Roof of my car - grease, dirt & pen?

Pretty bummed about my experience yesterday at this location and could not be paid to return. I have only taken my car to the dealership for all services, except for my last oil change I took it here. I only chose to go again yesterday as I was recently laid off and wanted to save a little money. I should have gone to the dealership instead. The wait wasn't bad at all. However, the gentleman that was up front mentioned "I told you last time you'd need your cabin air filter replaced and you do." He rattled off a few other things needed totaling over $300. But last time, he wasn't the gentleman that helped me at all, and, the gentleman that did - didn't mention anything about filters. Which I'm not surprised since I had changed them in February. I told him I was not able to do the $300+ in services as I was recently laid off and only budgeted for an oil change but took note of what he'd mentioned. Compassion is not as common these days, as he didn't say a thing and just walked out to the shop to let them know I guess. I paid and got into my car and put the paperwork in the glovebox. ALL of my glove box contents were on top of my sunglasses, rather than it being how I'd left it. So everything must've dumped out and then just thrown back in without much care - that added to some irritation I felt, but whatever. To my surprise, I couldn't shut it. I messed with it for a bit and then a different gentleman was at my window asking if everything was okay. I told him no and asked if he could help with the glove box. He also couldn't get it to shut without being forceful and called someone else over to help. Between the two of them, they figured it out enough to where it shut with some resistance, but still shut. I left and noticed my car still had that heavy/chugging along feeling when accelerating when it needs the oil changed. I noticed this before back in March, but gaslit myself into thinking I was "feeling" things. However, my car does not feel like it is running smoothly after the oil change like I'd always noticed it would before. Getting back into my car today, I noticed a pen mark on my center console, grease/dirt above my passenger visor, the roof of the interior right before my moon roof, and along the side of my window on the upholstery. I am PISSED. I now get to figure out how to get these stains out of my cars upholstery without paying someone else to detail it (laid off, remember?), my car doesn't feel any better, and I have a janky glovebox. Needless to say, I absolutely will not be returning and feel like I should've listened when others told me not to go outside of a dealership for services. It feels like a waste of money, my interior now has 4 sizable stains that I did not make in these last 24 hours, and my glove box shuts with some serious resistance.

This is what I found a week after my Brake Masters, passenger side loose tie Rod, it was way out of alignment when corrected.

Update, last two visits had issues.... I found the New AC caps I had just installed were gone from my Cherokee after Brake Masters checked it for me. It was only $5 or $6, but had to go to the store again..... The big issue - I took my new Tacoma in after having installed a lift kit..... they aligned it but due to the geometry of the lift kit, it would not get into spec for the camber, not Brake Masters fault at all.... It drove OK but seemed to be getting worse daily and pulling left then right... The following Saturday I installed some ARB upper control arms specifically to bring it into spec on the Camber, and I happened to notice that the Tie Rod End was not tightened from the previous weekend by Brake Masters.. I had planned to just drive it for a week without a new alignment but this created an issue that had to be immediately addressed so I called Brake Masters and explained what was going on and they told me they couldn't get me in..... I ended up having to go somewhere else, the only availability I could find was Pep Boys, so that's where I went, they did OK and found that the toe was way out and they confirmed Tie Rod had been backing out, good thing I found it, could have caused an accident..... Anyway, that's my last 2 visits....

Classic crooks. Came in with a $69 coupon for a simple alignment but of course they find some trash excuse to try and sell me more. "Your tires don't have enough tread to do an alignment". Ok buddy, go sell your garbage somewhere else. I knew this was going to be a problem when the greasy guy behind the counter was chatting up some pre-teen girl when I dropped the car off.

I purchased four tires for my Ford Transit work van and trusted their recommendation, assuming they were providing the correct tires for the vehicle. Less than a year later, one of the tires began splitting. I took the van to another shop that was closer because I did not feel safe driving all the way back to their shop. It was at the new shop where I was informed that the tires installed on my van were not properly rated to handle the weight of the vehicle and should not have been installed in the first place. I contacted Christian Brothers to explain the situation and was told I would need to drive the van back to their shop -- despite the damaged tire -- for them to determine whether anything would be covered under warranty. While I was getting the quote elsewhere to replace all four tires, Christian Brothers called back and offered a slightly lower price if I purchased another full set through them. In the end, the difference was only about $100 compared to the other shop. A shop I had never even used before, and that was the cost with no additional warranties or discounts (like Christian Brothers was claiming to be giving me). They stated they were giving me tires at cost and not charging for labor, not true. They tried to make it seem like they were doing me some huge favor by giving me such a small discount. Their front desk employee, Eric was as "helpful" as he could be throughout the process, but overall should have pushed harder with his upper management to resolve this. They should have completely comped the price of the old tires as this was their, dangerous mistake. Now they're not only making money off of me but also causing me to lose additional money by missing work to fix a problem they caused. I'm extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled, especially considering the original tires that they chose were improper for a work van like mine. All of this resulted in me needing to purchase two sets of tires within a single year!!! I expressed to them that being without my van would result in loss of money as it is my work vehicle. They had no concern for my time, money and no sense of urgency to resolve the situation that they caused. I had to leave my vehicle with them for more than a day the first time and again overnight the second time. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!

After inspection, was sent a comprehensive evaluation AND was taken through all the points by Brian (Bryan?), and shown/told that car had a coolant leak that was likely going to result in having a $5000+ repair sooner than later. Some of the BEST $ I ever spent! I ALWAYS suggest pre-purchase inspection of ANY used car, irrespective of ANY dealership saying "we thoroughly inspect all of our vehicles."

I brought my car in…read morefor a simple front engine mound, front struts and asked if they can check the oil level because I just had my oil changed last month and it's saying the level is low. This should've been a one day job after they got the parts but they had my car from 6/22 - 7/1 due to their complete incompetence. The day the job should've been done I started sensing they messed something up because I got a text message at 1030 stating the job was done and they were wrapping up. Cool, I'll be expecting a call in an hour or so. 1:40 comes around, no phone call so I call them. Give me some BS about they need the alignment and they only have one lift and they've been booked all day. Call back at 4:40, they tell me they are waiting for someone to test drive it. Call back at 5:40, close to closing and I'm told it's ready. Come in as I'm paying, over $2k mind you, Bryan asks if I'm aware of the light that's on. I tell him no because no one has called me about anything. I assume he meant the low oil level light that was on and it was no big deal. Walk out to my car and my check engine, engine malfunction, low oil pressure, red oil can and my console screen telling me to pull over immediately is all lit up. I go get Bryan, he comes out and looks. He says it's not a big deal and that it's safe to drive. A mechanic.....is saying it's safe to drive with all those warning lights on. I ask him if it's safe to drive and unbeknownst to him I'm recording this entire conversation on Facebook voice messenger and when he says that the shop will be liable for anything that happens if I drive off I figure okay, I'll drive it home and bring it back in the morning after I work. As I'm leaving trying to turn left on baseline I almost get tboned by a jeep because my car will not accelerate. Take it back, livid, and leave it with them because what choice do I have? Days go by and we have to practically beg them to keep us informed. I can't work without my car and because of them I'm out over $2000 in lost wages. Throughout this they try and tell me it's my fault because I wasn't keeping up on oil changes and that's causing issues. I have receipts for every oil change I've gotten and the miles put on the car between them, don't tell me I'm not keeping up on my oil changes. After a week and clearly everyone and their mother that works at this joke of a shop they found the problem: the incompetent moron who worked on my car connected the wire harness wrong and it was causing my car to go into limp mode and light up everything on my dash. Over a week it took them to figure this one out. They probably could've opened up ChatGPT, put the issues in and gotten a result faster. I'm not a mechanic but I feel like if a car was working fine when it was brought in and after we worked on it it was quite literally undriveable I would triple check every. Single. Thing. I did to said car. I would keep the customer informed multiple times a day on what was going on instead of making them feel like they were completely forgotten about. Clearly these guys didn't care enough to do so. Don't EVER take your car here, they will screw up your car and not even care enough that you are out of work and costing you your livelihood. 10 days my car was in that shop. 10 days, for something that should've taken one and that's being generous, all because of their complete incompetence. Side note: not all Christian brothers are trash, my sister took hers to the one in San Tan Valley and they were amazing. This one is just horrific and they will be getting reported to the BBB and the AG. I am honestly astounded at how awful this place is.

We had the car towed over (2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid), and they diagnosed the problem and repaired the issue quickly and at a fair price. So we called back to Scott to see what he wanted us to do. We understand that sometimes mistakes are made and issues arise. How a business owner handles those issues are the difference between good businesses and great ones. This is a great one. Scott was MUCH more upset than we were! He got us back in same day and fixed the issue at no charge! (We should have paid for a necessary part, but he would not charge us.) With everything so expensive these days, and everyone trying to stretch a buck, it's hard to know if you're leaving your car with someone who cares about it as much as you do. Scott does.
