Cajun crawfish Alfredo with andouille sausage and broccoli.

The fried catfish was good, sweet potato fries were also good. The Cajun Alfredo had a TON of spices in it. Couldn't even eat half of it because it's way too salty/spicy. Kind of like they just dumped the seasoning on it.

Third time eating at this food truck and he never disappoints. Grilled shrimp was what I ordered the first two times but, this time I tired the honey gold fish. Omg!!

You order online, pick up your order. Simple as that! You don't even have to get out of the car. It takes a while to bring your food, because the parking lot is completely full of customers who come back for this deliciousness. The menu has amazing options. Next time I'll share pictures of my food. Today I had grilled shrimp, fries, and Hawaiian roll. The lemonade is superb! And addictive! Will definitely return to try every single thing on the menu.

I've been eager to try this place out because, the food looks delicious. I ordered the alfredo pasta bowl($12), I added shrimp($7) for 4 shrimps and I added salmon($6). I also added Cajun Alfred sauce ($2.50). The pasta was good but, it was lacking cajun seasoning and alfredo sauce. I was expecting it to be spicy but, it wasn't. I placed an online order @ 12:02pm and I didn't receive my food until 20 minutes after it said it was ready for pickup @ 12:25pm but, it was ready at 12:40pm. For almost $30 you'd think it comes with bread and/or a drink but, everything is ala carte. Also, with the amount of oil that was in the bottom of the bowl the pasta isn't cooked fresh. You can tell it's microwaved. I love supporting us but, for $30 I was expecting it to blow my taste buds through the roof and it did not!

The food was amazing the customer service was great, and overall was a great experience. I was visiting the city and found the restaurant and was immediately treated with kindness. The customer service was fantastic. The food tasted fresh, seasoned really well, and was neatly placed inside the To- Go boxes. I definitely recommend this restaurant, however they are take out only and pricey. The price was worth it though!

I arrived at 6:30 took me about 5-6 minutes to order(online only) and the website restricted it. They told me they stopped taking orders at 7:00 pm(although they close at 8pm) when the time was still 6:30 ~ish. The younger guy bringing me food had smart remarks, and the taller gentleman with short hair and a gap was sarcastic while watching me order. After all the rudeness the guy looked at my screen and when he saw my total was $73 he was quick to put my order in. I didn't get my food until an hour later. Very Bland, and very basic food for those prices. Very disappointed in this black owned business. Please enter with caution, if you enter at all.

Coastal Fish Company is always a great spot for a romantic night out or a great dinner experience…read more For starters, we had the NOLA oysters, and they are probably my favorite oysters in Memphis. I love the sauce, and you can definitely tell the oysters are fresh. Next, we had the steak and mashed potatoes -- the steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The lobster bisque was my starter, and it was honestly one of the best I've had in a while. The only small disappointment was the dessert , pineapple upside down cake. It seemed a little overcooked because it had a slightly burnt taste at the bottom. Overall, the service is always 10/10, and I'd give the food a solid 9/10. Definitely one of my favorite places in Memphis for a quality dining experience. i'd like to come back again and watch the sunset from the patio.

Our server was barely attentive to our table. She went around checking on other tables near us, but hardly came to ours at all. The only time she really interacted with us was when she brought the check. No follow-up, no asking how the food was, no drink refills--nothing. It honestly felt like we were overlooked the entire time. To make things worse, she wasn't even the one who brought out our food. Someone else dropped it off, and after that we were basically on our own. For a restaurant at this price point, I expected much more attentive and professional service. The food didn't make up for it either. I ordered the Chilean sea bass, and it was very underwhelming. The fish lacked flavor, the potatoes were soggy, and overall it just wasn't enjoyable. Definitely not what you expect for the price. Overall, between the inattentive service and the disappointing food, the experience just didn't live up to the hype at all.

The bar itself is intimate with about 8 seats, so get there early if you want one. From the outside, the place looks like a literal house, but once you step inside it's a whole vibe: low lighting, great music, and nonstop food and drinks flowing. The bartenders were amazing--friendly, attentive, and clearly know what they're doing. We ordered wings, fries, Brussels sprouts, and spring rolls, plus a spicy margarita and French 75s. Every single thing hit. The food came out quick, fresh, and piping hot, and the drinks were perfectly balanced. By the time we left around 7 PM, the place was completely packed. This spot fills up fast for a reason. Can't wait to come back and work our way through more of the menu. Highly recommend--this is a must-visit.

They have a beautiful restaurant side as well as a bar side which often has great DJs and a happy hour. The happy hour menu had some great options and I thought the prices were more than reasonable. I tried their wings, which, if you like buffalo wings, you will love. They also have great fries if you like to get a little something to share. Their spicy margarita is actually spicy AND strong, so that's my drink recommendation! As well as trying the outdoor bar, I also went into the restaurant side to sit and try more food. I do think the prices for food are a little high, but you can tell that the dishes are fresh and high-quality (I believe they get their noodles from Good Fortune downtown). For example, this noodle dish was $18 and it was just filling enough. I will go back to try more things because the food and drinks were great quality, and the ambiance exudes a funky New Orleans bar. Just be ready to drop some $!

We have visit the restaurant for several occasion and never had an experience like this before this was embarrass and disgraceful. The server was great and the food was great. The problem I have is the manager (Mark) on duty was very rude and unprofessional toward my family. We were all talking and having a great time three of them were standing and talking to the each other and playing with the baby. He walked up and said to them you need to sit down right now. I think if there was a problem with anyone he could have came in a respectful way and said excuse me can you have a sit for me and lower your voices to respect the other people that are dinning in the area. This man was rude and stood on the side with his arms cross and watched my family this was wrong on every level that people in the restaurant start looking and talking which was so embarrassing to us. I think the company need to give each employee any manager some more training on how to connect, interact, and speak with customers. Thank you,

How in the gash darn hell have I not written a review for The Half Shell Memphis?!?!?…read more I've been coming here since birth. Ok. Maybe not that long. Most definitely since I can remember. My parents had the blandest worst taste for food, so I was a depraved child as far as flavor was concerned. We ate at very blah places and my Mom was the pickiest person in the world, but.... She loved this fried shrimp! So we came here often. I grew up in Parkway Village so we were always nearby. Fast forward to my Yelp days. My first CM, Joelle had a part ownership of this place when I first started Yelping. We even had her going away party here when Yelp ruined the Memphis Elite Program with part time CM's for our city. She was part owner and we hung out there so it seemed inappropriate to write a review. Besides, I knew Danny pretty well too and that was also a conflict. Nowadays it's been bought by the folks that turned Forrest Hill Grill around. They have closed the location on Winchester (which I called years ago) and opened up in Germantown on Poplar. I have no idea who these people are so I guess it's time. I have not been to the new one, but I have seen the menu. I do not have any intentions of rushing to try it. Seems as if they butchered the whole dang menu. Anywho.... I still like this one. It's pretty run down, but the food is still good. It's still the original menu with all the treats. They have a freaking Monte Cristo sandwich folks! I know of less than five places left that still serve them. When is the last time you saw a twice baked potato? Here it is!! They still have a changing weekly, "daily special". They still have an intense regular bar business. Good luck getting a seat at the bar at any given time. Best of all they still have those damn tasty fried shrimp! Oh they are so good! The best ever man. The sauces they serve are great. I've been up and down the menu and it's almost always great. Oysters are some of the best charbroiled that there are anywhere in Shelby County. Long live OG Half Shell! Please never change! '25 - 44/111
