire will suffice. A must try in the area. Was a very, very good meal. read more

In our 3rd visit to this amazing establishment I felt 100% motivated to write an outstanding review. Not only have every single one of our meals been excellent, but we can't say enough about the staff at Brady's. We didn't even make it in the b and we were welcomed, greeted and guided to help us find the right space for our evening by not one, not two, but 3 friendly, upbeat and kind folks. Servers with smiles, bartenders with cheer and hostess' with the perfect table for our dinner! Everything moving forward was equally as great!! Drinks... perfect! Meals amazing! And ummm dessert?? Can you say WOW!! If you lucky enough to have Maya as your server count your blessings!! She was the bomb!! We ventured next door to try Brady's side bar 37. Menu is a limited but diverse. The wife got the Bahn Mi braised short rib sandwich. She said it was terrible. Spicy but super sweet and the meat had to be cut with a knife. The meat cut and looked liked steak tips. These were not braised tender. I got the Sunday dinner which is a sausage (small like a hot dog), one meatball and what tasted like a bbq pork rib then just sauce thrown over it. The sauce was bland and needed a lot of help in flavor. The special was a Wagyu opened faced sandwich appx 6oz for $28. I asked what type of Wagyu but expected it to be Australian due to lower price point over Japanese A5 which would be $100 or more. The waitress verified it was Australian. But over and over again I heard the bar tender telling the patrons it was Japanese A5. Completely misleading and frankly stealing from the customers. If you do not know Wagyu then it would be like comparing Salisbury steak to filet. This is my third time here and all three times the food was so disappointing and lacking flavor. Last Saturday night, my birthday, asked my wife to make reservations here. For those who don't know Brady's it's an mid-upper scale restaurant in Leominster. We chose appetizers; French onion soup in a small oval crock, last time it was in a larger bowl, soup was great; Escargot was a good portion and delicious; Eggplant fries were good but burnt, did take away from the taste. Entrees were Pork Osso Bucco which was dry with Pea Raviolis and mushy peas (too many peas), root vegetables were hard to find and the pork special was too small a portion and not cooked as ordered. Dessert was great. I don't know the name it but it was like a flan with caramel and nuts, side of cinnamon coated vanilla ice cream. Our server Steve was attentive but I would have liked a table touch by the manager. My opinion only: Restaurants of this caliper must be consistent. If a restaurant is good I expect good the next time or better. I go to eat different things not cooked at home although my wife has cooked some epic meals. read more

First off- I can't even take the 1 star review seriously. They mention the food was "mediocre and pedestrian" yet they ordered pretzel bites and cheese at the bar. If I were you I'd disregard that. It's almost like they are the arch nemesis of this place and made a fake review. I typically don't leave reviews but I saw that one and had to make sure I left a review about my great experience. Anyways, I went there for lunch and I had a fantastic experience. It was my first time going. The hostess was very nice and our waiter (Daniel maybe?) was very nice and attentive. Making sure we had a great experience. Inside is nice and it's an a location of Leominster that's easy to find parking. The food was unreal. I had lobster corn chowder-very good. Nice lobster chunks. Fried chicken pops for an app were excellent. I'd go back daily for those. For the entree I had the sirloin burger. One of the better burgers I've had in a while. Good choice of drinks. You can get tall or short drinks which I love as I go for the tall. Great place to catch up with friends, take your mother to lunch like what I was doing, dates, etc. We sat inside but they had nice outdoor seating under a tent it looks like. This is in Leominster?! It's been a while since I went back to the town I grew up in (decades, actually) but, wow, places like this weren't around when I was there last. Brady's helps elevate the profile of this little Northern Central MA town. Couldn't make a reservation for me and a friend but stopped in on a busy Saturday night and had to wait 45 minutes. No problem! Grabbed drinks at the bar and took them outside to enjoy on a tiny sliver of a bar on the sidewalk. Scored a seat there with my friend and did a lot of catching up while we waited for the text telling us our table was ready. Friendly service, tasty menu (and cocktails), and lots of laughing and reminiscing at a restaurant I couldn't imagine would have existed here. Bravo! read more

Brady's restaurant is exactly what you would expect from a chef owned restaurant. Quality food and drink! My husband and I were huge fans of Brady's Sonoma in Princeton MA. And we followed him to this creation of his. The burgers are phenomenal. So very juicy and delicious (even at medium well and well done like I like them). We went this past Sunday for their new Brunch. This is going to be THE place to go for brunch! I had a wagyu burger on brioche bun with cheddar sauce and shoestring fries. The burger was fantastic. Probably among the very best I have eaten. I LOVED the make your own mimosa idea. I had a prosecco, apple cider creation with a caramel apple rim. This was amazing. Definitely worth a try. My husband had the chicken and waffles and declared it among the very best he has had as well. And his mimosa was with pineapple juice, prosecco and caramel apple rim. Also very very good. The service is excellent as well. I love the service at Brady's restaurants. His servers are professional and hustle. I can't say a bad thing about this restaurant. We will be back many many times! I've been eating with Bill Brady since Sonoma in Princeton, and I've seen that he is capable of producing some of the most amazing flavor combinations anywhere (handily beating restaurants with chefs who have Michelin stars to my palette). Sonoma in Worcester was a step down from that - it felt somehow more compromising, more mass-market, safer and less exciting. As of today I think Brady's is on par with the likes of the 110 Grille (cooking is better and less greasy, but the flavors are just missing). Fried artichoke hearts francaise - which tasted only of artichoke and egg (no evidence of the promised lemon or wine). The lasagna was pretty good. The plant-based meatballs were bland. The Bucatini promised me TWO different salted cured meats but I found not evidence in terms of sight or flavor, the pasta was over-worked, and over-sauced, and bland. Service was good, if still getting dialed in. Ambiance and the feel of the restaurant is excellent. The thing that will bring me back again (and it surely will) is the fact that I had the best flavors of my life cooked by Bill Brady, and I hope that this can be chalked up to being in the shakedown period. read more

Another great meal at Brady's tonight. Our server, Ed, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and attentive but not overly intrusive or pushy. We had decided on menu items but when we heard the specials, we all changed our orders and were not sorry! Tuna poke and calamari appetizers were prepared and presented beautifully, veal chop was delicious, cioppino was very flavorful and the seafood was cooked to perfection, the lamb steaks with purple potatoes and spinach stuffed tomato were done perfectly and my husband joined the clean plate club with that! Sadly no room for dessert. My son loves the sticky toffee pudding with the dirty vanilla ice cream. We will be back! read more

Outstanding! From the amazing staff to the wonderful menu! Wow just Wow! Everything was off the charts terrific. The corn shrimp chowder is 5 star! A meal in itself!! But don't stop there, the boneless short ribs, they bring a steak knife you don't need it, amazing flavors, wonderful texture. The grilled avocado appetizer, you can't even imagine how Devine. Outside of Worcester the rest of central Massachusetts is an epicurean waste land dotted with below average chain restaurants (110 grill, the 99), pizza parlors and just downright bad food choices. Well surprise! This place is actually really really really good! Went there w my GF, the Donald and pat on a Saturday night. The atmosphere and decor is strikingly cozy and warm for Leominster. Exposed brick, great bar and the bartender knew how to actually make a decent Manhattan. The menu? Kind of challenging. And a decent wine list to boot!we started with some tasty mussels in a spicy broth and a very large piece of grilled garlicky bread. And then came the only screw up of the night. I ordered a Caesar w xtra anchovies that got delivered to the wrong table (the guy ate it any way) and my replacement was good but the romaine was a bit tepid. Anyway moving on the Donald got the boneless ribeye w mushrooms and mashed, pat got the lasagna my GF got duck over a very nice polenta and I got the blackened swordfish over a mushroom risotto w roasted cherry tomatoes. The steak, ordered MR, came out perfect. Pat attacked the lasagna like she hadn't had a meal in a week. My GF crushed the duck. And the swordfish? I'm not sure if they poached it in butter before searing it but it was moist, fresh and fantastic. The risotto was on point and the tomatoes added a sweet undertone that really complimented the fish. This place is just on point. And Laurel our waiter just added to the experience.
