These guys are a total ripoff and embarrassment to Midas! When they "repaired" my brakes the first time around, they only replaced pads yet charged for rotors, etc. When a mechanic working there told me about it, the manager was pissed off that his mechanic was honest. They"repaired" what they were paid for initially. Now, when servicing the rear brakes, my mechanic noted that they knowingly and purposely stripped the bolts making the job that much more difficult!!! Don't believe their nonsense - avoid the "free oil change" and all of the other "benefits" of being a loyal customer! Midas is a total ripoff!!! read more

I ended up being highly disappointed. I came back to this location to get my break pads changed. I trusted them because my first experience was great. After they changed my break pads, I noticed my car's stopping power was quite reduced. The breaks almost felt spongy and way worse than they had ever felt before. I called in and dropped my car off again. I was able to pick it up the next day and was informed that I should replace my rotors along with new pads. I already paid for the break pads and the rotors would've been an additional fee; and I knew my rotors were fine. A brake bleed was also performed which made the cars stopping power even worse; to the point where I had to slam on my breaks to stop. There was also mechanic grease left on my steering wheel. I called BMW immediately to book an appointment with them. BMW expressed I did not need rotors, they replaced my break pads and explained to me that the break bleed was done improperly. BMW completed the job perfectly and I felt much safer driving my car. Going forward, I will just have to trust the dealership. read more

Unfortunately I had a really good experience at this Midas multiple times but I won't be going back. I had a transmission pan gasket replaced and not even a few months later the transmission is completely dry again. I called to see if it was under warrantee and all they wanted was to do other inspections on other parts (more money in their pocket) instead of checking over their work. Very disappointed read more

I requested an oil change online on Sunday for a Monday afternoon (4p) appointment. To my surprise, my appt was confirmed early Monday morning. (prior places only do them in the morning and need to book several days in advance) Hyatt greeted me with a friendly smile and attitude. Took my coupon and let me know he'd have in done within 45-60 min. He offered local establishments nearby that I could walk to while waiting which was a great idea! The appointment went fine. However, everything after the appointment took place has NOT been fine. Whichever joker worked on my car, didn't put my oil dip stick in all the way. They COVERED the entire engine in oil. This not only had my engine smoking but it burned out my driving belt. $430 AT THE DEALERSHIP TO FIX THEIR CARELESSNESS AND SLOPPY ATTEMPT AT AN OIL CHANGE. I came in the first time a couple months ago for oil change and was surprised to find they also do a full inspection of your vehicle at no cost. It bright a lot of very good information about my vehicle to light without having to pay the extra money to find out what I needed to do to fix my vehicle. Then I had the most exceptional experience when they had accidentally forgotten to give me back the key lock for my tires. I would recommend this location for any and all services they do on your vehicle. They are kind, courteous and remembered me from the only time I had been in there and when the mistake was made he provided us with a very appropriate compensation for the mistake which all of us are capable of making. This location has been good to me for the past couple years up until recently! They just haven't had the best service. Today i decided to give them one more chance so I called to schedule an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. They told me they're accepting walk ins til 4. So I drive over and there's maybe 2 vehicles in the bay. A blue Dodge and I forget the other one. I stand in the waiting room waiting to get helped out for 15 min before walking out and getting in my car and driving off. Just sad that the service at this location has gone so down hill. read more

If you're looking for exceptional customer service and quality workmanship this is where you want to bring your car. Hayat was amazing from my first phone call and was rey willing to take great care of our 2000 Jeep XJ. I asked him to do an inspection of my front end as I had come in for an alignment. I knew I needed some work done. He did a detailed inspection for me and even drew about a complete diagram of what I needed to fix or replace. He went over in great detail what I needed and exactly what I was dealing with. This store was very busy and was also down a key staff member due to illness, so I knew it was not an overnight job. and that was fine. I told him not to rush my job because we did not need the Jeep back immediately. He was surprised and thankful at the same time. I've been in his shoes. Hayat called and/or texted constantly to keep me up to date on my repairs. When I received our Jeep back he had gone above and beyond to take exceptional care of us. No problem for us at all but because of staffing issue and being flat out very busy we didn't want to "Be one of those." So I told him I was not a rush job, and to get caught up and work on mine during the slower times, when he could some. It was just a pleasure to work with him and help him like he was helping us. He took care of a few things that he saw while replacing my front end components..and did not change us. That was very kind of him and definitely not expected, especially from an auto repair shop - That's like finding chicken teeth today. I guess the best compliment I can give is I would hire Hayat to work for me and be extremely pleased with his above and beyond customer service attitude he would give my customers. You have a amazing opportunity to grow him for a regional or more senior position. It's just that evident to me. You're very lucky to have a person representing himself for your company. These are the people who can help grow your business! Mitis was open on a Saturday, even though they only had two technicians they got us in same day. Not long ago i had a couple things done on my car at Midas close to my residence in Tempe. A few days later had some major concerns on my car again but no one was available in my area. I came into get a oil change and a few other items done due to buying the vehicle recently and wanted to see what else I could get fixed today. Dave was like great I got time but that all that changed when I told him I already paid for an oil change through Groupon he told me just send it back and he would do it at his normal price 59.99 and that with a Groupon he would have to charge me 10 dollars to dispose of oil I said great let's do it now he doesn't have time and it's going to be at least minimum of 2 hours he has 6 - 8 cars in front of me and he can get me a ride home. This is the start of a trust issue now I don't trust them cause he was dishonest knew he messed up and never apologized. All it took for him to do was lie to my face to not trust the Midas name. The question I had for him a few minutes ago you had all the time to work on it when I first walked in but then I mention Groupon and now it's going to take hours. Did I miss something. Sound like a place I would not recommend any one I know to go to. Customer service and honesty is the thing of the past and definitely is not something I found at Midas all cause of one person Dave if that's his real name.
