Damaged lug bolt. The lug nut is fully screwed on, and you can see the bolt drooping.
    Justin H.

Stay away! I wish I could put less than one star. The quality of the brake work is extremely poor--and this place is called Brake Masters! I had my brake pads replaced earlier this year, and I have never been so dissatisfied with brakes in my life. The brakes grind at low speeds, and when slowing down from regular driving speeds, I hear a very unpleasant rubbing noise. I took my car in this past Saturday to have Brake Masters fix the brake noise, and of course they told me that everything looked excellent--just some brake dust. I gave up and swore never to visit a Brake Masters shop again. On my way home, the TPMS light came on, and when I looked at the tire, it was almost completely flat. I put more air in the tire and drove down to my tire shop, where I left the car so it would be first in line after the weekend. When I went in on Monday morning, the tire shop showed me that the wheel lug bolt had been damaged, and they were unable to get the wheel off. I had to go to another auto shop, somewhere very close because the tire was losing air. This auto shop cut off the bolt and replaced the hub, which was not cheap. I was then able to get the tire replaced. I know Brake Masters caused all this because they had the wheels off to inspect the brakes. It would have been so much better if I had just written off these brakes as a learning lesson, and then taken the car somewhere reputable to have the brake work redone. At the end of this expensive experience, my brakes are still unpleasant, while my wheel and tire are simply back to the way they were before taking in the car for the evaluation of the brakes. Brake Masters is terrible and disreputable.

    Home in one piece.

They were ready for my appointment for a brake job and oil change. Turns out my brake mushiness was from the fluid lines- not brake pads as anticipated. So the job came in under HALF the cost that I was prepared for. Good visit, especially today- I had to make 2 different panic stops in traffic later. I could tell the improvement. I might have had different coutcomes with those stops the way my car was yesterday.

    Repair-pal cost estimate.

Good prices. I don't feel ripped off or taken advantage of because I'm a woman and live in a college city.

Turns out all they had to do was turn a wrench a tiny bit- so Josh (the Manager) didn't charge me a penny!

For a 16-year-old car, it didn't feel right. Before heading home, I stopped by Good Works Auto Body nearby. The owner came out, calmly took a look, reached inside, and adjusted the panel--the problem was gone in seconds. I also showed him the paint scratches on my car, and he gently wiped them off with thinner. Just like that, my car looked clean and blue again. When I asked what I owed, he smiled and said, "I didn't do anything--no charge." I was honestly taken aback. It's rare to meet someone who leads with genuine care instead of trying to make a quick transaction. This kind of integrity stays with you. I highly recommend this shop and will absolutely return.

Good works said it was a battery sensory that was wrong costing me over $600 dollars and a couple of days later my starter went out. They estimate was $1,000 dollars and the starter itself was $700. I had to go and research a fair price and was able to get it down a little, but with labor and SHOP Fee's it was almost the same price to fix. I Will never go back to the this place as the advertise to be a family shop and there prices are very high for all parts and labor. It left a very bad taste in my mouth as i had to spend over $1,400 dollars of repairs and the first battery sensory repair was not even needed. Go at your own risk Rob

District Mgr reached out after I emailed corp, he referred me to his Gilbert location and…read morethey took care of the alignment and wheels, he refunded my fee and said he would personally go to the Warner location and coach them. I've updated my rating for Express Oil as a general company, I can't vouch for the Warner location specifically. I took my vehicle in for ridiculously expensive alignment on my 1999 Expedition, $200, mainly to just get the steering wheel alignment straight after I replaced the pitman arm. The entire steering system has been upgraded with new parts, not modified in any way. Got the car back with steering now off center in other direction and marks all over my wheels and no warranty because they said the steering is modified, complete fiction. Then they wanted spray brake cleaner to remove the marks on the wheels, which anyone with even basic automotive knowledge knows will ruin the finish. Also, they tried to convince me that the steering play is a Ford thing, a mind numbingly stupid inference, they clearly think I don't know anything about cars. Please stay away from Express Oil on Warner and Kyrene, they don't have qualified technicians other than maybe for oil changes, even then I'd be hesitant, based on my conversation with the person in charge. Now I have to take my truck to a real garage to have the alignment fix and pay all over again.
