    Broken Dosa on the top

As I had mentioned earlier that this is not a Authentic South Indian restaurant, Dosas are flat and sambar is daal, I got a reply for my first review that I should be mentioning to the server instead of a apology.... Anyway two weeks ago my friends from south India were visiting us and would like to taste Dosa, I took a chance and went to this'Brahmabul' restaurant. Again the flat dosa, my dosa was broken on the top, when we mentioned to the server instead, she said it has to be like that..... Samber is peas Punjabi Daal, never recommend this restaurant for South Indian Dishes

Enjoyed my dinner there. Had the butter chicken served thali style and it comes with Nan and a few other side dishes. I also got the samosas. I definitely had left overs.

Delicious freshly made, light crispy perfection dosa!

I was craving a fresh dosa and Brahma did not disappoint! I was perfect that I ordered other items from the menu to go. And such wonderful and attentive service by everyone, too!!

The standout for us was definitely the chole bhature--perfectly spiced, rich, and paired with soft, fluffy bhature that just melted in your mouth. The nutri kulcha was another highlight, packed with flavor and cooked just right. To top it off, the masala soda was refreshingly tangy and a great complement to the meal. And don't miss the fish pakore--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor. Overall, Chatore delivers a fantastic dining experience with truly delicious food. Can't wait to come back and try more from the menu!

First time I've ever ran to Yelp to review!…read more First point and most important... WHY is everyone talking about the prices? Not only is this on par for Indian food. It's a lot more affordable than other restaurants. $5 for three Samosas? That's a killer appetizer for cheap! And they're good--some places put way too much seasoning on the outside. The menu: A lot more variety, and compared to other Indian restaurants the menu is easy to navigate and very Anglicized for newcomers to Indian food. The food: I accidentally ordered the wrong sandwich(I had seen the tikka roll on Yelps ig) and I got the tandoori sandwich but I am not complaining that was amazing and I didn't even know it came with fries. Butter chicken was medium and it was perfectly creamy, slightly spicy, soooo much sauce which is perfect because I dipped my sandwich AND samosas in there. I am so stuffed and I have food left for days(which is great bc if I love anything more than Indians food it's cold Indian leftover straight from the fridge) The service was great, young girl at the front was so sweet and helpful when I said it was my first time. Worth spending my money here at a family owned restaurant that serves up awesome food in a clean and open space--a must try!

Everyone was so welcoming from the get go. The best part about this restaurant was that they accommodate Jain restrictions and other allergies with almost everything on their menu. The owner himself is Jain and a very great host. Everyone came and checked on us and our time here was just amazing. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Their bread pakora reminded me of my childhood in Mumbai. Everything here is made to order and the taste was really fresh. Our entire order was Jain friendly but tasted exactly it would taste if it wasn't Jain. I definitely recommend gajar halwa and kulfi, the combo when I mixed it was really delicious. I can probably go on and on about the taste and service but even the restaurant was very clean especially for an Indian place and the ambiance was very nice too. I will definitely revisit the place whenever I'm in Fresno or passing by it.

This was my first time as I was looking for a quick lunch option nearby my workplace…read more I've visited a few local Indian grocery stores with hot counters and I was very impressed with their variety of products. I could've easily spent an hour shopping in there. But I ended up trying their Samosa Chaat dish as I've favored that at other Indian counters before. I waited for about 10 minutes and it was ready. I took it to go and had drove about 10 minutes. By the time I was able to enjoy it, it was cold sadly. The flavors were there but I think eating it there was a better option. Will try again and enjoy it there. They had an entire seating area inside for guests to enjoy their meals.

Just walking in to New India Sweets and Spices is a magical experience! Let your eyes feast on the myriad of colorful sweets to your right, including gulab jamun and other delicacies made with pistachios, cardamom, coconut and other colorful ingredients! Then take your time checking out each aisle. They have a variety of rice imported from India, with several brands of Basmati which is the staple used in Indian Cuisine. Next you'll encounter the pickles and chutneys that normally accompany an Indian meal. My favorite is Mango Chutney. Fresh produce is located to your left and refrigerated & frozen items are in the same area and at the back, including frozen meals such as samosas, curry/rice etc. Then there's Kulfi ice cream, lassi ( yoghurt) drinks, and other dairy essentials. At the very back is the cafe specializing in Chaat, the sweet, spicy Indian Street Food. My go to order is Samosa Chana Chaat; 2 crispy samosas in a bed of chickpeas, smothered in zesty yoghurt sauce, with tomatoes, cilantro topping. Delish!! Aloo Parantha is a kids' favorite; flatbread stuffed with spicy potatoes. Stimulate your palate by browsing the pungent incense sticks while your order is being prepared. Ayurvedic supplements are also available at more reasonable prices than health food stores. They have turmeric, neen and my lifesaver Ashwagandha which reduces stress, and helps painful joints. I am so glad we have this gem of a store here in the heart of the city!
