I went here for an oil change after getting screwed by Big O one too many times. Im so glad I did because they also notified me that I needed new shocks/struts. Mind you this is after Big O replaced my brakes and never noticed my bad shocks, which I had complained about..I've been through 2 sets of tires from Big O and never once did they look at my shocks, but supposedly check everything. Everyone here was so friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions managed to repair my car in the same day. They drove me home and would have picked me up if I needed it but my husband took me back at the end of the day when the car was ready. They also had a special so I got one free with the install of the four ( 2 shocks, 2 Struts) Im sorry I didnt think of them when I needed the brakes done. Its a relatively new store at this location so I forgot they were there. I had gone by discount tires to see if they did oil changes because I was not going to go back to Big 0, they did not but gave me a coupon for brakes plus for the oil change. When he told me where it was I felt stupid because I practically drove right by it and didnt see it..well I am glad I went here and will be going back for any of my car needs in the future. Brakes Plus came highly recommended by two members of my family, when I moved across town and needed a place to get my oil changed. My experiences both times have been stellar!! Last week I went out on my lunch break at work and there was a wide river of oily looking gunk that had come from underneath my car. I called the 1840 W Happy Valley location since it was just a mile from where I work. They had me bring the car in immediately. I did not have to wait for an appointment. When I got there Ira Sena put my car up on the rack right away and was able to not only tell me what was wrong but provided an estimate. They were able to get the part and by 10 AM the next morning they called and said my car was ready. The estimate was right on target, no hidden surprises nor did they try and upsell me which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Brakes Plus. I checked my Jeep Wrangler in yesterday morning for a bad noise that I was hearing in the rear of my Jeep. I had brought it to 2 other places before and they both told me that my brakes were fine. Well after hearing my concerns Lana dug into the system and found out that my rear brakes needed to be replaced, explained to me what the problem was. Several hours later she took it on a test drive and noticed the brake pedal was off, something I have been telling everyone for months that I believed that there was something wrong with the brake pressure. Well once again she dug into that problem and discovered an O ring in my brake booster was broken. You can't imagine my relief when she showed it to me and the feeling I had that I was right all along about it being messed up. She got it replaced and back on the road again. My jeep felt like a new car, I couldn't believe how well it stopped. I would recommend to anyone to use them, they are the best! I am so happy now! read more

I've worked in customer service for over 10 years and the level of service I received for the short time I was there was unmatched (I'm not just saying it to say it). "Yes sir and no sir". My Honda Civic was having an issue with a protective plate covering the Radiator. We called Brakes Plus and asked if they could assist us. They advised they could get us in and check out what was happening. Not only did they get us in and checked out super quickly, but showed us what exactly what was happening and how to fix it. After coming here for a bit we finally found a slow time to chat with the owners John and Lana....now we are sold even more (we could seriously hang out with them all day). Great people.
