This brake master is located on N. Dysart rd. Avondale. Not on cave creek Rd . Beware, they are always trying to get customers to purchase other repairs that are not needed. Will never get repairs there due to them trying to get additional repairs added when not needed Went for brake pad install, they insisted that I needed rotors however I questioned the fact that they were still within factory specs so did not need rotors. next was they called me to view wheel bearings with brake dust accumulated and stated there was a noise coming from the wheel bearing. I rotated it and very little sound. They insisted my wheel bearings were bad. There was no noise coming from my vehicle that would sound as if my wheel bearings were going out once again, they insisted they were bad. read more

What can I say the guys that work here are great. They give me a thorough inspection and honest feedback on a car I'm considering buying. So I bought the vehicle and bring back to them to make the repairs. Not only was it done in one day, but they even took my car to emissions for me to save me time? What who does that well this Brake Masters they do... on top of the strut repairs they repaired a missing lug nut and replaced the hood lift supports I bought to put on for free. This place is great. I have taken two cars here. A 2009 CRV and 2018 CRV. They fixed them both at separate times with fair pricing. Both cars have about 130k miles on them so they both has the same issues that needed fixing. Still over my budget, but I believe they went above and beyond and told me what MUST be fixed and what could wait. I recently took my 2018 CRV to the dealership to do a fuel pump recall (free) and the dealership gave me a quote of all the things that still needed to be fixed/maintained (which I knew it needed maintenance). (brakes, alignment, bushings and on and on) After I picked it up from the dealership, l took it to Brake Masters and told them what the dealership said needed fixed ) (I didn't tell them how much the dealership wanted to charge) and their quote it was slightly over half of what the dealership wanted. AND that included fixing my A/C which the dealership did not include in their price. (Yes, we know dealerships are pricey!) So, although any unexpected automotive repair is expensive for my budget, Brake Masters was still way fair and pleasant to work with and they drove me home and picked me up to get my car. I would recommend this business and I will always go here for my cars!! read more

They did a fantastic job on my Honda Civic. I am naturally distrusting of mechanics, but they proved to me that they are honorable. The skid plate was installed properly, and a high quality oil was used (0W-20 "Synpower" from Valvoline). While I personally prefer Pennzoil, this is a great option. A couple of experiences at this location. First got my breaks replaced there, within 12,000 miles I had to warranty replace them again along with front rotors. Then 13,000 miles later I have the same issues and all pads need to be replaced again. Then another 12,000 miles later rotos and brake pads need to be replaced and quoted me over $1000 to do so using OEM dealer parts. Ultimately I did the work myself for less and got left with useless parts halfway used parts from this shop. Prior to the last couple of break replacements I had motor mount issues. Took it here to replace them and the next day I had a horrible vibration, they replaced them and still had issues until I asked them to upgrade me to dealer mounts which solved that issue. Not sure what the disconnect here is but Its been a hit or miss. Will no longer take my vehicle for service or anything else here. read more

I took my 2015 Acura in for routine service. Stan was great to work with. They found a problem with the front suspension which needed attention. He kept the car on the rack to show me what the problem was and what the repair would entail. I was able to get that done the next day. He also reviewed all the services that had not been done that were recommended. The critical issue was changing the timing belt. He explained all the other services. I brought it back and they did all the work in about 6 hours. When I came back Stan took me back and showed me kit that was used and the old parts The timing belt was no longer flexible and there were signs of small leak around the water pump I was very pleased with the work and how I was treated. read more

I met with Sean who automatically looked to see if he can get me a coupon and offered me water and some trinkets that had inside. My car was done quick and ran well. Do not take your car here. They are crooks! Got oil changed and had the radiator flushed and fluids added. Got the truck back. A few days later I notice radiator fluid leaking. So I let them know and take it back. After already paying them 500 for the fluid change they tell me I have a cracked radiator and It needs replaced. I think that's kind of suspicious but my truck and that radiator have 90k on it so I say go ahead and drop a new one in and give them another 600 and some change to do so. Not even a week later I notice radiator fluid leaking! So I take it to another mechanic and have it diagnosed. No way I was taking it back there! The other mechanics tell me the transmission cooling lines are not even tightened and the radiator looks like it was just thrown in! They found damage to the radiator shroud from where the fan was hitting in! So now I may need to replace my fan and shroud! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Edit: thanks but no thanks. You've guys done enough. I don't trust my vehicle with you. read more

Mike this THE BEST!! I have a 31 year old Cadillac and it's my only transportation until I can have collision damage repaired on my Dodge Avenger. It was incredibly important that I attend my nephew's graduation in May. My caddy's headlights weren't working at all. Wasn't able to drive at night for months and months. My nephew's graduation was at night and I really needed the headlights to work or else I would miss the graduation. I brought my car to Mike and for a very....and I mean VERY reasonable price, he and his amazing staff fixed my headlights (and my windshield wipers!). I was able to see my nephew graduate, thanks to Mike! It rained that night on my way home and I was so happy that my wipers were working! I was advised by Silver Rock to take my 2014 Ram Truck to this location, following purchase with an engine light error. They had the truck twice, the first time resetting the light, the 2nd time for the same thing 24 hours later. 2nd visit they claimed was a technician error, and that they had tightened up spark coils and tested everything. Truck was fine for 1 week, then errors came back. Drive Time had "supposedly" had the engine tuned up ad a nearby service provider (in Glendale store location); but they were not very good. Midas 7/21/20 had to repair their screw up, and found 4 original spark plugs, 1 bad one and 1 oddball one, plus 2 bad ignition coils. Obviously Brake Masters and/or Silver Rock/Drive Time) did not wish to fix the problem correctly after the sale, and "mickey moused" a temporary fix. Not very professional. read more

Well, my brakes started squeaking... took it in because there should be no way its time for a replacement set after 10k miles. They advised that they were unable to duplicate the concern (it squeaked as I pulled out the parking lot) they advised I bring it back and leave it over night. Chris advised that pads were only at 20% wear, and everything looked great. So I took it into lexus, got a loaner... admitted that I cheated on them to save a few hundred dollars... turns out my pads had been installed my pads backwards, and had caused my rotors to glaze. $281 later, I should've just gone to the dealer. read more

I went to the shop I had been going to for a 4 wheel alignment and an oil change. They did it and also recommended brakes all around for $1700. I have a GMC Yukon XL SLT. This quote included resurfacing my front rotors and replacing the rears, new pads on all 4. Brake flush, and power steering fluid replacement. Telling me I was at 1 mm left on the front. I knew it was close to time for brakes as I've driven 65,000 miles on them. I still thought the price was too much. I called Brake Masters on Cave Creek and Bell. Fernando got me in the next morning at 8. They inspected and told me pads all around, resurface the rotors all around, lifetime pad warranty $373 out the door. I didn't talk about power steering because I don't need it. Take that out of the other guys quote, $373 vs $1500, I'll be coming back for more regular service. Plus they were fast, I was driving by 10 am. Thank you Fernando and Jerry. Great job!!! read more

Excellent service!! Was able to get me in next day in the morning on a SATURDAY!! The prices were fair for replacing all four break pads. (So much better than dealer prices and I did get quotes from other break places). They also came with a lifetime warranty! My front break pads were super grinding metal to metal and now that they're replaced and resurfaced, feels WAY BETTER AND WAAAAAY SAFER!! Lol totally worth the wait and price. I did get someone else to drive a separate car there and get a ride back, so I didn't have to impatiently wait in the lobby and make them feel pressured. You have to to give those replacements time, so figure out a way to keep yourself busy. I would definitely recommend their services!! The guys there are informative and super helpful, not that pushy, considering I'm a female...no up selling unnecessary repairs!! 5 out of 5! read more

He also paid for a Lyft so we could wait in the comfort of our home while they fixed out Car. I can't say enough good things about this business. Dave, we WILL be return customers. 8-24-19 We had reason to return to BM for a separate issue and the service exceeded what we experienced the fist time (which I didn't think was possible).
