Diego was great and he didn't take advantage of us. He told us what we needed and what we didn't and got the work done fast.

I needed a starter so I had my car towed here . It was the closest place to take ot to get it fixed . Long story short the next day I'm called and told my car is ready for pickup . I just needed my starter replaced and in my car it's very simple to get to the starter and replace it I'd have done it myself had I had the tools . So the job took them "an hour " they start working on my car the next day at 9am I'm called to pick it up an hour later at 10 am . Figures the place had no Yelp nor is it listed as a business . I get my car and it fires up so the starter is fixed but 3 min after driving down the road I notice a heavy vibration my car now has every time I press the breaks so I figure I should drive it a little more at least back to work before I turn around and ask them about it and perhaps it will go away . I'm thinking maybe it's a new fluid they introduced into my engine maybe. Really I dont know much about cars so I end up going back the same hour and speak to Diego I tell him to hop in so he can feel the vibration for himself and ask him what is it my car has never vibrated like this before. He tried to brush me off and tell me all they did was replace the starter and that he cannot get it he has to quickly go . The place is now apparently closed for the day after I pick up my car ?!?! I think this guy and this place are crooks and a RIP off bogus business . I feel I have been scammed . I paid over $250 to change out a piece no more difficult than a lightbulb and now I'm stuck with a vibrating car like a drying machine . Do not go here this place is hidden and full of shady people . The place looks trashy and unclean it was a big mistake I made by not doing my research first and looking around but for convenience sake I brought my car here and now am screwed out of almost $300 and my car even though running runs in worse condition than before I brought it to these scam artists . read more

CONSUMER BEWARE!!!!! Brake Zone has terrible customer service! Does not stand behind their work and has NO regard for your vehicle! This is the WORST experience I have ever had with a repair shop! I brought my car in for front brakes and left with damage to my bumper and brakes that are squeeking. I pointed damage out to owner and he denied doing it. It cost me over $320.00 to have bumper repaired. The owner said he has video but never provided it to BBB. In correspondence with Brake Zone they said "It doesnt matter to us". If you need brakes or any other service save yourself the hassle and aggravation and find another shop! read more

Took my BMW 330 to this shop for rear brake pads and one month later had my 4 point maintenance service at the BMW service and the inspection revealed that the pads were installed incorrectly (backwards) which caused damage to the rotors. I immediately took my back to their shop to tell them and show them a video to support this and Diego denied any wrong doing and told me that he didn't touch my rear pads that he worked on the front brake pads which was a complete lie as I had his service work order invoice receipt which clearly stated that he replaced the rear brake pads. He became violent and extremely abusive and was shouting for me to leave. Extremely unprofessional, rude and demeaning. Think twice before bringing your vehicle to these slugs. read more

Terrible Service! I have been a customer here for a few years, as I thought that the manager Diego was somewhat honest. With that said, I came in recently at 8 am for a simple tire balance. Diego told me it would be a 4 hour wait, yet he took two "walk in" oil changes that came in after me, ahead of me! He was a nice guy in the past, but has not been so friendly recently for some reason (and I have given him a lot of business!) What an insult! I walked out, never to go back again! The shop was not that busy either, with empty service bays open! Respect your loyal customers Diego! And don't see walk ins before your loyal customers! Also, the shop times on the Brakes Zone website and here on Yelp are wrong! I told Diego about this (when I showed up one afternoon at 5 pm on a weekday, with posted hours until 6), and he said, "No, those hours are wrong, I should have fixed those years ago!" Good thing I didn't show up early on a Saturday, cause they aren't even open! Yet the website states they are! Bad management! You won't be taking my money any longer.... read more
