They replaced a front axle seal, front differential service, thrust alignment, replaced spark plugs, replaced serpentine belt and did a fuel induction service. I am a 70-year-old widow that knows very little about cars, so I depend on these mechanics to keep my car in good running order. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I recently went in for simply an alignment on my 94 Cherokee. After telling me they can't align it do to the car needing new tie rods. They offered to order the parts and put them on the same day. I leave the car there all day and come back to pick it up when it's ready. When I go to drive the car it sways back and forth and wobbles. Nothing like it ever has before. So I give Brakes Plus a call to see why it's doing that and they say it's supposed to be like that and it just needs an alignment. So then I look at the tie-rods and notice they are super tightened down way more then they are supposed to be. They also have no clue what they are talking about and I was treated rudely by the staff. The guy who did my car his name was Zach. He was rude and not helpful. read more

Great customer service w/ no unnecessary upsell and were very communicative. Everything about the services requested (oil change etc) was done right although they couldn't get my wheel rotation completed (and gave me a discount because of it... make sure to bring your wheel lock key if you have them!). Only thing I wish they'd pay attention to more is the reservation system. My 9 AM reservation still had a 45-minute wait before my truck was brought in. Someone who had a 10:30 was quoted a 3-hour wait. Not sure what's going on there but something to look into so that there's more five-star ratings because the shop deserves them. Thanks! read more

I scheduled an appointment for 10am. I called an hour later after dropping it off to see if my car was ready, they said no that my car was probably going to be next in line. So I decided to go out for lunch and come an hour later. They STILL didn't get my car in! They asked if we could wait an additional 40 minutes even thought my appointment was at 10am! We all hate getting our cars serviced. Especially when you know nothing about cars. But, this location makes getting my car serviced hurt a little less. They are always so friendly and pleasant on the phone. They are also very accommodating and efficient. Anytime I have called to schedule an oil change, they fit me in (even on busy days) and service my car in a very timely manner. Car talk is a foreign language to me, which puts me at a disadvantage at most of the auto repair shops I've visited. I have been overcharged and I have paid for parts and "fixes" my car didn't really need. That does not happen at brakes plus in my experience. The mechanics that I have worked with at Brakes Plus are SO NICE! They do not make me feel stupid and they explain things in a way that makes sense for me. I was particularly impressed with Gilbert Fransua the last time I visited Brakes Plus. He did not treat me like a "stupid girl" that knows nothing about cars, he did not encourage me to spend more, he explained my cars issues in a way that actually made sense, he gave me options, he was incredible! Terrible service. They will literally screw up on whatever you have them change/repair. Then when you go back in, they'll charge you for repairing their own mistake. The parts they use are also very cheap quality. I've had friends with similar experiences when they went there as well. read more

I scheduled an appointment for 9am, but go there around 820am just in case they have opening. I told the guy in front that I'll be waiting for the car since I don't have any other transportation. Was sitting there for 1hr, no update and didn't even bring the car in yet. So I asked the other person if my vehicle was going to get fixed before 1130am. I was expecting for them to bring the vehicle, inspect it and provide an estimated time of completion, NOPE! Came back with "we're gonna need more time to inspect your vehicle. Time to take out the tires, brakes." I was there to get the brakes inspected (and serviced if required) and wheel balance. What a waste of time. read more

Dropped my husbands truck off letting them know it was pouring pink fluid out so we haven't drove it in 4 days until we could get it looked at. They call us within 20 minutes stating there is nothing wrong with it there is no wet spots (obviously we said we hadn't drove it in 4 days) and all fluids are full. We tell them that's impossible it was pouring pink fluid out something has to be wrong they state they are going to look again.....called us back to pick it up there is nothing wrong. Drives it to work the next day it starts to smell like something is burning and truck gives "engine too hot" and has to pull over on the side of the road whole time it was the coolant. Now to try and find somewhere else to take it. read more

I have a 2017 Lexus rx 340 f sport that I took in for brakes in August of 2023 that needed brake pads and rotors to the tune of almost 1400 dollars. in the past month I noticed pulsing in the brakes so I brought it back to them to check it out. they call me and said the rotors were warped and the pads were worn. they said the parts were still under warranty but that the labor was only 6 months and 6k miles. So even thought they would replace the pads and rotors under warranty we would need to pay another 363.00 for warranty to have them replace the parts. I have never heard of a "labor" warranty but apparently this is a Brakes Plus policy. I have had a warranty where all parts and labor are covered and in certain circumstances they may prorate but never had to pay a labor warranty. Steer clear of Brakes Plus if you want a genuine warranty for parts and labor. I will not be returning unfortunatley. read more

I brought my truck in due to a service light regarding my break assist about a week ago. I left the truck for inspection and was called back in less than an hour. The technician told me that the issue appeared to be the result of a recall from Chevy and that I'd need to take it to a dealership for resolution. They could have very well fixed it and charged me but instead referred me to my dealership who fixed the issue at no cost. Additionally they did not charge me for the diagnostic. I've gotten my oil changed here several times and they've always been a professional and expedient. I will continue going here for service and would recommend them to anyone. read more

Got brakes replaced couldn't afford at the time the better brake pads , then about 6 months later got the brakes replaced again got the better pads this time squeaks right off the bat went back had them checked they said couldn't get it to squeak but they said they replaced pads with better ones I asked for the tires to be rotated as well that didn't happen then next day center hub cap was gone it came off tires didn't get rotated bc brake dust still on both front rims, brakes squeaked again right off the bat for the price thought service would be better but I guess I learned a lesson read more

My truck was scheduled for a Monday morning drop off for new brake pads and a transmission flush. I told him that I will be by around four to pick it up. They called me at 3:15 stating that they had and just started working on it. Told them not to touch it and put it back in the parking lot. Absolutely no remorse and dumbfounded when I was upset that they had the truck all day and just now started. EJ helped me out big. Shop is ran old school imo I had to double flange a hard brake line, they allowed me to bring in my brake line and it took them 20 minutes to complete it. Very affordable! The crew does a great job there. I have an older vehicle and I would definitely trust them to do work on my car if I needed it. read more

While having a routine oil change, I asked for a estimate for shocks and struts. The estimate was very reasonable and better than other quotes I had previously received. Upon ordering the needed parts from their supplier they realized they were given a price for the wrong parts and the needed parts could only be obtained from the dealership. There was a major price difference. Both EJ and JB were upfront, open and honest about this difference. My original estimate went up a little, while they agreed to absorb the majority of the difference. Because of their openness and honesty, I will definitely take any of our vehicles to them for any consultation and I recommend you consider them as well. read more

They told me my camber bolts were seized. I went to Firestone right after and they said everything went well. These guys wanted to charge me $500 to get it cut and replaced. I looked at the camber bolts myself and they didn't have any marks or rust indicating that they even tried. Don't go to this BS place. read more
